Brilliant experience
Karen Ford at Charleston was brilliant and got me a commercial mortgage , she was very patient with me aswell as I had some issues with a solicitor, She got my offer extended and re done when needed. Also Franchesca from completions was brilliant to deal with. I will certainly be using these again in my next project

Awful company - wasted 7 months of our time and Thousands in survey fees
awful company. misleading, took over 6 months just to get a decison. poor communications

dear James, thanks for your default automated response. unfortunately due to such a torturous and traumatic experience i would not be using your company ever again.
And i would advise any one to think twice especially like us who trusted Charleston's to a do a good job when they have clearly failed us. we have spent £1700 in survey fees and 7 months of waiting for a decision and we are a financially sound organization
Your advisers (Scot Kearney ) initally told us they would have a result in January 2025, after taking on our application in sept/October, when i queried this with our new adviser (Nikki cutler) she told us they had been optimistic for a January decision and put it back another 12 weeks. she said we would receive feedback for our successful application in 24-48 hours in February, this actually took 6 WEEKS, and only after i had to physically call to find out what was happening with our case.
it takes weeks for your agents to give feedback and updates this despite us providing everything that was required first time
I WOULD URGE ANYONE TO THINK TWICE ABOUT USING YOUR COMPANY AFTER SUCH A POOR EXPERIENCE MYSELF AND ESPECIALLY IF THEY DO NOT WISH TO WAIT FOR MONTHS ON END WHILST PAYING THOUSANDS FOR SURVEYS AND RECEIVING VERY POOR COMMUNICATION AND FEEDBACK.

the mortgage offer was well within…mortgage completion TVS
the mortgage offer was well within acceptable terms and the follow up with the lender , solicitors and our admin team was very proactive . The Charleston team drove the whole process very well till completion.

Abul took time to understand his customer. Well done.
Abul took time to understand our situation and actively sought providers for what is accepted to be a difficult proposal. Abul could have said this is too difficult, but he didn't. Due to our company setup, finding willing lenders is not easy. He took time to collate all the facts to find the best proposal over a couple of weeks.
