BMW Flash Drive corrupted and fixed
My BMW 1 Series had a problem with it's entertainment system where it was constantly rebooting every 20-30 seconds, after a bit of research I discovered it was the software, namely the flash drive that had bricked itself - seems to be a common problem in 10+ year old 1 Series. So I contacted a few places that came up in searches. Rob from Easy Bimmer Coding came straight back to me, told me the price (£130 approx), ask me to send my VIN number to him once I had paid, then within a week I was online with Daniel, laptop plugged into my car, him remote accessing the laptop with the files they had sent to me prior, it took about an hour to do what needed to be done and the system now works like new, if not better as they also installed the latest version of Maps for me.
I read on Trust Pilot people were put off by short, almost direct messages from the Easy Bimmer Code team, and although that is right, they can be short, but they were accurate and to the point. I would recommend them to anybody having issues with their car or who wanted to get their car's system software updated.
