Amazed by this shop. Fixed same day. Reasonable price. No booking. We turned up on a busy Saturday with a broken phone. Battery had exploded, they sorter it within 5 hours.

To preface my review, I am not writing to ‘hate’ on this repair shop; I genuinely believe that they serve other customers well and that my experience only partially reflects their capabilities as a repair shop. However, I wish to share my concerns as they are a business, but the handling of the service I received was abysmal and not up to what I expect when you hear the claims “UK’s Number 1 Repair Shop”.

I came in with a console that needed repairing. I handed said console in, and they said they’d diagnose it. They were very late communicating when to begin the repair (well past the due date given to me) and only began after I phoned them three times. After a month of me phoning them consistently and being told they would “call me back” when referring to the repair of my console. I would not be given a phone call back and instead would wait a few more days to phone again and be told the same answer. This is unprofessional service, and you’re a business which expects to keep customers informed of the repairs. This company should strongly reflect upon how they relay information from their technicians to their customers as, from my experience, it was poor and stressful. I handed the console in with a state that would turn on, but there was no Wi-Fi. After over a month of chasing, I was consistently told that it would soon be ready to collect, then said, ‘We need a few more days.’ I was told then that the device was not repairable and that they would deem it unsuccessful, and eventually, I picked it up. At this point, the device was worse after the repairs in which it would no longer even turn on, and I was now forced to sell it on the internet as it had effectively become a paperweight collecting dust with hundreds of hours of game saves lost.

Overall, the staff were very friendly, but that’s not an excuse for the terrible service. I understand the fact that they tried a repair, and it failed. Repairing components on a motherboard is tricky, and I wouldn’t necessarily put it down to the lack of knowledge by the technicians. My issue is the abysmal communication, lack of organisation, and general time for them to begin to attempt to repair your console.

Until there is an honest effort at improvement, I would avoid this place if you’re going in for a serious repair. Possibly contact the manufacturer or somewhere more reputable. My experience was negative, and it isn’t to say you won’t have a positive experience here; I believe this shop needs to seriously look at how it operates. This experience was far more stressful than any device repair I’ve ever gone through, and it’ll make me think twice before trusting a small business repair shop.

Highly recommend. Had issue where another shop put Liquid Metal in my Xbox series x when it shouldn’t be. Spoke to console clinic and they was very helpful and sorted the situation. Big thanks to Emily and James for the great service

My son found a phone and after posting on Facebook Kyle from Console Clinic messaged me straight away offering his help to try and find the owner using there database! Unfortunately, they had no record of the phone but passed it on to his partner company! I’ve always seen posts from them telling parents to let their children know that their shop is a safe haven for anyone in danger, needs parents contacting and to charge their phones! I now know 100% it’s not just for publicity but they are a genuine caring company which is very rare! Kyle was very professional and was as disappointed as I was that the owner hasn’t been found! I even got a follow up message from their employee Becky at 6:50 am today to ask if I needed anymore help! Thanks Kyle and team for your efforts! If I ever require any help with our phones etc in the future I wouldn’t go anywhere else x
