Cold control recently installed a new air conditioning system to three bedrooms in our house.

We are delighted with the quality of the work and how well the system works. The installation took 2 days and the engineers worked really hard to complete the work and tidy up leaving no mess at all.

The whole team we worked with at Cold Control were a pleasure to deal with from the initial consultation, installation team and the post installation support.

I had one of their units installed at my property. They were incredibly helpful and responsive from the time I first contacted them regarding a quote. The install went very smoothly and they did a better job than I expected given where the unit had to be installed. I would definitely use them again.

Coldcontrol were very quick to come out and assess the problem. Once they established what needed to be done, they provided a quote and kept in contact to discuss timings and availability, working on our schedule, not theirs. The two engineers, Charlie and Roger were fantastic, really friendly, informative and polite the two days they were here, a real credit to the company.

Very poor service. It took an unreasonably long time to get a response, and after making the payment, it took over a week for a technician to arrive. If you’re running a business, do not rely on them — they are completely unreliable. I tried contacting them but received no response at all.

Reliable in delivering the plan of action which they communicate very well since the beginning. I would happily recommend them.

Reasonably priced, very helpful and professional.
Ordered the aircon unit and installed within 3 weeks.
Great job and after having the cold air now using it for heating.

Aggressive, tail gaiting, dangerous and rude driver. You don’t want to use this company which has this kind of person work for them!

From the start to the finish, the experience with Cold Control has been very friendly, professional and "can do".
We have been renovating our house completely over the past 6+ months and some companies have been a pleasure, others a nightmare.

Cold Control deliver exactly what they say they will do and the job completed very professionally with a very neat appearance, will happily continue to use the company to service our units.

Heat pump installation to an outbuilding. The product is great and is working well. Installation crew was efficient, polite and tidy. Very pleased so far.

I enquired about an air conditioning unit for my lounge and dining room - a young man attended within 2 - 3 days, I received a quotation which was reasonable, requested them to proceed and 5 days later (including a weekend) I was sitting enjoying a new atmosphere that they have created ! the 2 young men who attended my apartment, were pleasant, amenable, polite and obviously competent !
I was very impressed !

Engineers are great but other parts of the business very disappointing. I have 2 Freezers that needed repairing, first one they ordered incorrect parts 3 times, took months to sort out. Second freezer at the moment a month and counting, first compressor they sent was wrong now the 2nd compressor, the Engineer has installed and its faulty it’s literally shaking the tiles in my kitchen when the freezer is switched on. Now I have to wait for a third compressor to be sent onsite. They’ve wasted 2 freezer’s worth of supplies, and they just ignore me whenever I ask for compensation for wasted time and supplies. Let’s see what they do now.

the quote was very competitive for 2 rooms with daikin units which are whisper quiet. Work too just over 3 days as there was a small issue which was resolved quickly the following day and the engineers were super friendly and knowledgeable.

From initial quotation to installation everything was first class and could not fault the quality of the products or the installation in any way. We have used the units for both air conditioning and heating and they are amazing and very effective. All staff were professional in every way. We have no hesitation in recommending Coldcontrol, You will not be disappointed. There is currently no vat on the supply of the units or the installation so this was an added bonus.

We had A/C installed in one of the bedrooms which consisted of an external and internal unit. From initial survey and quote to the installation, it was seamless, quick and easy. Would definitely use ColdControl again.

Excellent communication and workmanship. Even with a few delays the way it was handled by the team was excellent.

Asked Daikin for their local installer to us. Got a very quick reply from Coldcontrol, no problems very quick visit from estimater, excellent communication and good advice. Installed two units within 10 days, very quick very clean work and instant details. So impressed decided to put a unit in lodge that s used as a holiday let. Had a one day empty 5 days after requested estimate. All installed on that day with no problems and again very clean work, no,rubbish, and excellent communication.

After requesting a quote from Cold Control to install air-conditioning in two bedrooms and following a visit by their representative, my experience with the company went rapidly downhill, as they failed to satisfactorily answer questions that I asked relating to the installation, culminating in a very arrogant and dismissive email from the company's MD, saying they no longer wished to progress my potential order, inferring that my questions were "hassle" and dismissing my potential order (approximate value £4,000) as a "little job". My strong advice would be to avoid the company and engage with another supplier/installer that understands what good customer service is and is willing to engage, courteously, to ensure the customer fully understands the installation process.

What an astonishing and totally misleading reply from the company. There was absolutely no 'regret' referred to in the dismissive email that I received from the company's MD but, as I said previously, inference that my questions as to proposed installation of the air-conditioning were "hassle" which the company had apparently no time for, given it was, as they stated a "little job".
It is also a very interesting coincidence that on the same day that the company replied to my Trustpilot review, a five star review from an individual advising that Cold Control carried out some work for them in April, suddenly appeared. Even more interesting is that the individual concerned has seemingly only ever posted four reviews, all giving one star, except for the delayed Cold Control review, where five stars was given, enabling the company to maintain a Trustpilot rating of 'Great' overall, albeit with a lower score.

Excellent service from start to finish on installation. Engineers polite & courteous throughout. Very pleased with my new A/C & may be back for another!
