I would not order or take a credit line out with this company they like to send you other people's orders then after you send it back they try to resend it to you it takes more than five times of arguing with them for them to fix a mistake that still hasn't even been fixed and they expect me to pay for things I didn't receive

Although some items are a little more expensive than the stores , they do stand behind what you purchase. It's nice to have the option of the monthly payment.
Pricey but worth it to build your credit.
A bit expensive but always shop in bulk and most of the time you can get free shipping. They let you make monthly payments and they help build your credit. I say their a very good company.

This is my FIRST and LAST purchase from Fingerhut.
I bought a large toy item and need to return it (never opened). I called customer service and the customer is responsible for return shipping. My issue is "oversized items may be charged a return shipping fee of up $50 upon inspection of the return." I can pay for shipping without using their label but am still at the discretion of their assessment of the product condition which they will deduct from my refund.
I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND ADVISE OTHERS TO BE AWARE OF THEIR RETURN POLICY.
I don't know how this company stays in business.

I ordered something on 10/14 and have already received a payment due. No problem, I paid it; however, I've yet to receive the item in question. With what's going on in the world I assumed it's because of shipping issues. The tracking number associated with my purchase doesn't even exist for UPS to track. Meaning there is no package, it's been delivered to the wrong place, or something else entirely. I contacted fingerhut via emails hoping for some clarity in regards to when I could expect some updates. They asked for my order number and once I provided it, they cut off the inquiry and gave me a computer generated response that if I had any further questions to contact support in the future.
Fingerhut is a complete scam, fraudulent, and it's insane they can get away with this.

If I could give them 0 stars I would!! I have never missed a payment and every time I’m done paying an item off customer service states I’ve missed a payment, but can’t tell me when. Horrible customer service just a outright scam the have ruined my credit score for a second time!! Stay away!!!!

I've bout a few things through fingerhut and raised my credit line from 300 to 1200...the fact still remains...it's cheap junk!!! I can buy the same online for a third of the cost. Even less at a spring yard sale

FingerHut SUCKS!!!!! Almost 2 years now I havent been able to place ANY orders with them. Always get the message "One or more items cannot ship to Hawaii because of legal restrictions"...and I cannot buy ANY THING at all no matter the cost. No one tries to help figure out the problem either. My credit has been going down down down because I cannot place a stupid order. Now - in December 2021; I'm about to lose my credit line entirely due to no activity because I cant buy anything from this hopeless company. If that's the case you know where you can stick that credit FingerHut! Worthless Company! FYI: Buy from Amazon, Walmart or Ebay often much cheaper than this ripoff company.

Beware. Promised me a coupon for 25% off next month if I placed an order for anything this month. Was surprised to get a 30% off coupon instead. Only problem is I can’t use it. When I call customer service and give them the code number they’ve never heard of it. Will pay them off and that’s it. They overcharge for shipping too.

I called Customer Service in the process of moving to provide new address and new debit card information for my account. I thought this was handled so, a call came in from Fingerhut stating I owed 46.00 dollars and change. Immediately I explain I called into Customer Service to provide all information regarding my auto- payment to make sure no problems occurred. The young lady who called could barely speak English . She explained my account was late. I said no it is not because I provided everything as far as my debit card to make sure my auto- payment would be withdrawn on the date my payment is due. I went ahead and paid a 46.00 payment and this month on October 2021 I am receiving a bill for (2) 46.00 dollar payment which total is 93.98 plus a late fee of 29.00 dollars altogether is 104.09
Question: What happen to the 46.00 dollar payment never applied to my account. Also, I told the young lady in Sept2021 If this late 30 day payment goes on my account I would have an attorney to represent me now, when calling for a month plus no one will talk to me hang up the phone when I call and on October 2,2021 refused to give me any information concerning my bill. Fingerhut representative stated you’ll have to send us a letter in writing that you do not have an attorney before we can talk with you concerning your account. I ‘be never had a late payment. I did nothing wrong other than paid my bill on time monthly. I hope they correct this error off my credit report ASAP because this is unlawful.

Worst. Company. Ever.
I bought a few things from the company 7 years ago and I made sure to get it all set up on the 20th of the month (I get paid on the 15th) and I wanted to make sure a had a few days cushion from pay day to due day which is supposed to be that day (the 20th) every following month. Well the first of the month rolls around on the following month and low and behold my bill is due THAT DAY. So I called and it turns out they put my due day for the first not the 20th. I tried explain what happened and try to get them to move the day to the right day and no luck. Then I tried to explain that I get paid on the 15th and basically got an "oh well. Maybe you should just make an extra payment for the following month." From then on I kept getting charged for 2 weeks of late payment every month for a screw up on THEIR end.

I would put zero star but you can’t. So back in 2015 I got a FH card. I didn’t end up getting my order over $300. So I was told to file a police report if we didn’t get it. Well I did that and asked for my account to be closed. Fast forward to 2019 I’m being sued for over $600 bc of fees and nonpayment. I showed proof of my police report for not getting my items. That wasn’t good enough. I had to go to count. The woman on the phone told me my case was dropped and closed. To turn around and find out she didn’t have that right and I’m still being sued for the items I never got. I haven’t sent them a penny. I will not send them any money. I DONT NOT GET MY ITEMS AND I SHOWED PROOF OF MY POLICE REPORT. NOT MY FAULT YOUR EMPLOYEE CANT DO THIER JOB.

One star is too much for this company. The customer service is so terrible. The products are overpriced and defective. I have been dealing with a return for 3 months. The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I am waiting 3 months for my refund. I am still waiting. DO NOT BUY HERE, RIP OFF!
