After my 2nd attempt my item showed up damaged again. I called cause I paid for the protection plan. I requested to please just simply send a simple replacement part but they insisted I needed to send the whole item back again to be examined. After sending them photos of the damage. At first they only wanted to give me a $20 coupon off my next purchase.. overall customer service is a joke, waste of money for the protection plan, I'm over ordering from them

I got someone else's personal information inside the package that they shipped me my order in that I ordered & when I called they didn't really seem to concerned about me getting someone else's personal information such as there name address city state & zip code & I find that totally unexceptionable

They closed my account with no notice , then they tried to charge me late fees
, when I tried to take the high road and satisfy the debt they told me to have a lawyer call them for a 100 debt they would not take payment ,Next thing you know they send it to collections ,
There is a class action law suit being organized them signup for it .

To beging I was not going rate them at all.
I had Fingerhut for years and I was in good standing, never had problem. I was just one time late because my email was compromised I couldn't make my payment so, I called customer service spoke to a young lady and started making auto payments because I didn't want my credit ruin. The next thing, I no longer have Fingerhut it was close. I continue to make payment to fingerhut and they sent me a letter from Fingerhut Fetti that I owe them money why do I have 2 accounts with Fingerhut and Fetti.
The are fraud. and Ruin my credit.

Uses bully tactics to pressure people into making a purchase for their overpriced, low quality items. Purchased a Christmas gift for someone, received the wrong item. Took until April before I finally received the correct item. I was harassed every day because I refused to pay my bill for the wrong item, but their team wouldnt file any paperwork so the dispute didn't progress. They eventually charged full price for the item because the holiday promotional period had ended, due to their delays.

Then they closed my credit account, and without my knowledge or consent, opened a new credit line under my name and social. This put a 45 point drop on my credit. If you have a fingerhut credit account, seek legal council.

These morons shipped my laptop to a whole different city them made me prove that I was not responsible for this by filing a police report.

This company will sell you a certain blanket for 140 bucks while Amazon will sell it for 20. No I don't work Amazon do the product research yourself. Heavy full size owl blanket for a full size/ queen size bed. There should be laws against stuff like that to protect the American people...Another American company screeing over Americans and we dare to call ourselves number one.

This company doesn't know how to do business at all! The customer service is bad, the way they handle customer accounts is even worse! Not the way you want to build credit.

I think you should keep better track of your inventory. Recently, I ordered a pair of sneakers and I am still waiting to receive them after nearly 1 month.

My account was incorrect for my tv deliverance and a manager gave me some crazy info and than when I ask him to check ups info he changed what he said and told me he did not know why he gave me the precious info and its hard understanding what everyone u get on the phone is saying I love ur products but ur customer service is terrible.

I would give them a zero star if it was an option. This place is most definitely a scam that disguises itself as something extremely helpful. I bought a tent back in May, and couldn’t make payments on it until July. (Not because I was unable, but because they wouldn’t allow it) I made two payments in July and made the first one late because I was out of service, and they wouldn’t let me pay ahead of time. They charged me over $40 in fee’s for being two days late. I paid another $20 payment two days later. But basically due to the fee’s my two payments did nothing; keeping my balance at $200. They never reported to the credit agency that I made the payments, and this has yet to continue into September. I’ve made four payments, no other late payment and my balance is somehow at $203. When I applied for this card it damaged my credit, and brought it down 20 points; which I figured was fine because I would grow it quickly. That was a lie; and my score has yet to go up once in 6 months because of this card. It does more damage than good, and I wish I would’ve read the reviews.

Fingerhut harasses their customers with spam mail, harasses customers with emails claiming payments haven't been made, when it clearly shows it's been paid. Fingerhut changed companies in the middle of my agreement and caused my credit to drop because it closed an account and reopened an account. I am debating on just packing my items up and sending them back, instead of finishing paying them off. Customer service is terrible. I wouldn't recommend Fingerhut or fetti to anyone.

This site is a hoax...FRADULENT! I used them to establish credit, once i did i made all my payments on time AND/OR EARLY. Paid it all off and they closed my account and i lost 80 points on my credit score. Then i had to use them to establish the credit i lost. And if thats not bad enough they automatically signed me up for SAFE LINE to pay my bill if i get behind, which costed me $200+. Yeah, thats fradulent also. They dont pay anything. DO NOT USE FINGERHUT. THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!

