Fantastic customer service
Had a set of these great knives for over 15 years. Had a recent problem with the most used one. Asked customer service if there was anything could be done and they sent a new knife. Guido in customer service was absolutely excellent. In this day and age a fantastic after sales service which underlines just how good Wusthof is.
Non-existant customer service. Avoid
Utterly abysmal customer service. Ordered an expensive knife block and very excited to make the jump to Wusthof. Block came missing the 20cm Chef Knife. The UK website was incorrect in the description of what was included, on investigation the Global and EU sites were correct. 3 emails to customer service over a 2 week period - no reply. Returned the entire thing. Excellent knives let down by an utterly abysmal customer service. Would not trust them for warranty which generally justifies the price tag.

Wenn es doch mal ein Problem gibt (bei mir war nach ca. 18 Jahren ein Griff gebrochen) bietet WÃŒsthof ausgezeichneten, freundlichen und sehr kulanten Service.

Na 1,5 jaar is het 10cm mes gebroken. Misbruik door een kind of haarbreuk was zeer lastig te zien. Aangezien ik nog niet eerder een gebroken mes heb gehad door te laten vallen, dacht ik aan misbruik door een kind.
Per mail een melding gemaakt met foto's. Een auto reply met wilt u s.v.p. alles opsturen en diezelfde dag nog een bericht dat ik binnen 2 a 3 weken een nieuwe zou ontvangen.
In 3 dagen lag de nieuwe in de bus. Verwachting 2x overtroffen.
Die is daadwerkelijk gekomen zonder verder omslachtig gedoe.
Shocking customer service
Shocking customer service! I ordered two kitchen knives for my partner on Sunday 1st December and paid for them to be delivered by Thursday 5th December. When they had still not arrived by Monday 9th December I emailed their customer service team and nobody replied. I had to chase the customer service team again on Wednesday 11 December for them to reply with the screen shot of the delivery information and no other context. The screen shot was no use as the last update was Tuesday 3rd December so did not update me regarding the location of my parcel. Iâve now had to chase them again to ask if another order can be shipped or for them to chase with the delivery company. This is especially poor when you take into consideration how much money the knives are worth.

My knife never arrived
My knife never arrived, went elsewhere, courier error. It's now more than two weeks since I ordered it and Wustof don't really seem to be doing much about it. Not impressed, which is a shame as the knives are really good.
High Quality products - annoying email Spam
First of all - the knives are fantastic and the quality is outstanding. However once you purchase from WÃŒsthof - you will get daily spam emails from WÃŒsthof EMEA to rate their products. This goes on until you unsubscribe from their emails. Incredibly annoying and very poor behaviour for a company that makes such great products. This is so annoying that we actually stopped buying from WÃŒsthof.
Lifetime guarantee...not honoured, until I'd emailed multiple times
Lifetime guarantee...unlike others writing reviews on Trustpilot. Guido from Wusthof sent me this (email below) when I shared a knife blade that had very dangerously detached from it's handle whilst being used to cut cheese:
"Of course I understand what you mean.
But unfortunately I can't replace something that no longer exists.
This is really the only way to estimate the value of your knife."
I was offered £12 towards a new knife meaning I'd have to pay the difference. I don't understand why a lifetime guarantee is selectively honoured? This is a money off offer and not a lifetime guarantee.
Update - after a 9 day gap, I heard back from Guido who upped the gesture to £20 off. More emails and then as I hoped the lifetime guarantee was honoured and a replacement knife sent. I'm grateful. It took 17 days and being assertive to achieve. The whole experience was a topic of conversation with friends and family and in the meantime I'd bought a recommended Victorinox knife. Isn't that a dreadful shame as before I would have lauded Wusthof and been a lifelong customer.
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service! About 9yrs after being given a knife block set, my utility knife broke. No receipt, no order number or purchase date. Two emails later with a friendly and professional Guido, I received a brand new replacement knife through the post! Thank you so much! I love Wusthof!
No refund poor customer service
I bought a knife mid August, but it was the wrong size, subsequently I submitted a return following their return process it was send via the post office tracked and was received by Wustof. I have emailed them 3 times and they claim they have not received it now I am out £140 and still haven't heard from them. A company that makes an outstanding product is let down by deplorable customer service.
Lifetime guarantee
Received a knife block set for a wedding present 16 years ago. The handle broke on the Santoku knife from the set and I emailed customer service with photos. I filled in the warranty form with the little information I knew and they said a replacement knife would be on its way in a few days. Amazing service that shows how much they stand by their product.
Lifetime Warranty Honoured
I had a Wusthof Culinar knife given to me as a present many years ago and it recently broke at the handle. Wusthof Customer Services asked for some photos etc then agreed to send a completely new knife as the Culinar range is no longer made. Not only that, but they agreed to send a wider knife than the standard with no problems.
I've always said that a company is only as good as how it acts when things go wrong, and on this occasion Wusthof could not have done any better. Thankyou...
Lifetime guarantee
At least 10 years ago, I bought a collection of Wusthof knives that have served me very well. Unfortunately, recently one of the knifes fell to the ground and broke in two. I informed Wusthoff about this who responded almost immediately. Even though the knife was bought in Europe, the lifetime guarantee was honored in South America where I now live and the knife was replaced. Very impressive!

Donât think Iâll ever get to enjoy the knife Iâve ordered
I ordered the Craftsman knife on June 27th and itâs now July 8th and thereâs been no movement on delivery. Account just states âunfulfilledâ.
Iâve tried contacting Wustof UK with no reponse at all. I then tried Wustof US who kindly replied to say there was a problem with the order and it would be dispatched last week which didnât happen.
Youâre better off order a Zwilling or WMF Spitzenklasse Knife as theyâre essentially the same quality, steel and relative Rockwell hardness rating and have a far superior customer service.
Iâll now have to raise a dispute with PayPal to get my money back. This company doesnât care about or have invested interest in itâs European customer base. How do you think thatâs going to work out if thereâs an issue with your knife and the warranty?
I bought a Wustof Ikon Santuko from Amazon and there was an issue with the QC. Thankfully buying it from Amazon the issue was resolved instantly.
Hope this review helps someone avoid the countless potential problems with this companyâs customer service within Europe. I really would like to invest in multiple Wustof knives but just canât deal with this level of poor customer service!
I expected much better from customer services
I have used Wusthof products for a number of years. I bought them because my family have always been keen amateur cooks and grew up watching my mum as a chef prepare and cook some amazing dishes and used Wusthof knives. I spent £1340 on x7 ikon classics knives, x1 pair of scissors and a Wusthof knife block. Within 3 months the finger guard on the 26cm sharpening steel started to spin because it was loose. Itâs really annoying when your using it so Iâve gone back to an older one I had spare but itâs not very good. I contacted Wusthof and was told to post it to Germany at my costs and they would take a look but they were very defensive and hinted I had maybe dropped it. I was also told i would be charged if they found the problem was user error ! I asked if they could be any ruder and more abrupt to customers who stayed loyal to the brand and the conversation conveniently ended. Still waiting for an email reply 2 months later. Sad to see them treat customers like this and I honestly expected more from Wusthof.

Unglaublicher Service - freundlich und Kulanz wird hier neu definiert. Ich war sprachlos, als ich aufgrund einer RÌckfrage Ìber den kaputten Griff eines Ikon Classic ein paar Tage spÀter einfach ein neues Messer geschickt bekommen habe.
