Great customer service

I had an excellent experience buying my used car from Brayley Honda Hemel Hempstead, largely thanks to Aamar.

Before the sale, he was extremely helpful and gave me clear and detailed information about the car. This was my first time buying a used car in the UK, so I was unfamiliar with many aspects of the process. Aamar made everything very easy to understand and explained both the advantages and the possible risks fairly and transparently. I never felt pressured at any stage.

During the purchase, he made the whole experience incredibly relaxed and comfortable. After I bought the car, he also spent plenty of time showing me how everything worked and gave me a detailed introduction to the vehicle.

I have bought more than 10 cars in the past, in different circumstances, and I can genuinely say I have never had such a positive car-buying experience.

Aamar is professional, trustworthy, patient and genuinely focused on the customer. I would highly recommend both him and Brayley Honda Hemel Hempstead.

I gave the car to Brayleys for a service and MOT. The MOT was done first by another company, and had an advisory "cooling fan partially seized". This was interpreted by Brayleys as completely seized, and they were encouraging me to let them fit a new fan at over £800. I said no, and took the car home. When I looked, there was a wire touching the fan blades and making a noise. I moved that out of the way and the fan worked perfectly saving me more than £800. So, why did they not investigate the fault before trying to book the car in for a replacement fan?

The Service department (Andy Lobo) always goes over and beyond to ensure the service me and my family receive is exceptional.
The reason we will not go anywhere else, is purely because of the relationship we have and if Andy did move on to any other company - we would follow him.
I have been going to Honda Romford since 2012, since we bought a used Honda Civic and the technicians there, have always been great and had good communication.

I went to Brayleys Honda today as I had a problem with the electric wing mirrors not folding or able to be adjusted on my Honda CRV. I asked if someone could have a quick look at the mirrors & give me a rough idea of the repair cost. I was told that there was only 1 'technician' in the building & that I would have to book it in at a later date for an investigation at a cost of £180 to tell me what was wrong with it. I asked the receptionist if he was joking, but was told that was the cost of an investigation. I would have thought in 2026 at a main Honda dealership somebody somewhere in the building would be able to spare me a few minutes of their time, show some interest & try to help. Sadly today at Brayley's common sense & customer service appear to be a thing of the past. On my way home I stopped at a small independent garage to see if they could have a look, in 3 minutes he found the problem, gave me a rough idea of the cost & my car is now booked in for the work to be done in 3 weeks time. Over the years I have taken my CRV to Brayleys Honda several times for servicing etc & have had no problems, but after today I will never use them again.
