It’s rarely straightforward and 9/10 times they are able to save me money.

I have worked with Sam at Cornerstone to file several successful SDLT refunds. They mandate collection of a strict set of documentation with certain unmovable conditions, which can be laborious and sometimes difficult to secure, but they seem to have secret sauce of expertise in this niche area none of the other advisors I enquired possess.
In short, they currently have cornered the market thus charge a high commission fee but it’s still a sizable win for their clients.
