A) Bait and switch promotion. I trade my email address for $20 off first order of $200+. However, this can't be used with other coupons. Fine, but why not make that transparent upon the offer? So then I receive 3+ marketing emails per day without the ability to stop.

B) Upon consummation of the airgun purchase, I had issues with setting up a customer account--this is bc your retarded computer system would not allow the use of my email address (the system stating this email already exists and I can't use that to setup a new customer acct). I tried to resolve the issue via phone. Your phone system instructs to press 1 for sales and 2 for service. the guy on the phone (whom stated he was not a customer service type but a sales type) was a royal douche. So next, the reset password link kept showing up as an expired link (although it should not have been expired within 5 minutes of receipt). I explained this to RD (royal douche) asking him for an email address so as to send him the screen shot of your website. He flat out told me he would not give me his email, seriously WTF? Nonetheless, I will NEVER trade with airgundepot.com or your sister affiliates........EVER.

The website is easy to use, there is a great selection of products across the price range and the holiday specials are very good. I received emails reminding me of my selection that I left in the cart and I was able to pick up where I left off. I finalized my selection and checked out with a problem. I had a very good experience.

I saw a bb gun that I really liked in your on line catalog. I attempted to purchase it.
I wasn't a firearm, it was a bb gun.
After 2 days, I got an email from you canceling my order. The day after I purchased it I bought a fer accessories for it. Needless to say I was upset.
If you were going to cancel my order it should have been done when I placed the order.

Tracking of this item was inconsistent and slow.

So, I did a lot of research on the air gun I wanted to get and was aware of problems it may have before ordering. I was prepared. I also looked into the company a little bit and saw a lot of bad reviews and posts about them a few years back, related mostly to them sending used items when the customer, in fact, paid for a new item. That seemed to be a resolved issue based on recent reviews and posts, or so I thought.

So, I bought the Hatsan Invader Auto. It was shipped and arrived in a timely manner, but actually it came from Pyramid Air, their sister company as it's often called. I paid for the physical check and leak test to ensure I get a functional product, at least out of the box.

When the gun arrived and I took it out of the box, I was kind of surprised because it had a clip attached to the bottom picatinny rail for connecting a shoulder strap. I thought it was strange they would want to take the time to put on a strap for just 10 test shots after the leak test, but I let it go.

I continued to physically inspect the gun and found that the crown of the barrel was all chewed up. Never saw anything like that before. Again, I'm thinking to myself, "only from the 10 shots?" But I kinda cleaned it up. There was some debris, but the damage was evident. It looked like a few hundred rounds of bad ammo or the wrong size went through the barrel, allowing it the hit the edges as it exited the barrel.

The gun did hold air as promised. But it was at 150 BAR. I believe they said they left it at 180 BAR, which would have been reasonable, considering the test fire. But 150 BAR felt much lower than it should be. Anyways, it never leaked, even after a week.

So, next, I tested some shots. I thought I had enough air to get through two magazines, 12 shots each, I think. And as I'm loading, I found that 2 out of the 3 magazines they shipped with the gun were broken. And not just a little. The spring in the magazines was not working, so it would not be able to cycle to the next round. Also, they were both cracked, stemming right from the screw in the middle, as if they were taken apart of readjusted. The screw was over tightened, pretty much shattering the plastic. So, no spring, broken plastic.

I finally get to shooting the gun with the one good magazine I had, and it looked and felt new. The others were definitely used several times over. I fired the gun about 4 times with no issue. By the 5th shot, the semi-auto stopped functioning on the rifle. This was at the 140 BAR mark, which is somewhat high for the semi-auto to stop cycling.

Now, the semi-automatic feature not functioning when the air pressure drops is a known issue with the gun, and I can't blame airgun depot for this specifically. This usually happens around 100 BAR and is not a problem per se, if it's happening around that mark. However, at 140 BAR, it is an issue, because it's almost never going to function at semi-auto if it's dropping off so early. And maybe it just needed to be broken in? But I highly doubt it. I'm fairly confident this gun was plenty broken in and passed around quite a bit.

Like I said, the clip still attached, the broken magazines, the chewed up crown on the barrel. I'm certain this is not a new rifle. After I put my shots through the gun, I didn't do any damage to it. Not one more knick.and I did about 10 shots total. I cocked each shot for about 5 more. It shot alright, just not how it was supposed to.

And I did get a mostly full refund, but the let down is massive for a toy like that. And the time and energy wasted. Not to mention all the money spent on other accessories for the gun, which will have to be put to use later.

Just be aware, because I'm sure they will keep shipping that same gun to other people until someone decides to just keep it and fix it or doesn't care enough to do anything about it.

Had just what I was looking for. Ordering was easy and shipping was fast.

I ordered a JTS AirStryke along with some pellets, bipods and O-rings for my scope. Instead of informing me that they were out of stock, I was allowed to place my order THEN after I paid i was informed that the rifle was on back order. Not a big issue normally but everything is dependent upon receiving the rifle. It's a Christmas gift preferåble BEFORE Christmas. I called today and customer service doesn't know when they'll get additional AirStryke rifles. I put alot of research into placing this order. Probably would have gone elsewhere if i knew it wouldnt arrive by Christmas.

Ordered two tins of pellets and some "in stock" 1" scope rings. Pellets showed up, scope rings didn't. Apparently the rings are going to be shipped separately at a later date. Can't get a tracking number or shipping info. Just have to wait. Odd that they wouldn't ship 2 tins of pellets and a set of scope rings in the same box. Less boxes=lower shipping costs for everyone involved.
