I'm really sorry to hear that your experience with us didnât live up to expectations â thatâs absolutely not how we want anyone to feel after ordering from Bindia.
I had a look at your order, and youâre right â you received one extra portion of rice and one extra naan. That was simply a packing mistake on our side, and Iâm really sorry for the mix-up. You werenât charged for the extras, but I completely understand how it might have added to the confusion.
About the Butter Chicken â we use standard boxes for all dishes, where the rice portion is around 300 grams and the Butter Chicken is approximately 450 grams in total. Out of that, the chicken itself typically weighs between 140â160 grams. I checked with the kitchen, and they confirmed that your portion was packed according to our usual standard. Still, Iâve asked them to be extra careful with the distribution, especially during busy hours.
As for the pricing- the menu prices when ordering Delivery orders is different from pick up orders that you order & pay at bindia.dk. The pick- up orders are approx. 25% cheaper. So in the future, I would recommend you to select pickup when ordering.
Though we cannot undo the experience, Iâve sent you a 10% gift card which you have missed in your first time order in case youâd like to give us another try.

Had my family for a gathering and we ordered 9 dishes and a few side dishes- the quality was superb and always made with high quality meat.

Delicious partly organic/ bio Indian food
We preordered at their SÞborg antenna, which offers a nice discount when picking up takeaway, and everyone (including our 6 year old) thoroughly enjoyed their food! I also really appreciate the ownersâ focus on sustainability: 30-60% of ingredients are sourced organic, certified by a label. They use windmill electricity only and are making efforts to support animal welfare.

I am really sorry if our food did not meet your expectations! The Chicken Tikka Masala that you ordered is a universal dish and have lots of different versions. Ours is definitely adjusted to fit the native Danish crowd, that makes up most of our customer base. We do however have an extensive menu with a range of rich, strong and flavourful options. May I recommend trying a dish with a bit more kick? For example the Madras or the Coconut Tamarind curry?
A taste of authentic Indian cuisine in Copenhagen
Coming from South Africa, where Indian cuisine is deeply cherished, I often find that Indian food in Denmark is adapted to a milder palate. My taste buds crave bold spices and rich flavours, so discovering Bindiaâand its wonderfully accommodating owner, Amerâwas an absolute delight.
The butter chicken is, without a doubt, my favourite. I tend to stick to one dish, and I was thrilled to see it prepared the way it should beâvibrant orange, not the strange pink Iâve encountered elsewhere! The flavour is incredible, perfectly balanced, and without the excess oil that sometimes dulls the experience.
Beyond the food, the service at Bindia is outstanding. The staff is warm and welcoming and always eager to go the extra mile. The quality of food, attention to detail, and level of customer care at Bindia are truly second to none.
Well done, Bindia, for serving authentic Indian cuisine in Copenhagen. Iâll definitely be back!
