My whole experience with Michael Ridley at Boots in Newcastle upon Tyne was five star.

Have seen 3 different people before being fitted with a hearing aid. Each one was extremely helpful and I have now been fitted with a hearing aid which I am sure will enhance my life

Everything was explained from start to finish. We were informed of every test being done, and we were given time to choose what we wanted.

The service I received in store was great, very informative and I had my hearing aid within a few weeks. However, I have only had it a few months and the catch has broke that holds the battery, not what I expected after spending so much money on the more expensiver version! An appointment is needed to discuss fixing this and as I don't work in Newcastle, unless I take a day off work, I can't get an appointment for nearly 3 weeks. I assume I'll then have to wait for it to be fixed. I was given the impression it would be simple if something went wrong, how wrong that impression was! My annual check up has also been cancelled and trying to rebook on the app is not working either. Such a pity as first impressions were great, but now my husband is having to cope with and TV and all the other annoying things associated with hearing loss. Once I've paid it off I'll be looking elsewhere.

The staff were most helpful, and I didn’t feel hurried.
