Alys and the staff at Hay and Brecon were Great. The move went well. HOWEVER Chancellors is OVER CENTRALISED and ASK TOO MUCH (and immaterial) INFORMATION OFF PROSPECTIVE TENANTS WHICH THEN SEEMS TO BE TRANSFERRED TO VARIOUS VENDORS WHO COMMENCE COLD CALLING. Im not sure this is legal and is certainly not welcome nor good practice. If there was one reason I would not engage Chancellors again for future lets this would be it.

The service we have been offered so far has been outstanding. The agent has been helpful and often preempts some of our queries. Although we have not found the ideal property so far, we are hopeful that with her assistance this might be possible in the future. I hope to write more positively about the purchase of our first property in the near future.

Angharad introduced me to the property that im buying, she was excellent at providing enough information for me at the time and allowed me to 'take in' the house without chatting too much.! Angharad was excellent in dealing with my uncertainty at the outset of the purchase and remained calm and collected even though i beleived i couldnt afford the property and was intending to drop out of thetransaction ..however she was able to negotiate with the vendor and i am now purchasing at a very reasonable reduction. So full marks to Angharad and thankyou.Joy R

We’re pleased with the service we got at chancellors, especially from Angharad in the Brecon branch. I work shifts as a nurse and it’s not possible to answer my phone when Angharad rings with regular updates but she managed to keep us in the loop with regular E mails. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I have been using Chancellors to help me find a property in my move from Taunton to Brecon.
During that time I have found the staff to be professional, engaged and interested in my move.
Whilst viewing recently the agent was extremely pro-active in enabling me to view a property that was signed to another agency. As I was only in Brecon for the day this was extremely helpful, and since then I have put an offer on the property. This flexibilty is essential for success in any company.
