Since Broadcom took over VMWare is has turned to absolute garbage. What a greedy bunch of grubs this company is.

Utterly unusable website. Completely impossible to perform even the most basic of tasks.

Worst website I have seen.

Should not be allowed to handle certifications. Made error in retiring certificates then after rebuild, made another by issuing incorrect certificate

Broadcom engineers Varanasi pretends to help you but instead knocked me out unconscious and tried to murder me. Later I filed a lawsuit please see Tai vs Varanasi. The judge rules rape is legal in America. What a shame!

broadcom is the worst support-experience i made in the last 20years.

since broadcom took over the support and update policy on vmware is just crap and shit!

VMWare should have never been purchased by Broadcom. I did not know that such a dysfunctional company as Broadcom existed. It has been migration mess for a better part of the year, and now Broadcom has disabled automatic updates for VMWare's Fusion Pro products.

the worst company support in the world and the support site is worthless. I've been trying to find a link to download "VMware Remote Console" for about an hour, I register an account, I try to contact the support service, but it's all bullshit.

I've just created an account and can't even log in? I didn't missspell anything. I just made it and it won't even let me log in. How terrible.

Broadcom's website and online support services would have to be the worst I have ever encountered, it's truly a disgrace and so damaging to VMware (the product I wanted support for). It's actually hard to believe that any modern organisation could make a support experience this terrible, it's astonishing!

On 30 december in the chat they lied about deleting my account, I never got the confirmation they said I would get. And now doing a account deletion via email is difficult. Broadcom is hoping I forget or give up.

Its 16 may and they responded and I got a confirmation email, they're finally deleting my account. It's 21 may and I got a email that it's finally deleted.

If there is a less than one they would get it! I have worked with VMware products for over 15 years and have never had such awful support. The third party offloads have been atrocious!

Terrible from the company. I hope it will fail if it is such a bad business.

Malheureusement, je ne peux qu'aller dans le sens des commentaires négatifs. Le site n'est absolument pas navigable. Pour la connexion, l'inscription, la gestion du profil, c'est une véritable farce. Les fonctionnalités ne sont même pas testés. J'ai un tiret sur mon prénom et sur des formulaires préremplis, le formulaire m'indique que les tirets ne sont pas pris en charge alors qu'il a été complété automatiquement et impossible de le modifier car c'est grisé. Plein de petites choses qui ne donnent pas envie d'utiliser leur produit et de partir chez la concurrence. Même leur formulaire d'assistance part en erreur donc en cas de problème, pas de problème pour eux car on ne peut rien leur envoyer. Les moyens pour les contacter ne permet pas de les joindre directement mis à part par téléphone. Je ne vois aucun mail pour les contacter pour leur signaler quoi que ce soit. Franchement déçu depuis le rachat de VMWARE par BROADCOM. Les politiques tarifaires et les gros changement sur les sites web rendent l'expérience plus que mauvais et même désagréable.

Worst experience in my lifetime with IT company. Services are so bad I had to find alternatives for my clients. Website navigation is so awful. you will never find what are you looking for.

I read that VMware Workstation Pro was now free so I followed the link to download and was presented with instructions that I was required to register for a account before I could download the application. Given that its free to most users and Broadcom provides no direct support other then a community forum. I was annoyed that I needed a user account providing personal informal like name address and phone number. Not to mention my experience with the application has not been very good. This is running Windows 11 24h2 as host and running Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS. I wont continue to use it and Broadcom does not provide a self help means to delete my account either. I did read some bad stories about VMware after Broadcom purchase. But I thought by now those would be ironed out. It is nice to see VmWare workstation and Fusion for Mac's as a free offering but apparently its at the expense of providing no real support.
