Katie Adam’s has been amazing with the help of arranging my tenancy. Her communication and help on any questions or issues that I had were brilliant, she kept me in the loop constantly regarding any matters and made the experience for myself great. She reassured me with any stress or worries I had after waiting a while to be able to get into the new property. I can’t thank her enough for all of her help.

Chancellors has been by far the most unprofessional letting agency that I ever had to deal with. When setting up the contract the staff already produced an absolute mess of documentation. Throughout the letting process they would do fun things like sending warnings about payments that contradict their own contracts. When ending a letting agreement they take multiple months to transfer back the deposit. Generally speaking all staff members one interacts with seem incompetent. I do not understand how this agency could have possibly produced a service that was anywhere close to satisfaction as other reviewers seem to report.

Provided me with numerous options relating to how I could put into place the tenancy for my flat.

Chancellors organised the Tenancy as well as the checks on my flat ASAP. Very efficient and excellent communication with me throughout these difficult stages of my matter.

Leilana has made our process through the rental application so easy and straight forward, she’s been prompt with replies, answered any questions we may have and has kept us updated. Will definitely be recommending chancellors

I had such a unique experience with Danielle Archer in the process of renting an apartment in East Oxford. Not only did her professionalism, calmness, and prompt responses/updates made me feel like an important customer but also totally changed my opinion about staff attitude and work ethics of Chancellors as a letting agency.

Danielle and Dylan have been fantastic throughout the process of looking for a new rental. Through initial looking stage Dylan supported us with finding the right property and through the initial drawing up of the tenancy negotiations, Danielle kept us fully informed at all times and promptly. If you are a landlord - rather manage your property yourself than deal with this organisation. I have dozens of emails extending over. period of years which they simply fail to respond to (other than saying they are "looking in to the matter" and then I never hear from them again). They are still holding onto our deposit which in spite of a court order agreeing to its release, they refuse to refund as part settlement of the very substantial damage caused to our flat which they managed.
PS.I note the apology from the directors. Yet I have sent many emails to them in recent years, in response to which they promise to investigate- but nothing ever happens. And the branch in question tells me they have many landlords with similar unhappy experiences- which does make me question how they manage to achieve so many favourable reviews.
