They are selling fake and broken parts. Refusing return requests. The customer service is horrible. They don't care about the customers at all.

Customer service worst I've ever…

Customer service worst I've ever experienced.
They didn't come back to me after 2 questions of why my order was delayed twice, and the price had gone up. Anyway, I canceled my orders there and will never do business with them again. Found better parts elsewhere; I had a feeling they don't want business with my region. Anyway, this review is my honest opinion of them.

Beware of Old Stock and Shelf Life -- DEF

Shopping online in September 2025, I asked an ECS Tuning rep on chat what the manufacture date of their BMW AdBlue DEF was because DEF has a 2-yr shelf life. He stated "August 2025," so I ordered two bottles. When it arrived, one was dated 040225 and the other 161224 (besides both having leaked in the box). I contacted ECS by phone and the rep apologized and stated she'd send me out two new bottles, and would send a special note to the warehouse to ensure it was the freshest. When the two replacement bottles arrived, they were both dated 161224 (and again, both leaked in the box). I called again and spoke to another rep who basically told me that there was nothing wrong with the product and there was nothing she could do. After getting nowhere with her, I called back again and spoke to Nick who understood my issue and researched what they had in stock. I told him I didn't want the DEF if they didn't have anything produced before June 2025. Two days later, he contacted me with the news that they didn't have anything on the shelf newer than 16 Dec 24, and that he'd refund my money. I sent the bottles back and got a refund.
Good on Nick for helping me and finding out exaclty what they had on their shelf, and for not attempting to stick me with something I didn't want. Bad on them for originally trying to pass on aged DEF that has just over half its shelf life left.

Unreliable customer service

I had been a long tern customer until placing a custom order for a trunk cover. After waiting for over 6 month the item has finally arrived, but following instructions from cutomer service messed things up, ending in loosing the order and wasting lots of my time. I suggest dealing with higher quality vendors that value their customers.

I paid for next day shipping and the parts didnt come for 5 days. I asked for a refund on the extra shipping because of this and they completely ignored me.

I would give them less than one star

I would give them less than one star. We ordered a valvetronic actuator, and they sent us a faulty one. After having it installed, we discovered it was defective. We contacted ECS and ordered another one, but it never arrived. When I called customer service, the representative couldn’t have cared less he simply said he could order another one. For anyone wondering, ECS owns Turner, and both companies are terrible. You’ll lose both money and time dealing with them.

Nonexistent Support

These guys are fine if everything goes smoothly, but good luck getting any assistance when there are problems.

Two contact form submissions, a phone call/voicemail, and two times waiting on chat support for 30+ minutes - no return communication whatsoever.

In the past, one of my orders also came with a “free gift” that, once redeemed, turned out to be a scam tricking me into setting up an automatic renewal subscription without making that clear at time of redemption.

Cheap Chinese Products

Bought a set of water pump and thermostat (Bavarian Autosport) in 3/2025, not even 500 miles and the part/s failed and left me stranded. Purchased another set and had shipped to shop 176 miles from home. Parts were overnighted and installed. Drove 176 miles back home, and the following day car went into limp mode again with code 2e81 and 2e84. Just because you offer your lifetime warranty doesn't give you the right to sell shitty products that you don't stand behind. The customer is the one that foots the shop bill when your crappy products fail. I'm out $3k on replacement on both instances, went with FCP Euro for an OEM one, which I could've gotten from ECS Tuning, but i've had it. Been purchasing a lot of items from ECS Tuning, this will be my last.

Lousy website, good company…

The website is terrible- the company overall is very good. Every time I add my vehicle, once finished, it adds the vehicle to the search field for some reason and then finds no results.
Wrestling with adding the most important bit of information to the site is ridiculous. This is not new and seems never to get fixed. Since the business is online and depends on this, I don’t have any idea why it works so poorly.

Purchased some parts for my golf r , deliverey to Canada was fast , exchange rate was as expected, and no duties was a bonus, will buy from ecs again.. hopefully they can make their own golf r rear lower control arms soon 😊

Good job

The part I needed was available and it looks just like the original (except way newer, of course). Pricing was reasonable and shipping was quick. All around, a great transaction. I was really happy because I didn't think I'd be able to find the part I wanted.

Don’t count on them to refund you

Don’t count on them to refund you your money.
After shipping my parts back I received an email stating “2-4 business days” and after calling the customer service (once hung up on, second was zero help) now 13 days later I finally have an email saying it SHOULD take “3-5 business days”
Absolutely hilarious how far this company has fallen in the past couple years. I won’t be returning

Gave me an incomplete rod bearing kit, who provides engine oil and drain plug and not include an oil filter, and after that chatted with a customer service guy name Joe H. Who said was trying to help me and kept giving me part numbers and asking me if those part number would fit my car like i work there. And not really address the original error on the order which was my original question!

Company "Busy" Doing Nothing

Ordered a part marked in stock from their website in June and still haven't received it in September (3 months later!), with the expected ship-out date getting pushed back an additional TWO months without warning. This is costing me a lot of money, and I would have gotten my part from somewhere else had I known there was an inkling of this possibility. The phone representatives assured me that they check on expected dates with their suppliers "every day," so the shipment date getting pushed out an entire two months without warning is absurd.

They also shipped me coolant without the proper HazMat labels. This is an extreme disregard for the environment and is highly illegal.

Zero communication from ECS about my issues. I have needed to bug them every step of the way to get anything accomplished.

You are liable even if it is not your fault...

Bought an item that got stuck during shipping, contacted ECS who said that I have to wait 1 month until they contact fedex and refused to issue a refund until tis get settled. The tracking number showed that the item was somehwere and did not change status for weeks but still they did not want to issue a refund knowing that it was not my fault. I created a Paypal claim and finaly got my money back. Now I tried to make an new order and noticed that it was "under review", to find out after calling them that they blocked me from using Paypal, debit or credit card, and was only to buy using Wire transfer? Sound like they blocked me from using any payment way that protect me (the customer)...
ECStuning is PURE GARBAGE.

Garbage

Garbage, ordered head gasket kit to the wrong address on accident. Called and updated same day and they still sent it to the wrong address, their information STILL says it went to the correct updated address. There is a huge issue in the business departments if they can not keep track of their deliveries. It arrived broken and I tried to get a replacement sent out after sending pictures of the broken one still in package and they gave me a hard time wanting to return the broken one. They will go under eventually without a shift in business processes. Good luck if you order form here.
