Waiting a really long time from their customer service, Their webpage wasnât working and I reported this as I was trying to fill out a form online but I have been waiting an extremely long time for any kind of response to my issue. Iâm very surprised at this lack of professionalism on their part.

Absolut unverstÀndlich dass ein so renommiertes Unternehmen einen solch schlechten Kundensipport bietet. Habe eine push 3 standalone gekauft und per Kreditkarte bezahlt. Produkt wird nicht geliefert. telefonisch ist die Hotline "under construction und auf emails inkl. widerruf der Bestellung wird einfach nicht geantwortet. ich habe jetzt eine Rechtsanwalt eingeschaltet und meiner Kreditkartenfirma einen betrug gemeldet. Anders kann ich mir nicht mehr helfen.

Einfach nur enttÀuschend!

Ich habe Hardware bestellt (Move), die durch ein Versehen wieder zurÌckgesendet wurde. Seit mehr als einer Woche habe ich ausser ein "ich frage mal im Warenhaus nach" nichts mehr von Ableton gehört oder gar die geforderte Erstattung des Kaufbetrages erhalten. Eigentlich plante ich nach der Erstattung die Order zu wiederholen, aber davon werde ich nun Abstand nehmen. Wenn ich die Bewertungen des Supports hier und und Foren so sehe, bleibt man eher auf (Ìberteuerter) defekter Hardware sitze, als dass einem im Notfall geholfen wird.
Nicht lieferbare Ware verkaufen
Ableton Move anbieten mit dem Versprechen innerhalb von 2-4 Werktagen zu liefern und dafÃŒr Vorkasse kassieren.
Dann stellt sich heraus, dass die Ware ÃŒberhaupt nicht lieferbar ist.
Telefonischer Kontakt unmöglich, da die Telefonanlage erst aufgebaut wird.... ?????

UPDATE
Overall, the company is still in its upcoming stages and they are in fact helpful. And, ultimately, they are providing a DAW for free and which is intuitive to use and works excellently. A comparable option to Logic Pro.
Old Review (two stars)
The DAW software is free as advertised with certain audio-interfaces and yet only a basic version limited to eight recordings tracks (layers) and no effective de-esser and which rules out being able to record vocals unless you spend over two-hundred pounds on their paid-software or even more on a third-party plug-in. You might as well get Logic.
Their customer-service is not very down-to-earth when it comes to answering questions while the company overall comes across as a newbie primarily out to make a quick profit.
Ableton does get a star all the same because they are still providing a DAW to record with and which is something. It is just that I like to be told everything at the start.

Cool DAW that's almost perfect
Best DAW (live standard) I've tried so far, by far. Feel's like it was coded by sound engineers not software engineers. UI, as well as looking cool, has some exceptionally wise design behind it. However, slightly disappointed by some missing features...
(1) No sample editor - Basic sample editing should be a technically trivial thing to implement. If it was open source I'd add it myself. Launching Audacity sort of works, but I'd much rather do the basic stuff I need all in the main Ableton window.
(2) No track based MIDI program control - If this is an attempt to make me buy MAX then that's truly pathetic. As I'm using Ableton to develop an external synth I was able to re-purpose MIDI channel control 119 as a program control. Just 3 lines of code to save me £129 ;-)

Unfortunately in terms of convenience I can't say it's the best. For me FL Studio has much more pleasant navigation and as a user I feel very comfortable there. I hope Ableton will update the UX/UI someday

Ableton software was bundled "free" with hardware I purchased. Downloaded and installed it. Didn't like the program at all......so removed it, or so I thought.
After trawling through every conceivable location on my hard drive to rid myself of this garbage there are still .dll files and remnants of Ableton littered all over the show. It's so bad I can't install ASIO drivers for a midi keyboard. The installation is actually telling me that Ableton is preventing driver installation.
This software is like a virus. Wish I'd never bothered touching it. Avoid this rubbish, fellow music makers, it's not worth the hassle. Horrible experience trying to rid myself of this "virus!"
Poor customer support
Poor customer support. I purchased live 12 which won't work on my ancient Intel Catalina mac. The license doesn't work on 11. It's been over a week and I've heard nothing from technical or customer support.
Very bad customer experience
This company asked for a 225$ upgrade fee less than one year after purchasing the 450$ program. Utterly predatory charge for a basic upgrade that hardly adds anything. After explaining the predicament they were unwilling to offer any reasonable discount after I had missed a tiny window for a "sale" price, but even with a sale your looking at 100$ charge every year and thats if you have a double stacking discount like I would have had. So definitely look forward to big predatory charges if you want to update this program.
The support is shocking - Ableton 12 problems.
The support is shocking. Ableton has been great but they need to put some of their money into support. I also use Logic who doesn't charge for upgrades and support their products well. So why can't Ableton do this. The support is also purposely slow, like asking you questions you've already told them to try and stall you or make you give up. Shame on you Ableton.
Ableton push 2 always showing problems
I purchased an Ableton Push 2 in 2022, and before completing one year of usage, it started exhibiting problems. The buttons would act as if pressed without being touched, and it would write automation without receiving any commands. I contacted support and went through all the necessary procedures. Eventually, they sent me a faulty unit. At that moment, I regretted spending money on their product. I reported the issue and requested a refund, expressing my concern that they might continue sending me faulty units until my warranty expires, leaving me without recourse. They offered me a brand new unit, which I accepted, but that turned out to be my biggest mistake. The entire process took about three to four months.
So less than eight months after receiving the new unit, it began exhibiting problems again. So, I contacted their support and requested a refund because their product does not deliver on its promises. They asked for all the necessary paperwork again, but I declined (I understand they have their procedures), providing the required videos instead. I refused to go through the reporting process again as the issues were different each time. Sometimes the entire device would freeze, or one pad would activate while playing a different one. How am I supposed to provide a report for random issues if they are intermittent?
Now my biggest fear has materialized, as they provided me with another faulty unit, and my warranty is approaching expiration. I worry that they will refuse to address the issue once the warranty expires, despite my timely attempts to contact them. They have ignored my recent emails, and even when I tried to reply to the previous ticket where they resolved the problem with the first unit, I received no response. This disregard has greatly demotivated me from producing music, as their software consistently crashes.
Last time, it took an extensive amount of time to provide everything they requested, and I have other projects in my life that demand my attention. Time is money, and I cannot afford to allocate valuable time to troubleshooting issues just to generate crash reports for their bureaucracy, which appears to be the reason for their disregard. I have videos demonstrating all the problems, and I am exhausted from attempting to resolve this situation. If they continue to ignore me, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action.
