I started with Fingerhut trying to get my credit score up, It did help my credit score however everything I got from them very cheaply made, defective and monthly payment OMG I pay more to them than I do my credit cards. And it seems like the balance never goes down. So I plan on paying it off I have 600 and something dollars even though the products I got were probably worth 150. I’m wondering if I paid off is it going to hurt my credit score? I see were people say they paid off and do not use it and their credit score went down.I really regret ever starting with them. If you do not need Fingerhut please please please do not use them. You will so regret it soon after.

I ordered a stereo from Fingerhut in September 2020. I received it and had it professionally installed. Around 50 days after buying it the stereo started "glitching." It began with not being able to turn it off, sound coming and going and finally the sound permanently is gone. I've already paid 3 times what the suggested retail price of the stereo is and still owe $143 dollars. It's a generic car stereo (Boss Audio Systems Elite model # BV765BLC) that was a replacement for my factory Bose stereo. I have contacted Fingerhut numerous times and was told I'm just stuck with a defective product. Fingerhut is a massive corporation that can be classified as a "Predatory lending Corp.". They go after poor people who have been disenfranchised due to Covid-19 and other things. I am warning any and all people to avoid Fingerhut at all costs. I am astonished they have such a high rating here. Most reviews are probably Fingerhuts Corporate Bots! I know of no one that has had a pleasant experience with this company. I recommend that if you MUST order through a similar company then use Stoneberry. Com. Fingerhut has a REDICULOUSLY small warranty period.

I bought one item and paid it off. I bought and returned an item. After fees I owed 80 dollars despite having paid everything off. My credit dropped 50 points after canceling my account. So the only results for getting fingerhut was a drop in my credit and extraneous fees. If that sounds good fingerhut might be for you.

I bought bedding for my son with special needs to build my credit. The price was high and the quality was very low. I paid every month on time and a little extra. Around the time the final payment was due Covid happened to the world! I couldn't pay then I forgot. I went to pay the less than$30 that I owed and they tried to say I owed $150! That's more than five times what I owed! I offered to pay what I owed plus a little more, but they refused! How is that even legal? A loan shark would work with you better than that!

So had a Fingerhut account for about a year I never used because they were so expensive couldn't even afford the Lowest payment the shipping is more than anything you purchase so if ur items are 100 ur shipping will be 250 lma 😂 this is crazy they cancelled my account because I didn't youse it understand that it cost them money to keep it open but no reason to say my credit score went down and that was a part of it Wich it wasn't and fuckd my credit scores up be glad I didn't rip u off asshols

It's a fact I orderer 100% fake overpriced not diamond I took them to the pawn shop they said that was fake it took for ever. If you get it and you take it to see how much they actually worth less than $10 it was like $150 for one. When I called they said it was tiny diamonds but not one diamonds in the rings. The bracelets I had it supposed to have been diamond I was told they was fake too. 3 of 3 I got 2.i try to send back they told me no .I was told it was real by them.I will not get any more from them. I try to cancel one order they did not let me cancel and sent out the order the same night. I tried to cancel the rings when I try to they still mail them out.Not good jewelry at all I can get for less then 10.00.If you want to get rip off it a good deal.If not don't do it.Be a really aware !!!!They are taking advantage bring fake jewelry for people that want good credit.They will sale you fake jewelry a very very bad quality.

Good to improve credit score. You must read actual measurements of furniture and not rely on photos. I've found clothing runs small so I have only ordered sleepwear in larger sizes. I have gotten some quality items and the delivery has been good. The free shipping deals are not reasonable. The amount you must buy is really high and alot of items are ineligible for free shipping. I was supposed to pay sixteen dollars to ship a twenty three dollar pair of slippers! Not worth it.

We paid an overpriced $400 to get our daughter the LOL Chalet for Christmas. Once we put it together on Christmas Eve, we realized that an entire piece of the back section of the house was missing! This was her big present, so we took the loss and set it up that way anyways, but it was a huge disappointment.

