I would 100% recommend the ACE MD Neurosurgery program at Neurosurgical Institute in Los Angeles, California to other students. I learned more than I ever thought I ever would within 5 weeks of my program. This was an amazing opportunity for anyone that hopes to pursue Neurosurgery in the future. In this program, my mentors, Dr. M. and Dr. B. are amazing at helping you understand what you are going to see and everything about that topic on every patient. They are always open for questions which made me gain even more from the experience. Both of my mentors were
very helpful and supportive. I have learned
and gained so much through my experience with my mentors. The hours I spent shadowing my mentors and seeing patients were truly the best moments I had during my placement. I wished I stayed longer to get to know them more. This internship was truly unforgettable, and it help realize that Neurosurgery is what I love to do after my medical school. It definitely added a lot to my knowledge about healthcare, patient inquiries, diagnostic imaging, physical examination, clinical cases, etc. Seeing SCS, SPECT/CT, surgeries, minimally invasive surgeries and the lives of patients being improved was amazing. It was interesting and challenging when I presented my Clinical Case to my mentors. It was an experience that help me prepare for my future. I wish to thank M., MD., B., MD., T., PA-C., J., M., PA-C. and all
the staff at the California Neurological Center for giving the opportunity to feel like part of the team.

I have done observership through ACE and the doctors working with ACE are amazing. I am so happy that I got the opportunity to learn from them. I am also thankful to ACE team especially Jon because he helped me a lot even it was tough time for everyone due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Jon was very clear about the rotation. It was decently priced for it's quality in terms of experience and LOR. Preceptor was a very friendly guy. Overall id6say best company in my opinion in the US.

PS one little detail, since it's not a official hospital rotation, this wont seem as intense as your own practice in ur home country. And inpatient experience isn't as much due to hospital restrictions. But that doesn't matter in the end as your LOR counts.

I contacted ACE in hopes of finding a good research program that would ultimately lead to publications in PubMed-indexed journals. Jon from ACE helped me get in touch with Dr T. who runs a 2 month part time distance learning research writing program. I was ultimately able to publish a couple of papers while enrolled in the program.
Overall, I found ACE staff trustworthy and friendly. I was especially impressed by the fact that they were pretty open about their programs and while, as any other company, they highlighted the advantages of the programs they are offering, they never tried to hide the disadvantages. As such, I would recommend them without hesitation to people looking for US Clinical or Research/Publishing experience.

I had an amazing rotation in pediatrics. The case load was pretty good and my mentor was friendly and answered all my questions and doubts. I had a few in patient rounds. Overall, I am satisfied the way the rotation went.

I had the the opportunity to rotate at the Houston Methodist Hospital in Texas. The hospital in itself is an impressive facility and the doctors are simply brilliant ! Dr.L and Dr.B with their simple yet effective history taking skills and examination taught me how to put a patient at ease while managing to glean important bits of information that would direct me in the right direction as far as a probable diagnosis is concerned !

There were lots of interesting cases to learn from and apart from an excellent in patient experience , I had the best time attending several conferences and expanding my knowledge on various fields in Internal Medicine.

I am grateful to Jon for giving me this experience . He has been very kind, patient ,approachable and straightforward.

All in all, I had a great time here at Methodist and would definitely recommend ACE MD for those seeking a good US clinical experience! Thank you very much Jon and ACE MD

Hello, I am Yashwanth Reddy Ananthula, and completed a few clinical rotations through ACE (American Clinical Experience). I did a variety of rotations in Chicago - every rotation met my expectations and was a great learning experience - and the doctors are really friendly and taught well, especially for Psychiatry and General Surgery. For IMGs I highly recommend to do the rotations through ACE!

I had great experience working with DR M in general surgery , it was fully hands on . I was allowed to practice and be active in patient care ; preoperatively , intra-operatively and postoperatively . I highly recommend this Dr .
The process of working with ACE was very easy and they replied to all my doubts and questions , there were no delays or mix up , everything was smooth .

I really enjoyed and gained very good clinical exposure and clinical skills. The doctor (Dr. S) I was assigned to, was absolutely brilliant and I consider him the best teacher. The work place and hospital rotations boosted up my interest and ended up wanting to experience more of the amazing work. Thank you for giving me such wonderful opportunity to explore and experience clinical knowledge and skills.

My AMERICAN CLINICAL EXPERIENCE was fantastic.
The American Clinical Experience helped me to grow up professionally as Medical Doctor and in the Academic Search in my country, Albania.
This opportunity for this Observership and Hands-On was great for me as European Doctor because I have learned american clinical system and is good for giving informations about the international exchanges and trainings in the future for the future medical doctors.

Jon and the rest of the team were absolutely courteous, informative, and very efficient with my questions and concerns before I signed up. They also followed up with during my rotation and even after to get feedback. Its the most trustworthy and reputable company I've encountered in this field and couldn't recommend ACE enough to all my juniors and the students I come across. Thanks again!

I took a Psychiatry Rotation at Interfaith Medical Center through ACE. I can confidently say that my rotation was very productive as I was able to gain a lot of exposure and knowledge of In patient Psychiatry. Students spent time with residents and attending at Interfaith and they are very helpful. The rotation offers excellent exposure to all kind of psychopathologies. The rotation is very productive with didactics and lectures involved along with giving a good idea of how in-patient psychiatry works. The people from ACE remained cooperative throughout the rotation. Jon and his team responded to all my questions and were very helpful throughout the entire process. I can surely say that they have an honest and dedicated team.

I just finished up a hands on pediatrics rotation and I'm very grateful to ACE for helping me with the opportunity! The preceptor was great, the experience was wonderful. I'm giving 4 stars however because I felt that communication on ACE's end could have been better as my starting date approached. Other than that, they did well - they even gave me some housing options for my stay. I would definitely use them again - thanks guys!

My experience during the rotation at Methodist Hospital was great because you get to see patients in clinic and also inpatients. The inpatients were in different areas of the hospital like for example intensive medical care or patients that were on the surgical floor and they need pulmonology to consult so at the same time they were patients with varied problems, not just pulmonology. Also at the clinic sometimes you can see how spirometry is done.

Dr. L was very friendly and gracious and willing to help you with anything or any doubts you have you were free to ask him

I did two rotations in psychiatry with ACE and I'm really happy with my experience. The team is really helpful with everything from housing to changing the dates of rotation. I went to Interfaith hospital with Dr. V in Brooklyn,New York and to Medstar Harbor hospital in Cherry Hill, Baltimore with Dr. L. Both my inpatient experience were great. I also did outpatient with both doctors at their private clinics. I got hands on experience at both hospitals and clinics. Overall I loved my experience with ACE.

My clinical experience at Houston Methodist has been everything that I was looking for. Great opportunity because the doctor is very experienced, respected, in the community, and with us he’s very easy to get along with and very attentive.

Also if found the ACE staff very honest, easy to get in touch with them, really caring for our experience.

I had a wonderful time during my 2-week clinical elective in Emergency Medicine at South Shore Hospital and Provident Hospital of Cook County rotating under the direction of Dr. P in Chicago. I chose this area of medicine in order to gain exposure to a broad spectrum of acute care. I got to experience a wide variety of clinical presentations in just a few weeks and not only was I able to practice history taking and physical exams skills but Dr. P helped expand on concepts I could apply in any department, not just in the ED. Dr. P was always there to walk me through concepts and procedures whenever I needed help. I had more independence and patient interaction than I expected, which allowed me to improve my communication skills and learned to interact with other medical professionals and patients in a realistic setting. Everyone I encountered at both hospitals were very receptive and eager to share their knowledge and created a very comfortable learning environment.
