My wife is retiring from her job in Norfolk, and as I'm already retired we wanted to return home to Herefordshire. Our beloved Herefordshire with the beautiful mountains of Wales, the warmth of the area and fabulous countryside. I was born in Hereford and grew up there and my wife is from Worcestershire but spent so much time in Hereforshire.
As she was retiring we thought we should find a temporary rental near here in Norfolk, before trying to find a dream home so far away.
But a miracle happened, a telephone call that changed everything. Jane Carter of Chancellors, Hay 0n Wye rang me as we were losing hope and from then on gave us our dream. Jane found the perfect bungalow in a beautiful hamlet of Herefordshire. She work hard and in such a short time we will be living in our dream home.

Jane Carter from the Hay on Wye office has been responsible for finding new tenants for our property portfolio for over 18 months now. During this time, we have found Jane to be professional, responsive to any issues or concerns that we might have and, more generally, very experienced in the private rented sector. Consequently, she has been able to advise us on current market rental values, tenant selection and has also been very helpful dealing with some challenging issues with some of our existing tenancies.

Jane now understands what is important to us in terms of tenant profiles which means that we are now confident in her ability to find new tenants for us. We can also recommend the pre- tenancy referencing process utilised by Chancellors which includes a credit record check together with financial checks to confirm affordability, ID and current address checks. As a result, we have been very happy with all of the tenancies that Jane has arranged for us.

Chris was approachable and welcoming as an estate agent and knew enough knowledge about the property. The extra details about the property were a nice touch. My only recommendation would be to print the information leaflets about the property in colour. As the black and white photos lost a lot of the detail.
