I am writing this review following a very disappointing return experience. I purchased a Christmas gift valued at $180 USD, but as it didnât fit, I initiated a return on January 9th. According to Parcelforce tracking (of which I have photographic proof), the package was successfully delivered to their local depot.
Despite this evidence, the company claims they never received it. I have spent months in a frustrating back-and-forth email chain with Toby Logue trying to resolve this. The last communication I received was on February 10th, 2025, and since then, I have been met with total silence. To date, I still have not received my refund. If you are shopping from outside the UK, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere, as their "support" for international returns is non-existent.

I received a 15% discount code off my first item.. Didn't work.
Uni days discount code.. Didn't work.
Blue light card discount.. Didn't work.
Even when im on their website discount code keeps popping up.. Doesn't work.
These codes didn't work of sale or full price items.
I don't believe ANY of the codes works and this is just to entice you onto their page.
I have reported my concerns to Trading Standards.

I was bought a wrap for my 70th birthday with swarski diamonds on it, I used the wrap on a cruise 3 evenings and the wrap had worn in two places, I sent it back and they said that they could not resell it, I did not want a refund I wanted a new wrap, the customer service is disgusting and I have now been ignored after writing to the director, I have told the person who purchased the wrap and they will not be purchasing any more products from them.

Scarf the wrong colour and no refund on return
I ordered a cashmere scarf to take on holiday. It was promised by a certain date- but the date kept getting put back. It eventually arrived just in time- but it was not blue as the photograph and the description indicated. I communicated with them about a return and refund and sent the scarf back. I have not received the promised refund nor any further communication about the return. This was not a cheap scarf and the customer service has been extremely disappointing. I feel like I have been scammed because I do not live in the UK.

I recently had mixed experiences with Black.co.uk. On one hand, I had a fantastic visit to their Shrewsbury store where Molly provided excellent, friendly service. She was very knowledgeable and helped me find the right products among a wide selection. However, I've encountered some challenges with their online service. There have been delays with refunds and occasional order cancellations without explanations. Additionally, customer service communication could be improved. Despite these issues, the in-store shopping experience was delightful, and I would still recommend visiting for their friendly staff and great product range. Overall, I give Black.co.uk four stars for their commendable in-store service, although the online processes could use some improvement.

It didnât actually match what I needed it to so very sadly returned it. The refund process was seamless.
No complaints, great little company and Iâll return when I next need that type of scarf.

They have been sitting on my refund for the past two weeks. This is not the first time. The last time I had to call them and only then did they refund. They told me to take the tracking number and go to the post office and sort it out. I have returned it and have proof of returns. It is their responsibility to retrieve it , they are sitting on my refund. The only company that has issues with refund all other items returned the same day from other companies have already been refunded.
I would not give even one star if there was anything lesser !

I visited the Shrewsbury store and had excellent and very friendly service from Molly. She was very knowledgable about the products I purchased and was so helpful and nice. I recommend this store as there is plenty of choice to suit all price ranges and the staff, especially Molly, were welcoming, friendly and above all, knowledgable about the products they are selling....without the horrors of a hard sell!
Two different shoes and two different size in the box
I bought trekking shoes at their shop in Inverness. When I was back at home (in Belgium) I opened the box and I saw that they put two different shoes from two different sizes.
I called their customer service and they told me that I had to check the box in the shop. In other words thatâs my fault.

Very bad customer service beware when ordering if your parcel is left outside and stolen you still have to pay even with all the relevant evidence. Customer service emails just come across as robotic responses. Would much rather pay a bit more via third party sites and receive better customer service if there is a problem stay away from this robbing company

Was greeted by Chris who works in Skipton blacks outlet. Told him what I was looking for in walking boots.He was so helpful and obviously knew what he was talking about. After trying a few different boots on with his knowledge I soon was able to pick the right boot for me. Even if there was anything wrong with the boots I had to just go back and they would sort the problem out. Excellent service. Would definitely recommend this shop and staff.

Went to Lincoln store (091). Wanted boots and âtopsâ. Succumbed to the fleece shirts. Stuart helped immediately with changing room and sorting the two purchases whilst I went upstairs.
