Apetito, at first glace, may seem just like any other meals on wheels company. In fact, they offer so much more than food. Each delivery driver, makes sure that the person receiving their food is OKAY. It's a welfare check. It only takes a few minutes, but it's always done. When they arrive, if there is no answer at the door and entry cannot be gained, they phone the person listed on their paperwork, as the next of kin or person to contact in case of a problem. It's giving you a heads up that there may be a problem. If, as in most cases, the door is answered, they carry the hot food into the kitchen and place it on the side. The food is prepared in a nutritious way and there is no skimping on the size if the portions. A wide and varied menu is available to choose from and if you have any dietary or religious restrictions, these can be easily catered for with just a phone call to the offices where, a team of dedicated helpers are on hand to help you arrange your requirements to your full satisfaction. There are many other meals on wheels services, but having seem Apetito first hand, I recommend their services and am happy to give them a 5 star rating.

Very good service, customer service advisors are always friendly and helpful. The food is also delicious and there is a huge range of choice. Would highly recommend.

The Salvation Army has been working with Apetito for over 10 years supplying meals for residents in our older people's care homes. Their meals are tasty and nutritious and there is also a huge variety to choose from. The dedicated customer support we receive from Apetito is also second to none!

The meals my mum has have either been wrong or burnt to the bottom of the dish. I have phoned on several occasions and they have promised to not charge for them, but this has never happened and the receipt still shows the charge. They just don't do anything to help. Most of mums meals go in the bin, but we have no other choice.

Our care company has used Apetito for all our care homes for over 2 years now. The Residents enjoy the food the the choice given. The food is nutritious and tasty and weight loss in residents has reduced.

Fantastic company with amazing products.

The IDDSI range is brilliant, its very reassuring to have such excellent well prepared puree meals as well as all the other products.

Everything from the training they provide to the online ordering and to receiving the delivery is the very best.

My CDM Paul Drye is brilliant to work with. His communication is excellent and is always on hand to help with any inquiry I have.

apetito have a good variety of meals and desserts to choose from. The residence i care for suffer with dysphasia and diabetes also some have high blood pressure etc.
I don't have time to cook everything from scratch all the time so apetito has been a bit of a god send.

Apetito with the coordination from Paul Dyer have been an absolute 'God send' since implementation that took place during the pandemic lockdown. Apetito give us reassurance of continuity of high quality provision throughout troubling times. They have taken a huge worry away from us. We have been able to train a wider range of the team to provide support during these unpredictable times.

We cannot fault the Apetito service in any way. From the account manager, the ordering of food and the delivery - the service is excellent.
There is a great range of foods which also cater for food allergies extremely well. The website is very clear and easy to use, allowing for easy flexibility of order values. We would, and have previously, recommended Apetito to other Day Nurseries who may be looking to source outside caterers.
A fantastic company to deal with.

We have been using Apetito for a short while now before the pandemic outbreak. We have found their food service most helpful throughout this difficult time. The food has proved cost-effective when managing our monthly outgoings. Apetito have also helped to monitor the cost and have provided us with a spend-cap, should we spend anything over our initial monthly budget. A few months ago we hit a brick wall and due to a lack in kitchen staff, we ended up ordering similar meals repetitively, but our Account Manager, Paul Drye was able to identify this and get in touch with us. Paul is a great trainer and we can contact him at anytime with any concerns we have. We highly recommend him, he is such an affable chap and is very approachable. We have since been given a tasting day and help with updating our menus. On the whole I advocate for Apetito meals and in particular the nutritional value they provide for our Residents.

The customer service is outstanding at Apetito. We enjoy the wonderful food and meals and feel there is a huge choice of meal options. We are delighted with every aspect of the food delivery.

FANTASTIC SERVICE
We have used Apetito for almost 3 years and we cannot say enough about how good their customer service, deliveries and especially their food are. We are a 42 place nursery and we feed children main lunch and pudding Monday to Friday. Apetito provide a varied and highly nutritious menu which our children love. They have solved our problem of the cook having time off or annual leave. Anyone is able to pop their prepared meals into the oven. Their guidelines and record keeping templates make cooking as easy and hassle free as can be. Their teams throughout their company are professional and friendly and solve any problem they may crop up. We are extremely happy and would highly recommend any nursery setting to use them.
