Had experience with own insurance and dams dealing with it for me dams had courtesy car to me fast when I had like 4 day wait from my own insurance dams was like for like vehicle if not better my own tryed giving me small car when I had 7 seater absolutely no use
payment with dams went very quickly
My own seemed to take forever
My overall experience I would choose dams to deal with non fault claim the whole claim from start to finish can take long but me being inconvenience not at all thank you would highly recommend

I wish I could score a minus number - as that’s what this company deserve .
I own a car body shop and the rep approached my garage claiming to pay higher rates than the insurance companies.
I passed them 3 claims and all 3 were loyal customers to me! I have now lost these customers due to the incompetency of DAMS and the lies they tell to myself and my clients. Companies like this are the reason innocent peoples insurance policies rocket - they are nothing but thief’s !! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The customer service is very poor and hang up when they feel like it.

The guy that dropped off the car was getting in our business. Telling my wife it's illegal for me to hold her driving licence, very unprofessional

Wouldn't even give one star thier solicitors bond turner are the worst solicitors i have ever came across was involved in series car crash i got a downgrade vehicle and it was not like for like this company has messed my claim up and i recieved no compensation for my injuries as dams charged over £800 a day for a vehicle the was a downgrade to mine. I did not like the vehicle at all and asked for a Mercedes c or e class and a big company like dams did not have it and was told i will get a call when it did but i never did, now i know why as they couldn't charge 800 a day on thouse vehicle. This company does not care about there clients all they care about is making as much money from your claim and if they can't they will take your personal injury just like they did with me.

There solicitors are the worst you have to ring them at least 3x a week just to speak to someone, each time they will tell you someone will call you back but never do.

They cause you nothing but alarm and distress all through the process and whoever is thinking of using them stay well clear as they don't care about you just care about as much money they can make from your claim and leave you in depression STAY WELL CLEAR ITS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE!!!

Earlier I wrote a rather damning review about DAMS insurance. After talking to a very pleasant DAMS representative I am able to change my opinions about them. The holdup was mainly caused by the third party giving wrong details and delays caused by the third party insurers. Despite this I still think communication could have been a lot better between them, their legal team and ourselves. I have now upped their score to4 stars.

Superb service, very attentive with multiple processes running in tandem that are all joined up with the communication. Beats going through insurance without doubt. Received a fair payment and a courtesy car was on the drive the next day. Would definatly use gain. Customer service at its best.

EXCELLENT SERVICE! AFTER FIGHTING WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY OVER THE GARAGE OF MY CHOICE AND THEM NOT WANTING TO GIVE ME A CAR, I CALLED DAMS BECAUSE THE GARAGE RECOMMENDED THEM. I URGENTLY NEEDED A VEHICLE TO REPLACE MINE AFTER SOMEONE SMACKED INTO THE BACK OF ME AND DAMS DELIVERED A CAR WITHIN 24 HOURS AND LET ME USE THE GARAGE I WANTED. THEY WERE REALLY HELPFUL, I PAID NOTHING AND WHEN MY CAR WAS WRITTEN OFF, I WAS SO PLEASED WITH THE MONEY RECEIVED FOR IT. I DON’T UNDERSTAND THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS LEFT HERE, I ONLY EXPERIENCED A GREAT SERVICE.

My insurance company were not accommodating to my needs at all and DAMS were. They cared about me and I would recommend.

I used DAMS when my insurance company wouldn’t allow me to take my car to the garage I knew and trusted (not without paying my access anyway) and when they refused to give me a car when mine was off the road. I absolutely couldn’t be without a car and I didn’t want mine somewhere I didn’t know. DAMS were brilliant and I was in a replacement hire vehicle within 12 hours of my first call to them.
The solicitors Bond Turner were really great in explaining things that I didn’t quite understand and when I had a bit of ‘wobble’ over the paperwork, they explained the reasons behind it all and reassurred me.
As far as I know, everything is sailing along smoothly and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who has had a non-fault accident.

I’m a repairer theses charlatans dealt with a claim for me had my client in tears a few times, as per the norm her case was put into court over the horrendous car hire charges. She been a wreck worrying about it, she was due to be in court today she called the solicitor working for DAM who told her it had already been settled. Guess what they didn’t contact my client, had she not called them with worries she’d have been sat waiting for them to turn up. In 20 years of trading direct accident management are the worse I’ve ever dealt with. My advice is AVOID DIRECT ACCIDENT MANAGEMENT

Excellent service from start to finish. Put on to Direct Accident who provided a brilliant loan car whilst repair carried out really helpful and understanding. Picked my car up as good as new Highly Recommend Direct Accident

I’m in a claim with this company, it wasn’t my fault and they wants to took away the replacement vehicle using fake arguments, knowing than I use this for work. Absolutely disappointed. Not recommended you can try with other one.

Very unprofessional and very ethical…
20 jun 2021 got accident Police except with 10 days was there fault my car was ready with in 2 months and they carry on delaying then they said if I don’t sign for my injury papers the car will be not released,
And then after 3 months they (Simon)start saying that 3rd party is not excepting I ask how come 1st they except now after 3 months u r telling me they are not excepting
They now government change different company ,that’s white have to resubmit the case again, in this process another month passed after 4 months I start pushing them to take 3rd in court BcZ I am out of work from many months , then (Michell) they send me a letter which is dated on 27/10/21 that we taking3rd party into a court you need to wait 4 to 6 weeks .then I start cheesing then from Middle of November no one wanted to talk to me then i got hold of person call( kreeg) he said Michelle shouldn’t send that letter to you on 27/10/21 BcZ we haven’t send any court proceedings letter to 3rd party.
Now we are sending them and this is in December
Now comes the January I just received a letter which dates on 5/1/22 and says we are taking court proceeding to 3rd party any update we will let u know
It’s nearly 7 months I am out of work BcZ they did not have a PCO car to give.
Now over 2 months there is a holly smith dealing with me ,I asked her few times copy of my file ,to find out what they done with my case ,
But still waiting from few months.
I am nearly bankrupt nearly 8 months sitting at home and paying £800 a months.and they are not even telling me who is responsible for this .
All January I am chasing them .
They really wanna put me bankrupt

Me and My Partner Andrew Mclachlan posted a review 2 days ago. Still Dams mcams have not got in touch or answered the simple question to when I'm going to be paid out for my car.
We are still waiting for a call from them as every time we call them we get kindly fobbed off !