I ordered from them last year and I had great service this year a few weeks ago I ordered I supposed to be buy one get one free on the queen size sheets it even stated on their website the beginning of January buy one get one free so I got two sets that was supposed to be for when I checked out I said buy one get one free they overcharged me the only sent me two seats when I called to see about it customer service told me that that wasn't true and I said yes it was I spoke to the manager she told me the same thing and I got mad and told him I'll never buy from them again I don't recommend Fingerhut

Ordered an insta pot that I've owned less than a year to learn the seal is not warrantied nor replaceable.
Now on to the dog beds that tore along the seam on BOTH beds (same spot on both). Un-replacable also un-refundable.
I will never order again from this rip off company

Worst experience ever I moved shortly after I was approved you can't change your address online so I finally got a chance to call (I'm very busy) 6 months later what a joke the lady said after I verified social all account information they I needed to send a copy of my social my driver's licence a utility bill I started laughing are they serious?! Your finger hut my own bank deosnt ask me for that or my credit cards

A four star rating really? This is a great site for building credit HOWEVER their customer service, package return and catalog item specifications are HORRIBLE! I have been consistent and expedient customer, Fingerhut has not been consistent or expedient in customer service at all, I had to pay for an item I had returned and get my bank(who has excellent customer service) to retrieve my money how very sad. Get ti together Fingerhut!

I purchased a $90 dollar jacket $150 pair of shoes and a $200 dollar space heater back in November of 2017 been making all my payments come to find out I still owe them 250 dollars I’ve over 450 dollars in one year. They rip you off in interest and fees. How am I paying like 2000 dollars for almost 500 worth of merchandise. When you call customer service all they do is keep switching you to different departments and you can’t understand none of them so you discuss why are you paying so much. It’s not helping your credit it’s hurting it.

I went the for the Fingerhut FreshStart program. I made a small purchase of $50 paid off on time. Just now popped up on credit report closed account. dropped 40 points no communications from them. Bad business.

i have had my account for like 2 years never missed a payment life gets busy things slip so its kind of ridiculous that they reported to my credit over one late payment when everything that i have i pay on time every time and when and if i do slip on a payment i get a few reminders pay it and all is well i would not recommend this place to anyone plus it destroys your credit.

They really suck never have any items in stock never have my size in any shoe i'm interested in. Just very poor customer service really bad to be so expensive......

I recently moved and changed my address with Fingerhut. I cometed a phone order in which they verified shipping to my new address. When the company shipped my product they shipped it to the previous address which is in a different city. I discovered the shipping error and contacted Fingerhut where they again verified my correct address and assured me my package would be rerouted. This never happened and my delivery went to my previous address. Fingerhut now insists that I did not change my address and that my order was delivered to the correct address. Be cautious of the company. I will be pursuing whatever legal action I am able to as I believe they have fraudulently kept my down payment on my order.

I purchased a rug for $120 dollars that never came despite the notification that it had been delivered. Fingerhut sent me an affidavit but after moving, moving my mom in, and a trip to the Mayo Clinic for her Sarcoidosis I managed to get it back to them. They refused to credit my account citing length of time too long to investigate. However, shipping records do not disappear in a 60 day time frame. Keep in mind, my last payment was more than the rug. Yes, paying off and closing this headache.

Having been a very long time customer I started using the safe line protection provided by fingerhut at a price. You never know! Well I ended up needing it and submitted all my medical documentation. I was approved and my account was paid off, what I owed on my purchases. A year later I decided to purchase again from fingerhut and was thrilled. When I went to use this credit it would not allow me. Contacted customer support and ended up losing my 1800.00 credit. They started me at the very beginning which is very disappointing since I always made my payments on time and always paid off my purchases. So fingerhut punishes you for making sure they get their money and protecting yourself with a program they offer. Customer service is not even close to what it used to be. They used to have caring, go out of their way reps. No more. They are short with their words, do not explain or give reasons, rude, and could care less. Currently looking for a buy now pay later business that cares about their customers like fingerhut used to.
