Kiam Clamped Carbon Fibre Gutter Vac Pole Kits

I bought a set of the Kiam clamped carbon poles ( 22.01.26) first use of them was in February and a couple of them broke after only a few times of use, domestic use. The clamps are poor, the clamp relies on a tiny piece of plastic formed on the clamp which sits in between a notch in the carbon pole, the plastic 'Bit' just shears off! The clamps then just spin regardless.

I contacted them on the 15th April with the issue. It took a couple of weeks to sort the problem, back and forth emails which were unnecessary. Customer service was ok but the emails became less informal and short, like they couldn't be bothered, not very professional.

I did however receive replacement poles.

It was disappointing to find they do not sell the replacements clamps, which seems odd and ridiculous, every other manufacturer does?

Even more disappointing, I now today found ALL my poles clamps have worn, including the clamp on the carbon goose neck. I don't clear gutters day in day out so it's extremely disappointing paying all that money out for them now to be broken with little use!

I'm not sure I want the hassle sorting this with customer service all over again.

The Kiam Carbon Clamped Poles are not fit for purpose. And it's ridiculous you cant buy spare clamps/ parts. The cost of products and the amount customers spend at Equip2Clean you should expect better service.

My advice is to avoid.

Hi Ben, Thank you for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback — it's genuinely useful and I'm sorry to hear you've had ongoing problems with the clamps on your Kiam carbon pole kit.

You've raised a fair point about the clamp design — if the plastic locating piece is shearing off across multiple poles, including after a replacement, that's clearly not good enough for the price point and we want to get to the bottom of why this is happening. I'm also sorry the communication during your first contact with us didn't feel as personal as it should have — that's not the standard we expect from our team and I'll be feeding this back.

On the spare parts point, I completely understand the frustration — it would make far more sense to be able to replace a worn clamp rather than the whole pole, and I'll be raising this internally as something we should look at offering.

I'd like to get this properly resolved for you rather than you having to go through the back and forth again. Please email me directly at jon.raven@equipmartuk.co.uk with your order details and I'll personally make sure this is sorted quickly and properly this time.

I brought a bundle deal few months ago

I brought a bundle deal few months ago, not a fault with the equipment everything works how it should. If i ever need something & something not working like battery charger they was quick sending out new one, when I order something extra its in the post straight away next day or so its at my door. Always a good service 👌

Made an order online was given delivery…

Made an order online was given delivery date but unfortunately the courier had had issues, I had then contacted equipment2clean and straight away was offered a refund or redelivery I requested a redelivery and again and issue with the courier company, a third attempt was made with a different c courier company and recieved. Delivery the next day. Throughout this whole process the customer service team couldn't of been more helpful and did everything they could to get my order to me, Yes it did take a little longer then expected but this wasn't down to equipt2clean it was purely down to the courier service.

Probably the worst customer service I…

Probably the worst customer service I have ever received from a company. The person I dealt with offered zero help in sourcing a part required for the power washer that I bought from them approx 2 weeks ago. Initial email replies were slow and non-helpful. The questions I had asked were not being answered. Reminder emails had to be sent in order to get eventual replies, which again avoided the questions asked. I was then told that they could not help, and could not supply a part for a machine supplied by them only a couple of weeks earlier. When I asked to get the direct contact details of their head of customer service I was not given those details, and am no longer receiving replies at all. I see that the head of customer service replies to all the negative reviews on here, so this may be the only way to get through to him! Absolutely no interest was shown in helping a customer.

I completely understand your comments regarding the level of support and communication you received. Having reviewed the situation, I can see why you were frustrated, and I apologise that we did not meet the standard of service you rightly expected.

As discussed with my colleague this morning, we have now arranged for the air filter housing to be sent to you free of charge as a goodwill gesture in recognition of the initial lack of support and the miscommunication throughout the process.

Your DPD tracking number is: 15509751251571, and the parcel should arrive on Saturday or Monday.

I am pleased that we have now been able to source the required parts and bring this matter to a satisfactory conclusion. While I appreciate this does not change your initial experience, I hope it demonstrates our commitment to putting things right when issues arise.

If, upon receiving the part, you feel that the actions we have taken to resolve the matter are worthy of being reflected in your Trustpilot review, we would be extremely grateful if you would consider updating it. Whilst we fully respect your original comments, we hope the final outcome and our efforts to rectify the situation can also form part of the overall picture.

It took several weeks and three…

It took several weeks and three delivery attempts to receive my order in full, despite paying £20 for next day delivery. The product arrived without any instructions, making it difficult to identify that parts were missing from the outset.

Customer service was friendly most of the time, but the overall resolution was poor. They made several attempts to send the missing parts, however both the original parts and the replacement parts supplied were unusable, meaning the issue remained unresolved after multiple deliveries.

After this, I requested a refund. Despite making it clear that I no longer wanted replacement parts, a third attempt was made to send additional parts instead of processing the refund I had requested.

I also had to pay a further £20 for return postage. Overall, I am £40 out of pocket and have spent a considerable amount of time dealing with issues that should have been avoided in the first place plus the lost earnings due to cancelled jobs.

We appreciate that there were delays in getting the product to you and that the missing parts issue took far longer to resolve than it should have. While our team made several attempts to provide replacement parts, we understand your disappointment that these efforts did not ultimately provide a satisfactory outcome.

I do recall that we offered to arrange a video call to help fit the tap connections to the buffer tank, however finding a mutually suitable time proved difficult. Since then, we can see that the buffer tank has been returned to us and a full refund has been processed for the amount paid on the original order.

For clarity, the refund reflects the amount you paid at the time of purchase, as the order was placed using a discount code. This is why the refunded amount differs from the product's standard retail price.

We are sorry that your experience fell below the standard we aim to provide and appreciate your comments, as they help us identify areas where we need to improve. If there is anything further we can assist you with, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Terrible response from them regarding a…

Terrible response from them regarding a broken item I’ve sent them photos of it clearly broken so to be honest rather than waste my time by sending it back to them to tell me some nonsense I’d rather just buy a new one from Rutland pumps at least they don’t tel you that they haven’t seen your emails so I would recommend if your needing anything go to Rutland pumps sorry but your email response has brought this review on all the best mark miller

Well priced and technically works - big issue is it won’t stay connected to hose and pops off as soon as tap is turned on
Correct attachments , tried their hose connector and my brand-new one but will not stay connected and sprays everywhere emailed for help three times over a few weeks and never received one reply

I got the Aquarius Hot 2800 on the…

I got the Aquarius Hot 2800 on the first instance and some parts were not working. This was picked up and on returning it, it got more worse that I couldn’t use it with multiple parts broken. However, I did reach out to the team and requested for an upgrade to the Hot Poseidon by adding the balance. This was done without a hassle and the machine delivered. Also had a refund done for the Hose I bought alongside the Hot 2800 as it wasn’t compatible with the new machine. Thank you for turning the experience around for me.
