Chancellors is meticulous in all they do. Chancellors has a wonderful team, I appreciate Lauren Bush and
Noorulhuda Shah for accompanying us throughout the process of renting our accommodation. They responded to every questions we asked and clarified our doubts and concerns every step of the way. We were regularly updated on everything concerning the accommodation. I hail your professionalism and excellent communication system. Long live Chancellors, you make property renting very easy.

I want to share my experience to help other landlords avoid the situation I’m currently in. When I first signed up with Chancellor, I genuinely believed I was entering a straightforward three-year agreement. After those three years—and after what I felt was consistently poor service—I decided not to continue with them.
Only then was I told that the contract requires me to keep paying letting fees annually and in advance for as long as my current tenants stay in the property. This was never something I expected, and had I realised the long-term financial commitment involved, I would have approached the agreement very differently.
To be clear, I don’t want to evict my tenants—they’ve made the property their home. But being tied into ongoing fees long after the initial term has ended has left me extremely disappointed.
My advice to any landlord considering Chancellor is simple: read every clause carefully and seek independent advice before signing anything, especially around renewal charges and fees linked to the duration of a tenancy. I wish someone had warned me.

Chancellors have found a good staff member.

Poor communication, invoiced for a service not provided, apparently no communication between central and the branch resulting in duplication of tenant information requests.
Other estate agents have issued invitations to landlords for interviews regarding the tenants rights bill, no such invitation was received from Chancellors, despite being a long term customer.
Chancellors seem to have lost the personal touch and their whole performance on this occasion seems to be more like just going through the motions.
