The booking engine date search doesn't work, I have just spent 20 mins trying to find somewhere and literally nothing is available for the dates I want, but I have to click in to the listing to see this! Why display unavailable properties in the list when I have specified exact dates?

What a wonderful company to work with. Their social media team in my opinion are outstanding, the best out there and such a delight to work with.

We had the pleasure of a site visit by two of the social media team who captured the most delightful footage of not only Ursabear our beautiful cabin but also Yggdrasil our Treehouse, they even found time during their visit to film Little Poro too. The exposure was insane for all three but for our cabin Ursabear, it almost broke my phone, the response was insane. Last time i checked it had received over 879K views and still climbing.

Ever since we started working with Coolstays our bookings have gone through the roof. Fantastic marketing, great exposure. Lovely people and a delight to work with. I wish i had found them earlier. Outstanding, would recommend in a heartbeat. Amazing team

I won a £200 holiday voucher from Coolstays after entering a Guardian article. I was told the voucher was redeemable for cash which suited me. However the website does not allow for this and the owner, 'Hi Tim!' , has gone silent. I'm glad I didn't actually try to use the voucher to book something. In response to Coolstays: Contrary to what Tim has said, I followed the instructions on your email, four times to be precise, then emailed you to advise of the issue. I heard no more until after you read the review. I reiterate my comment, I am relieved I did not book a holiday through Coolstays.

While there are nice places collated on this website, it's supremely difficult to actually book something! There are so few places that can be booked via Coolstays itself and almost none show their live availability. Requires so much admin on the part of the user to reach out and ask every potential place if they have availability. I wouldn't recommend anyone use it.

The voucher system was also questionable - you have to pay upfront and then you receive the refund which felt dodgy.

An absolute gem in a tropical garden. We loved every minute of our stay. The attention to detail was incredible and our hosts John and Jo were amazing.

Really find the team so easy to deal with and we get a lot of leads through CoolStays. A great platform and constantly kept up to date. Highly Recommend!

Coolstays is a great site for guests who like things a bit different and they tend to attract a really nice type of customer. I would highly recommend them.

This place would be great if it just had a decent website and live bookings/prices. As it stands the information about prices isnt clear at all, and contacting the owners is a pain (if they ever bother to reply) often they dont and when they do they seem offended you are asking about prices? Have yet to ever use them simply because of the poor booking process, despite finding many that we’d have liked to. They have replied to say people have responded. That isn’t my experience but ok.
Doesnt change the fact the website is godawful.

Ideas for you:

1) Exact prices available on webpage, along with availability. Like airbnb do.

2) Searchable record of who you have contacted with 24hr turnaround for them to connect and provide clear information.

You could have a great site. Instead you have a mediocre one with great properties. Its like a GCSE web design project right now.

The Coolstays website interface for accommodation hosts like us, is a joy to use, enabling us to promote offers and late availability. Here at Upthorpe Lodges we’re very selective about where to promote ourselves and we find that Coolstays puts us in front of the discerning guests we hope to attract.

Very disappointing when an owner refuses your stay because you didn't pay a deposit over the Christmas and new year period. Despite this we still wanted to stay for our anniversary. Very rude owner .

right from the start the team at Coolstays have been super efficient in on boarding my place onto their site. I had a couple of enquiries in the week or so I went live and after a couple of months ive had over £3500 bookings. Fantastic so far

Disgraceful website, fake deals just to get you to leave your data, which you can't unsubscribe. Fake A.I. generated replys. No feedback, and take a look at feefo's rating, no shock they gave this despicable website a platinum award. You have been warned.

I have had a great experience with Coolstays as both a host and a guest. There is always someone at the end of the phone to help and I prefer to deal with a smaller company that can take sensible decisions and give advice, rather than some of the seemingly random "computer says no" responses of the tech giants such as airbnb and vrbo.

Good attractive website, generating enquiries and bookings. Coolstays is one of the few remaining high end independents, and not being subsumed by one of the big faceless managing agent portals is a definite bonus. Paying an annual subscription is much preferable to limited owner weeks and high commission rate for people like us who prefer to run our self-catering property & bookings ourselves.

We are longterm partners of Coolstays, and after re-evaluating our marketing strategies last year, we upgraded to their top package and haven't looked back since. We get fabulous leads and returns from this and it has certainly been a worthwhile partnership that we look forwards to continuing in the years to come.

We have a number of properties listed with Coolstays and have been very pleased with the direct bookings we have received. We could never match their level of marketing being a small, independent hosting business. Their owners area login provides us with detailed performance for each of our properties and allows us to adjust the listing extremely easily. We love the new feature for "late deals" which in the current cost of living crisis, allows us to offer last minute deals to potential guests at the touch of a button.

We have been listed with coolstays since we open our holiday cottage 4 years ago and have been really happy with the number of bookings and guests we get via their website. We find they market consistently well to our ideal guest and that results in a high level of satisfaction for guests and owner. Their platform is well built and easy to use and coolstays have been quick to adapt to new market trends.
