The Best Source

ECS Tuning is actually more than a source - it is a wonderful reference to make your car exactly the way you want ikt. I use the ECS Tuning site to check parts AGAINST BMW / Mini to verify accuracy, part numbers and prices, as well as availability. E CS typically excels on the majority of these points and ships free at $49+ which is really fair. They have excellent support and liberal return policy.

Horrific support for failing parts and QOS

I have a current open ticket (as of 2/13/26) and I am receiving 0 response from their support. My ticket was escalated to their manager Erin who has not replied to me.

This is the 2nd set of Monoball control arms (preinstalled) that I have purchased from them, both have failed, first set I ordered last year, had them installed, and the bushing fell out of the control arm, under their warranties, I ordered a 2nd pair and had the 1st part refunded, same exact issue happens again. Their support team confirmed in the email that this was a defect and a failure, after paying over $1600 for remove, install, and allignments, their support told me that I can't get a refund but just a store credit, it has been less than 90 days since the last order was received and it is a clear defect of their product, that is costing a customer an arm and a leg, and they won't respond anymore. I Have tried calling support weekly and I dont get any help other than I have to wait for Erin to reply, but still no response.

As a customer, I understand their policies, but their support has not made me want to remain as a customer, with little solution for an issue that is a defective part and a hazard for their customer.

Inefficient shipping department and poor communication

The shipping department is terrible. How hard is it to verify an address label can be created for a certain location? If you can’t, you would think they’d reach out and let the customer know. Not the case, instead they toss a coin and see where it lands. I’ve had 5 packages turned around from either FedEx or UPS because of it.

I don’t write public reviews, but at this point I feel forced to do so because I am fed up with their inefficiency and lack of communication from their team. I’m at the point where I probably will not order from them again.

steven fletcher, we sincerely apologize for the shipping issues and the lack of communication you experienced. Because the order was going to an APO address, it unfortunately exceeded size limits for USPS and could not be delivered by FedEx.

We have issued a full refund and are using your feedback to improve how we handle and communicate about restricted delivery locations.

Extreme slow shipping

It's a good place to locate product. Although they're shipping it is absolutely atrocious. Even when they don't roll out an excuse of they were doing inventory or they were shut down for some other reason. There are literally a five hour and twenty minute drive form me yet it takes product4 to 5 days to arrive after it ships.

I Recommend

I’ve purchased multiple OEM and aftermarket parts for my car in the last 14 years and haven’t had any problems whatsoever. Will continue to buy products from ECS as long as I still have my car. It would by nice if I win the spin game 😆

Sent older wrong product

Sent older wrong product, return processed smoothly, then correct part was sent.
They should have sent the same part that's advertised on their website 1st, instead of some older outdated inferior part .

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I ordered some parts from these people and between them and UPS delivered the package somewhere else. Now they are putting a enormous effort changing the story over and over to do not refund my money and also had the audacity to ask me to investigate on their behalf to try to locate the package they miss-delivered one month ago. It looks like this will end up in court, it's a good thing all the communication is on the record and a judge will see right through it very quickly.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. I had an issue with a tune I bought through ECS and when I contacted their customer service for resolution, they were unable to assist and kept providing different excuses. After calling 5 or 6 times, I ended up contacting the manufacturer of the tune (Integrated Engineering) and they were able to address my problem. ECS, you need to do better.

They sent me the incorrect coilovers 3…

They sent me the incorrect coilovers 3 times in a row. The third time, they insisted that the wrong coilivers they were sending were actually the correct the whole time. I even sent them my vin number for the vehicle and brought them in to be installed (over $1000 in labor). Guess what! still the completely wrong part, and did not come close to fitting. Ridiculous job done by every single department in this facility. I can not even fathom what is going on over there. DO NOT BUY PARTS HERE.

this is my second major purchase with…

this is my second major purchase with them and I've always had good experiences with them. they have competitive price match and all you have to do is email or chat with the CSR team and they will price match or offer a better deal. Also, look carefully inside your boxes, I've gotten free stickers/decals (who doesn't like stickers?) and ECS branded license plate holders. I mean, they don't have to do that, but they do.

I ordered a South Bend clutch kit…

I ordered a South Bend clutch kit and there were issues from the Vendor on Backorder and delivery ultimately impacting where the item was shipped instead of cancelled.
ECS took ownership and worked with me to resolve my concerns.

Great reliable products for my E46. All of my purchases made with ECS have been satisfied with a fast delivery on standard. Does cost a fortune but worth it!

Customer service is horrible. Company did not charge per we originally purchased. Items say in stock, but orders are super delayed.

Ordered a windshield cowl and the one…

Ordered a windshield cowl and the one that arrived was not the same cowl that was pictured on their site. I even showed pictures of what i purchased from an image on their site and compared it to what I received and showed how it was different. I returned it but only got refunded the product amount and not my shipping cost. So basically I paid shipping for something that was the incorrect part from their site. Beware of ordering on this site. It could cost you.

check engine light on my audi…

I had a check engine light on my audi A5 . The cause was a misfire in cylinder #2 . I looked at the video provided by ECS and I purchased 4 new spark plugs and 4 ignition coils with a few needed tools for the job from ECS. In less than an hour I completed the removal and installation. When I started the car up the check engine light was off and the car ran a lot smoother.

Disappointed how they handled their mistake

Have placed a number of orders with ECS. This order they shipped the wrong part - ordered a single pod gauge holder - they shipped a double pod. I was preparing for an event and I made it clear I needed the correct part by the end of the week - 5 days away. The part did not arrive on time so I had to find another solution. When I went the return the part - they charged me $15 to ship it back. Very disappointed they charged me $15 for their mistake.

Don’t buy here

Used this company 2 years ago, they said the parts I ordered were in stock. They got delayed 3 months because they weren’t in stock. Fast forward 2 years, I order $2,000 worth of parts and it’s been delayed twice now. Order was supposed to ship 11/14/2025, delayed to 11/21/2025, now delayed until 12/01/2025 and I probably won’t see my parts till after Christmas. Don’t place important orders through ECS if you need them in a timely manner. I will never use ECS again

Finally found my BMW parts source

After being a BMW owner for 15 years I have finally found ECS Tuning for all the BMW parts I needed. Parts that I did not see listed on the site and did a search for, Surprise! They had it. No more wondering if I was going to get the quality parts that I wanted. Support staff was knowledgeable and very supportive. If they didn't have an answer, they reached out to someone who did. On top of that, they price match. Even better, everything I have ordered to date was shipped for free. Only one order that I made was delayed, only because one of the parts had been back ordered and I didn't have wait long for those parts to be shipped. One of the perks, if you can call it that, is that they assemble kits and recommend them to their customers as an alternative. Thanks ECS. Every part I order was a perfect fit.

ECS sold me a faulty tune for my 2002…

ECS sold me a faulty tune for my 2002 Audi TT and did not honor their “lifetime” warranty. I was forced to spend $1300 to repair my car so it would pass inspection. I will not be using ECS for my parts needs anymore. FCP Euro and Urotuning will get my business from now on.
