I would highly recommend avoidingâŠ
I would highly recommend avoiding Equifax at all costs. Their site is dated and poorly laid out, I have had issues with them having incorrect details for me multiple times, and they have taken multiple payments from me after i have cancelled my subscription, both of wich you have to call them to correct.
Which brings me to the main issue. Their call centre is awful, terrible sound quality and the staff have very poor English making it hard to explain the issues. They are also very reluctant to provide refunds even when they have clearly wrongly taken funds. I have used other providers such as experian which much better user experience and much better customer support.

Difficult to cancel subscription duringâŠ
Difficult to cancel subscription during 'trial period', which I can't say I wanted anyway. Website not Apple Mac friendly either (i.e. does not fully support Safari Browser - as I found out later)
Website not particularly easy to navigate. An example of this being my inability to avoid a £14.95 payment leaving my account.
I got a free statutory report from Experian later BTW without having to sign up to any 'free trial'.

Mixed my credit score up with someâŠ
Mixed my credit score up with some random person just based on name alone, not date of birth, not address, not any other history so I ended up with my credit score going down. I have full details of the person that they've mixed me up with it's just unacceptable that this even happened purely based on name. What kind of security is that? It's breaking all kinds of GDPR rules. Our personal details in the hands of people we should trust. Then it's a call centre with the people on the other side just reading from a screen and unable to answer any questions that aren't listed up. I've had a perfectly clean credit score for years and always paid my bills on time and this has knocked it down when I need it the most. I'm supposedly going to have to wait between 5-8 weeks for an outcome. Absolutely appalling.
UPDATE: They took the strangers details from my account but now have given me a Notice of correction on my own address which can affect me getting credit for the next 6 years what an absolute joke this is. They don't even deserve one star

I wish there was an option of 0 star for rating as Equifax deserve to be rated such
It's an absolute waste of money, Equifax charging money for service which banks are providing for free
Lazy ass company doesn't update the balance on time, if I have to wait every 6 weeks for the balance to be updated then i see no point of Equifax to exist
It's a very complicated website which doesn't even have an option to update address
All in all a complete waste of money and ridiculous service

The app is terrible and not worth the money
I just don't like the lay out of the app. Clear Score has a much better app and I am not paying for that one. Experian I am paying for and there app is a lot better to My Equifax. It is a waste of time because I am not getting to see what I am wanting to see like I do with Clear Score and Experian

huge drop for one search
I have just had a drop in my credit score of well over 30% for one hard search - years of paying off loans early, never missing a payment etc. etc. and now my rating is ruined. However, the good news is that any future requests for loans will be more expensive for me but will bring these parasites extra commission.
