Picked up new van on Friday. Great customer service from Chris efficient from start to finish 100% would recommend going to see him!

All they wanted was the deal. No answer from Jay or Neil and his team once I said I am pulling out. Poor customer service.

Great experience all around!
I enquired a model 3 and Kevin got in touch with me straight away answering all my questions(I mean all of them all the time) - on the day I had a pesonalised video from George with the details about the vehicle.Paid to secure the car via a link sent by Kevin - hassle free(the payment for the car also went though a link and this is so easy especially when large amounts are involved).
We arrived on the scheduled day to see the vehicle where Luke took care of us - absolute superstar - all the patience in the world,answering all our questions - went above and beyond it was past his home time and he was sat with us getting us though the last bits trying to work out with us what to do next in terms of Tesla's other things which are involved once you get one of their vehicles.I would definitely recommend!Just as a note - do your on homework on the vehicle you are purchasing so you know what to expect and what to check.Thank you for the fab experience and car!

Wasted 2 hours of my life. Trying to charge me nearly £500 a month and a very low part exchange figure for my current 23 plate Audi for a 24 plate petrol corsa, I think I’ll stick with Audi.. asked to see the figures printed down.. was reluctant to provide and going to have to wait another half hour probably! met loads of resistance. Horrible sales experience.

Dealt with George when buying a used car. Process was made straightforward and got everything turned round quickly, making the process stress free. Would definitely recommend using Evans Halshaw York

I would never recommend Evans Halshaw to anyone. The sales process was a farce.... I only went to them because my sister was buying a vehicle and said there is a 'recommend a friend' programme, where she would get £75. I completed the purchase of my car, and now - 3 months on and 2 official complaints later, she has received nothing at all.

My vehicle sale took in total 4 AND A HALF HOURS despite knowing which car I wanted when I went to them, and it being a cash sale. I do believe the will to live actually left my body during the process. The number of times they tried to persuade me to do a lease or finance the vehicle was RIDICULOUS. I know they get their commision through stuff like that but seriously - BACK OFF. They dont respect a clear and definite NO. The icing on the cake was finding out the car hadn't even been valeted when i thought I was close to getting the keys (bearing in mind they knew I was coming in to collect the car 2 days after paying the deposit for it. Visit number 1 to pay deposit & sign all the paperwork - 2 hours. Visit number 2 to pay balance and get the car - 2 and a half hours.

York Salesperson Sahand Galal was really helpful in supporting us during our decision making and took time and effort to ensure we were happy with our final purchase and options chosen. He went above and beyond as part of a cohesive team to make sure we made the right decison for our own needs. Leanne also remembered us from several years ago which was really nice too. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend any purchase from here.

I came to Evans Halshaw Vauxhall to purchase a used car. My past experiences with car garages and cars has not been great, with it always leading to being sold unreliable cars that broke almost immediately after purchasing.

The team were amazing and made me feel at ease throughout the whole purchase of my new car, a Nissan Juke. The team took my wants and needs into consideration whilst helping me choose my new car and found me the perfect one.

I could not be happier with the service I received from beginning to end and would definitely recommend this garage and team to anyone.

We came here to purchase a second hand car after having a crash in a previous car and it been written off. We didn't really know what car we wanted but the guys were all very friendly and helpful and very patient too. Sean Millard remembered us from a previous car purchase and was happy to see us again. My car went for MOT and annual service. I have been using Evans Halshaw Vauxhall York for 12 years, I have to travel for approx 80 minutes, but I would not take my car anywhere else, the reception staff are all very friendly, professional, efficient and Knowledgeable, and the workmanship is top notch. I think this dealership is excellent all round

Sales exec Sahand Galal answered all my questions I had regarding the car and was very effective in advising me which service and package add ons were relevant to my needs.

However dealership restraints spoiled the experience -
Full service history not provided - we have to contact Mercedes dealer to obtain.
Sat nav requires sd card to operate, not included in sale, cost us 29.99 on ebay.
At handover car provided with £7.50 worth of diesel, told this was maximum dealer can provide, first stop petrol station.

Had many experiences with this garage and I must say Simon the sales guy we dealt with this time was very good, from start to finish, always made sure we were happy and was very knowledgeable about the car we was buying.
Nothing was too much for him,

I deal in honesty ! ! Firstly I’d like to thank Mark in the service department who has been OUTSTANDING, and So patient with me ! And secondly his Doppelgänger , Tom who was always available when Mark was away ! They have most most definitely ’ gone the extra mile ‘ to assure I had a vehicle within an hour of my phonecall !!! When my car broke down . Outstanding ! ! Thankyou ! Secondly, the team that ‘ back them up ‘ , the ladies in the front line / front desk, deserve a mention too ! Always there to offer support and genuinely cared for my well being ! And got me the most delicious hot choc drink in the world!
And lastly Martin , who has listened to me on a daily basis !

I would strongly recommend Evans Halshaw for your car purchase, if you like. Your experience to be the most stressful experience of your life. Being constantly ignored. To wait forever for a return call. To feel like you don't matter. BUT, if you do not want all of the above, go to another car dealer in the area, where you will be treated like a valued customer. Its a shame there is no minus stars available, I could have given this company minus 10
