Recently visited Formula One Dunstable and found them friendly and helpful.

They sorted out issue with my tyres/wheels promptly in a professional manner

I was in an emergency as some mobile tyre fitter put the wrong tyre and it was dangerous they only had 20 mins left of their shift and they managed to do it. Amazing job from Sam and the team in Dunstable.

I was booked into the Dunstable formula one autocentre via tyresavings.com, who had sent me a booking confirmation and order reference. But when I arrived at the autocentre, there was no record of my booking as tyresavings.com hadn't sent them the details or had the tyres delivered. However, Sam was an absolute star and did the job for me then and there. Luckily he had the right tyres in his own stock. He even honoured the price I was supposed to be getting through tyresavings.com. i am very happy with my new tyres and the service I received. Thank you Sam and team.

Booked MOT online at 5 weeks in advance at Formula One Dunstable Centre and pre-paid.On the day an hour before my MOT contacted by them to say they are cancelling my MOT ‘because their MOT tester had decided to extend his paternity leave.’!! Called their customer service who I thought had agreed to refund MOT fee paid and do MOT on another day free of charge as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience caused. This is the least they should have done.They later confirmed that all they were doing was refunding MOT fee already paid.Obviously a company that don’t care a damn about good customer service or messing their customers around.I’ll go elsewhere in future to someone else who is more deserving of my business.

Was towed here by my breakdown company who hadn’t actually phoned the place to book me in. Despite this they were super accommodating, even though it was close to closing and Sam managed to get a new tyre fitted regardless.

I paid for 4 new tyres. I phoned the centre the day before to make sure they had the tyres and they were in date. They said yes to both. When I got to the f1 autocentre I asked to see the tyres before they were put on. They were 5 years out of date. Please check any tyres they put on your car or van. £200 a tyre and the tyres were over 8 years old. Never will I go back here or any of there sites.

This is the Dunstable branch in reference booked on line for two tyres to be fitted.Two uniroyals 3 they decided to fit the uniroyal 5 instead .They decided that was ok , Two hours in the waiting for two tyres to be fitted Contacted customer care to rectify the problem spoke to area manager, I will sort this out ,no luck there Useless bunch at Dunstable should learn their trade employ people who know this trade.Also stop trying to over charge customers.USELESS.

EDIT .... surely I should have received a call from your company advising me that the appointment wasn't booked correctly by your online booking system so that i didnt waste my time getting up early on a Sunday? I wont be wasting anymore time calling you, i will wait for the money to be returned by bank chargeback, as i was told by your employee at the garage that he couldnt refund me. Ive wasted enough time dealing with your rubbish company thanks.

Booked and paid online for a service booked for Sunday 23rd Oct, When I turn up at the garage I am told that they do no work on a Sunday!?! Why has your company effectively wasted my time and taken my money for a service that doesnt exist? No call to advise this, so I've wasted time getting up on a Sunday, what a pathetic company! I've wasted enough time dealing with this shower, so I've raised a charge back from my bank as your employee at the garage told me that they can't arrange a refund for me. Absolute joke of a company.

I booked for front brake pads to be fitted through WhoCanFixMyCar.com, I received a booking confirmation email which requested I contact the Dunstable Formula 1 Autocentre which I did. They telephonically confirmed the appointment for 11am on 8/9/22. I booked time off work and arrived at 10:45am only to be told that I did not have a booking and they could not help me, I showed the booking confirmation to the person but they were not interested and told me they couldnt help me. Disgusting service and I certainly won't use any Formula 1 again.

I not a kind the person who likes to complain or take advantages, but today one of your employees made me so upset.

I paid and booked to change my van tyres this morning, and I knew that I must do wheels alignment, because my tyres is getting damaged on the sides and I bought wheels balancing instead of alignment, I really didn't paid attention at the time. When he finished, I asked politely to him if he did the alignment and he said: " you didn't paid for, so why you want one? " I was surprised and said, please let me check my email, and he said " even if you did I'm not going to do" then I said, please let me check my email, then he turned to the front desk guy and said " I have no time for this"
Yes, I checked my email and I didn't paid for I said to the front desk guy, I made a mistake, I'm sorry.
My point is, the mechanic could have said, no Sir, you paid for balancing not alignment, and let me check, and could have said to me, we can't do the alignment today, would you like to book for another time? My answer ? Of course I would! But why this horrible attitude of him, like I was trying to scam him?
Now I you tell you why he doesn't have ' time for this"
I've been to different shops over the years and doesn't take an hour to change 2 tyres and balancing, some places is 30 minutes tops, but instead he just walks and talks with his colleague, I swear that if wasn't for his attitude, I would never complain over an hour job. I will never return or recommend F1, even my autistic son got distressed.
This morning I drove down on the motorway and my steering wheel was shaking badly, your mechanic are just rude, but incompetent too.

long story short. A 2013 Audi A3 has now a load of problems because of the unprofessional care and lies they told customers. The have repaired a coolant leak, and while they did that, they have damaged something at the engine and the way i found out is i drove the car from their garage and the car just stopped 5 minute later, for which they gave the car to Audi in Watford but i didnt receive no proof of what repair was done and what damage they caused. they lied and went to keep the car with no straighforward timeline when this repair will be finished. When the coolant problem came back, i went to a different garage - they mechanic told me he needs to do exactly what this garage did so i went back to them under warranty, as to why we paid all this money to them if they didnt fix it. And again, just lies - kept the car outside the garage for 4 weeks, i went there myself, again and again, to be told, they will start the work today or tomorrow and keep moving the date to pick up the car. I picked up the car 5 weeks later only to drive away and the car start leaking cooland everywhere in the car. There is a trail of proof of how the manager called Alex, is unprofessional and the mechanic there is leaving because this company doesnt care or provided support. I am now in process of gettinh this reported to Motor Ombudsman and will go to court, as the stress caused by them and all this waste of time to damage a car with excellent service history is despicable. Their complaints department and customer line care is non-existent.As well not to mentioned the manager run an MOT on the car without my permission when i personally told him to not do it. So avoid at all cost!!!

Easy online booking. Only criticism that there were not enough staff to answer phone or attend promptly to customers at the counter ( same problems at other fast fit places I've used )
