I paid for a bulky waste collection of 6 items, they only collected 2

Ealing Council use a magistrates court to quickly issue debt recoveries , the magistrates court keep NO RECORDS so if you contact them about alleged debts they cannot help , it seems that Newlyn PLC sent me a threatening letter that was meant for somebody else with the same name but who lived at a different address . its very hard to contact Ealing Council , they had my forwarding address so you can imagine what a shock it is to get threats out of the blue for nearly £1500 for a guy with my name who lives in Park Royal

1 star is way too much.

Look at the thieves from ealing. Whilst the locals ate struggling the greedy cheif executives were collecting in the money. Big bad wolves.

So, so, so frustrated with the services! Moved at a new address and requested bins as there were only 2 sets (2 black and 2 blue) of wheelie bins for 4 flats! They were already full and we had to store bags of waste in our flat. We were told that we need to share and when I enquired as to why that is when the other properties have one bin each I was given a generic link to go and read - absolutely useless! Then tried to comment back to my ticket, that was closed so I am caught in a limbo of openign new tickets to which I get useless advive.
To top it off, they keep messing up my council tax bill and I am having the same issue - the tickets get closed without me being satisfied of the "outcome" and I have to open new ones...
Do better, Ealing Council - you have some of the highest rates of c tax and your service is appalling not to even talk about the rubbish streets and how quick you are at generating PCNs!! One star is too much!

Housing department of the Ealing Council through their Housing Officers abuse the position by intimidating and blacklisting of residents in temporary accommodation that challenge the condition of HMO properties used by the council as temporary accommodation. Their refusal to assist or provide a housing plan, refusal to fund a rent deposit or provide a bond guarantee have been several ways used to punish residents that challenge their rights to a better living standard and access to council property. This is still an ongoing experience and the housing department have refused to address this matter.

Ealing council needs a review. They are not doing their job as they should.
Probably the management should listen to complaints, I called them many times about the bin issue and never sorted

My rubbish wheelie bin went missing and paid £50 for a replacement. Acknowledged and all good so far. No sign or info about delivery so phoned the Council and spoke to someone who obviously didn't know procedure but did ascertain it would be delivered on 2nd March. I was told it couldn't be tracked; WHY NOT? Arrived home on the 27th Feb to find the bin outside my house. So pleased it was still there but what poor service.

As with all my reviews, I shall start at the beginning. My mother had two properties in the borough of Ealing, one in which she lived in, and the other was rented out.

The house that was rented out became empty in November 2019, the council tax was paid until January 2020 by my mother, the council tax for 2020 -2021 for this empty property was also paid for by my mother.
My mother passed away in January 2021, and in 2021, I was trying to get Probate, I got that in January 2022, so for the empty house the council tax for 2021- 2022, was paid for by my mother's estate.

So your saying, why don't you just sell the house ? Believe you me, when I get the Necessary paperwork, Probate, that was my sole intention.
So now onto the council tax for 2022-2023, Ealing council chose to double the council tax from £1,735.48 TO PLEASE DON'T LAUGH £ 3,470.96 charging £1,735.48 for council tax and £1,735.48 for a long term empty premium, meaning that rather than just pay the £173.50, I had to pay, not my mother's estate £347.00 per month for council tax .
I paid the £347.00 per month from April 2022 until August 2022, until the empty house finally got sold, Hooray, I then wrote to Ealing Council team explaining that the house was sold, and is longer empty so can I have my £150 council tax rebate. In November 2022, my Solicitor received an outstanding council tax bill from Ealing council of three months, Sept 2022- November 2022, I phoned Ealing Council, and they explained that I needed to get my Solicitor to contact the new owners of the house and they should set up a council tax account so my mother's account could be closed, and I would get my £150 council tax rebate.

I then wrote to Ealing council tax team on the 28th of December 2022, and I emailed them on the 24th of January 2023, with everything in this review, it's now the morning of Saturday the 11th of February 2023, and I've got no reply to either letter or email.

The Ealing council tax team are a bunch of totally inept fools they should be fined by a proper council Ombudsman ( if there where such a governing body )
for operating such a poor low / non quality service, not everything can be blamed on COVID or this ongoing Pandemic.

The worse council in the UK no help with anything from anybody. They getting paid just to sit and do nothing

I can't compare it with other councils. But a house I've sold, the council has sent me a letter demanding payment. I have contacted them many times via emal and logging a ticket on their dreadful online system, but still no idea. No one has the courtesy to calll me or contact me. I've complained about the online form they have which does not even have a section about the online form, and they replied back saying direct it to the relevant department. Utter rubbish! I hope to move out this council area someday!

Had the 'experience' of attending an online webinar for landlords in the Borough of Ealing which (supposedly) sought to assist landlords who have been caught by this new tax, albeit they would never admit as much despite demanding £750 per rented property in vast swathes of the borough. This , of course means £millions of extra bunce for LBE. If you look at the areas (wards) this money is demanded from, it is probably is in excess of 60% of the land area; not very selective methinks! Attendees, naturally, had to have their mic's muted so discussion or open questioning was ruled out, however, the typed questions (the only ones allowed) asked by many of the attendees on multiple occasions, were simple ignored e.g When must a landlord complete an application by? (Really simple stuff this) Totally ignored, even after many attendees asked the same! Perhaps they don't have a clue? Judging by today, that is more than possible. Perhaps being open is beyond them for reasons we are yet to discover.

Took over an hour to speak to someone who couldn't be bothered to help,totally arrogant staff,I absolutely detest this council

Refuse collections is very poor, they make excuses not to collect your rubbish which is only collected once every two weeks - update I complained and an apology was issued in my favor and I will be getting my rubbish collected so I am quite happy with the fairly quick response.

It is one of the worst services to the community. There must be some way to make a complaint maybe get it to parliament as it's not fair to the local population to pay tax and not get a decent service.
I tried to pay my resident parking permit but the online system doesn't work. It doesn't have a record of my previous payments, it doesn't accept my log in, and it doesn't allow me to make another registration... And after you manage to talk to a staff on the phone, he says he can't do anything to help you.
Completely useless service offered.

This council are an utter and foul disgrace. The social care department would be better named satanic care. Staff and managers alike are stupid and incompetent beyond belief.

Rude , unprofessional , unhelpful , long delays , lack knowledge basically worthless service . When I phoned the incompetent woman didn't even know what the government energy rebate was and she works in the council tax department.

Ealing Council set up driving traps which you cannot see and have zero service to anyone. They just want to fine you and take your money. There's a left turn at Hanger Vale and you cannot see the pedestrian zone sign from your vehicle. They fined me twice and failed to send me the letter for one of them. Now they are pursuing me for a higher fine through another organisation or taking me to court for a fine they never posted to me. I had no way of knowing about it. They will not help me. They are just vile. Utter disgrace.Something must be done about this vile corrupt council. Plus you cannot get through on phones or speak to anyone. Just disgraceful.

This is the worst council that I have ever seen in the London, They send me a penalty charge reminder as you did not pay in time while I haven’t received the first one, I sent them 10 challenges and no one answered, even they do not have telephone that you can talk to someone, I am really sorry for people who lives there!!

I give 000 star because Ealing council wants 180 pm council tax even I don’t have rubbish bin , no parking. I rented my house! When I complained no answer then phone! Office is closed I don’t know what so we need help and then Ukrainian

Scammed me on a pedestrian zone, now i cant pay the fine. You have rejected my reasoning for using the pedestrian zone and thwarted it. Now i cannot pay it off.

Are you trying to 2x the original fine?
