Having been dependant on ‘other’, unreliable hearing aids tor years, I decided to go for a hearing test at Carmarthen Boots Hearing Care store. Following he test, the audiologist set up a pair of Phonak aids for me, and as soon as they were fitted I could notice the difference! It felt as if I was deaf even when wearing the previous hearing aids, The Phonaks were crystal clear and the sound was well balanced! This audio experience was equal to the visual experience of being able to see again following Cataract surgery. Lauren, the Boots Audiologist was excellent!

I’m highly delighted with the service received from Boots Hearing Care, Carmarthen not to mention the joy of being able to hear clearly again!

Hearing aid purchased and fitted on a Thursday. Excellent service. Unfortunately, it stopped working the following day. Followed the information leaflet instructions but still can't get it to work. Waiting for shop to advise on problem.

Both audiologists I saw ( Lauren and Nicola) were very helpful,patient, friendly and understanding.

I was very nervous going to this test. But the audiologist Cathy was marvellous, she explained everything to me before the test. Which made me relax, all through the test Cathy was so nice. After the test she went through all the different hearing aids, and helped to choose one was suitable. I would highly recommend Cathy she was so lovely.

Oh Dear!
Boots hearing care withdrew their service from Aberystwyth about 18months ago and so I am required to travel 50 miles to Carmarthen to my now ‘local’ store. No reason given.
I wrote to their head office expressing my disappointment but have no reply.
Agreed appointments have been changed without consultation or apology.
And to cap it all, I have just had one of my aids repaired and they have no facility to post it to me, expecting me to travel 100 miles round trip just merely to pick it up from the reception counter!
The staff have always been helpful friendly and professional but are working for a company that seems to have little regard for customer service.
I am afraid I will not be using this service again

Nicola at Carmarthen Boots was excellent, a lovely young lady who was so good at her job, helpful and friendly, a pleasure to see her on appointments.

Excellent service. Everything fully explained and very impressed by all the tests carried out and the care to programme the aids exactly for me. No pressure to get me to buy hearing aids. It helped that the person dealing with me also had hearing problems and wore hearing aids.

An experienced audiologist, knowledgeable and professional.
