The staff were helpful and knowledgeable and made the whole process easy.

My experience with them was great! They did a fantastic job.

If you have a warranty with Evans it’s an absolute nightmare the process that has to be done been waiting two days now for a request to be approved so they can order part for my car. They have advised I am still safe to drive the car I researched this myself and it can possible cause more engine failure if I do this.
Called numerous times to chase this and their response is always I’ll give you a call when this is approved. They said they have emailed warranty provider I then said can you ring them to approve they advised they have emailed. From my experience phone call is always better than emails as quicker service

I had a good experience and this is my second purchase from an Evan’s Halshaw garage. Always polite and helpful. Elizabeth Woolley was great to deal with! I have only marked a star down due to both occasions when buying my newest car - the coffee machine didn’t work. I needed coffee after a 1.5 hour drive 🤣🤣🤣

Just a easy experience

Daniel (I’m not allowed to include all of your details but you know who I mean) the below doesn’t apply to you. Thanks for your help. However, the rest of Service department at this dealership is an absolute joke.
Over 4 months I was trying to get some work done at this place on my Focus Vignale. During one period I called every day for 3 weeks and every day I was promised a call back with an update. Nothing. Totally incompetent. Forced to attend in person and then to be lied to, to my face (Amy), with other customers present isn’t really a good look is it. Totally unprofessional. Further numerous lies on phone calls and to be constantly ignored as a customer? Forced me to visit, I saw them take calls from people, not be able to resolve their issue, tell them they’d get back to them and not even note it down. Amy would be out on her ear, quick smart if I was her boss. Talking of bosses, left a number of messages for him to call me back…guess what? He didn’t…
Told me parts ordered, booked in. On day of repairs called to say one of the parts wasn’t available and would reschedule. I had to call back, obviously…to be told they hadn’t even ordered any of the parts.
I’ll be writing to Ford UK regarding this place trading on their name and in my opinion bringing down the brands reputation.
And before you reply saying you’re sorry you haven’t met my expectations, they aren’t just my expectations. They’re the expectations any reasonable customer would have.

Really good service from start to finish purchasing a new ford puma. Made us feel very at ease and explained everything really well.

Very poor service from the commercial side having dealt with a useless salesman

Called to ask about a van before we drive 4 hours total to view it. We were told it was in great condition and ready to drive away. When we arrived it was dirty, not even cleaned inside and far from good condition with scratches, dents, digs and marks in just about every panel. His response was to shrug his shoulders and tell us it was supposed to have been done, avoid these people as they cannot give a damn or be honest

Unfortunately 12 months on from my purchase form Evans Halshaw I have to leave a 1 star

DONT TAKE OUT THEIR EXTENDED WARRANTY

Van broke down a week into owning the vehicle and to their credit Phil and Jack sorted it, it did take over 4 weeks but it did get sorted

2 weeks later I had to call AA out van broke down again

10 months later turbo blew up and the extend warranty wont pay, blaming dirt in the turbo (this is a con that they use to stop paying out)

I was advised when I purchased the van the insurance would cover anything as long as it's serviced. It's isn't the case at all.

Unfortunately this time Jack and Phil don't want to know and are refusing to refund the insurance payment that is pointless.

3 breakdowns in 12 months from a 20k van

2 significant and one cost me over £3600 as the insurance wouldn't pay out

Just be careful when buying from them.

It is with deep disappointment that I write this review, but I feel compelled to warn others against making the same mistake. Had I purchased a brand-new Ford from this dealership, I believe my experience would have been vastly different. Instead, I paid nearly £8,500 for a Nissan Qashqai almost 10 months ago, and the entire process has been nothing short of a nightmare.

The vehicle came with a three-month warranty, yet issues arose almost immediately—issues that, to this day, remain unresolved. It is unacceptable that the burden of chasing resolutions has fallen entirely on me as the customer. I’ve been repeatedly passed from one person to another, with no one seeming to take responsibility or demonstrate basic communication skills. The lack of coordination and professionalism is staggering.

Perhaps the most shocking failure was being left with no functioning heating during the coldest months of the year. This meant I had no way to clear my windscreen when it steamed up while driving, creating a dangerously unsafe situation. For a dealership to allow such a critical issue to go unresolved shows a blatant disregard for customer safety. (Amongst other issues like a faulty steering wheel and gearbox (which credit to them, they fixed the gearbox after having my vehicle for nearly 9 weeks)

I cannot stress enough how disheartening this experience has been, and I strongly urge others to steer clear of this dealership. A business that prioritizes sales over customer care and safety is not one to be trusted.
