Having missed our first phone call from Chancellors, it did take 2 more days of calling to get back in contact with them; however, once we had established a line of communication, our agent Jack Knight has been a stellar help. He has kept us very tightly in the loop of our house hunt, calling us at least once a day with even the smallest updates which made the whole process feel swift and comfortable. Even as we move on to the final stages of organising our tenancy, there is a real sense of security in knowing we have Jack on our side!

Fantastic back and forth between customer and estate agent. Jack Knight was available at seemingly all hours of the day, able to give constructive help, and quick responses in order to streamline the experience of finding and sorting out a place to rent. After dealing with many estate agents, the effort and attention to detail shown so far here was above and beyond.

Excellent experience with Amy at Chancellors Summertown. Proactive, incredibly responsive, super friendly and helpful.

This time is the first moving we have ever moved in the UK. We have no idea how to move and moving in the UK is so difficult foe me as a foreigner. We found the property on rightmove website and asked Chancellors to view it. First, Ms Amy let us view it. She was really friendly and kind and Mr Eoin coworked with her and handled the rest of proceeding. As I said, I was somehow nervous and I asked so many questions to them. Both of them was so patient and replied to every questionI had asked. And Mr Eoin is very trustworthy and Ms Amy is also reliable. I am very content with them as well as their services.

Everything was perfect until we moved in.
▪make sure you have a break clause in your contract, otherwise the agency protects the landlors, not tenants, even if the property is unfit for human habitation (mould in every room) and the agency failed it's obligations.
▪ we found out a massive mould growing behind the bedroom wardrobes (+ under kitchen and bathroom sinks and under living room wallpaper)
▪️The property was not cleaned to the professional standard (including spider webs in the windows and stains on the floor) which was the term in our tenancy agreement.
▪ Kitchen appliances were not working (including hanging wires behind the oven that made electrical sparks and - as the contractor said - were dangerous)
▪ Unprofessional and chaotic: after 3 weeks of emailing and calling every day we still don't have garage keys and apartment repairs are still not finished making us unable to unpack and use the whole property (which while paying nearly £1000 a month feels like a joke).
▪ to sum up they were great until we signed the contract. Now we have to remind them for more than few weeks to repair things that they have missed during property inspection.
