On the most recent let, Betsy at Chancellors (Newbury) was extremely diligent when managing the exit of a tenant that had left the property in a very poor condition... It was impressive that Betsy managed to secure the maximum deposit allocation to go towards the damage incurred. After starting a search for a property to relocate to Newbury I hadn't had a great experience with other agents until I came across Chancellors...hoorah!! Abbey has been fantastic, very understanding and empathetic of my circumstances & has made finding a property a pleasure. We are planning to move to Newbury in a few months and had the pleasure of viewing a property for rent about a 15min walk from the rail station. The representative arrived early, which is always a good sign. She was able to take us through the property, show us the main selling points and point out what to expect from living in the area, as well as what was nearby for recreational purposes. Polite and detailed in her responses to our questions and she thoroughly engaged with us throughout the experience. Though the property was not what my wife and I were looking for, we have booked more bookings which will come to the market soon, which Vassna made us aware of. Vassna Willcock is a gem and should be seen as a great representation of the business. I trusted her and would be more than happy to rent from Chancellors, knowing that she was around.