Fingerhut opened a new account without my permission. When I called Fingerhut to try to see why I had a $500 credit while still owing money but not showing that I owed money. They said that I owe no money I had a $500 credit limit. There was no mention about a new account or still having an old account and owing money on it. So I ordered a Xbox for my husband and I’ve been making the payments to pay back. I received a phone call last week saying that my payments are behind by two months and when I logged into the app it showed my current payments were current. I told the operator that it shows that I was current and she said no that’s for your fatty account and you still are behind on your advantage account. I asked her what she meant by that and she told me that they were closing the advantage account and they opened up a brand new account for me without my knowledge meant without permission. When I asked why I was not notified or asked if I was going to receive a letter or an email she had no knowledge meant why I did not receive one. Told me that I should be lucky that I was chosen for a new account. I did not agree to a new account I was behind two payments because they would not tell me that there was a new account. If I knew that they were going to open up a new account I would never agree to it. This Hass to be against the law they’re opening up accounts under peoples names without their knowledge meant not without their permission. I am thankful that I was not in a middle of a purchase in a brand new house because I would’ve lost that chance to buy a house. If anybody knows about lawsuits please let me know I will be happy to jump into one because this is the biggest scam on earth. If they close the advantage account is that going to affect my credit score? Is that going to go against me? I am new to the credit world I am new to building credit and I don’t need these people messing it all up. Do not go with Fingerhut. On top of it all the advantage account is nowhere to be found on the main page you had to go through accounts scroll all the way to the bottom click on a link and then go into the advantage so they were hiding the advantage from the app.

What a scam!!! Biggest mistake of my life! The original agreement with them was to make ONE monthly payment. After a year of this they decide to go with another lender and now they expect their customers to make TWO separate monthly payments. That can not be legal. So now they think they have the right to slap late fees on the 2nd account as you're making on time payments to the 1st account. A BIG SCAM!!!! (not to mention the cheap products that break/fall apart and are a nightmare to return...then there is their scam "insurance" on items. NEVER deal with this company. NOT worth it.

What a nightmare! Without my consent and my perfect payment record they closed then reopened my account under their new "fetti" company. Ruined my credit score and now I just want to pay them off and their website doesn't even exist anymore! Run from these theives!

RUN! SHUT DOWN YOUR PC! I've lived in the same house for 33 yrs and in the same zip code for most of my seventysomething yrs and have had a fair share of mis-deliveries, etc., but nothing like this absolute mess with Fingerhut. I was dumb enough to order a 300.00 laptop from them, and paid for someone to have to sign for the package. I was home when UPS said they delivered it. Well, it wasn't delivered here. FINGERHUT has sent me (so far) a total of 32 emails/messages, all telling me the same thing: TOUGH LUCK. I've given them all info, attached receipts, screenshots, filled out their Oooo This Is Gonna Get Legal form, and everythingn else. If this continues another 24 hrs, I'm calling a couple of friends from college (lawyers now for fifty years) and do something about this, because Fingerhut is that big ugly snot-nosed bully you hated in grade school, and it's not going to give up until it ruins your credit because, despite backup from UPS, Fingerhut just sent a note saying that as far as they're concerned my "case" is closed and I owe them for something I never got. STAY AWAY!

I am trying to understand why shipping is $29.99 for a $60 pro cyst. My total came out to$130. I’m paying double for an item wow! At this rate I no longer want to be a Fingerhut member. Super high shipping costs is totally not worth it. I can order through Amazon instead. I will not be closing this account but I will no longer be using it due to the incredibly high shipping costs.

A new Fingerhut Fetti credit account has replaced your previous Fingerhut Advantage credit account in My Account."

What they failed to tell us customers is that this new Fetti account would be reported as a new account to the credit bureaus. I have worked hard to raise my credit score the past few years. The new line and closing of the old account ruined all of that hard work because it dropped my credit score considerably.

And this from a company that advertises that it can increase your credit score. There should be a class action lawsuit for this.“

I’ve never used the account. Now they keep reporting it as a new account and sent me something stating If I don’t use it they will close!! All while affecting your credit score for no changes I made.
