I would not recommend FlyPark Compare's meet and greet service at Gatwick South.

On departure, I followed their instructions and called 30 minutes before arriving at the designated drop-off point. Despite this, I was left waiting around 45 minutes after I arrived. There was no apology or explanation for the delay.

When the driver finally arrived, he got out of the car, but unfortunately he spoke very little English and struggled to understand me. He simply asked for my keys and drove away. As I was already running late for check-in, I asked for some paperwork or a receipt for handing over my vehicle. I was given nothing. Handing over your car without any documentation is not a reassuring experience.

Things didn't improve on my return. Due to my flight being cancelled, I called at 8:00 am to ask if I could collect my car earlier than originally booked. I was told it would be ready by 12:00 pm, but once again they failed to deliver on what they promised, and I didn't receive my car until around 12:30 pm.

While 30 minutes may not seem significant on its own, combined with the departure delay, poor communication, lack of documentation, and the overall unprofessional service, it reflects a company that simply doesn't value its customers' time.

Overall, this was a stressful and disappointing experience. I would never use this service again and certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable meet and greet parking service at Gatwick.

Communications, lax staff (no uniforms so clearly dodgy), run by students, long wait times for car drop off and return - seriously would have been cheeper and quicker to use an off site car park with a bus to terminal. Got the car back filthy, fuel mostly used (half a tank gone), stinking of smoke. NEVER USE THESE OPERATORS. Totally unprofessional and hopeless.

I wish I had read these reviews before booking; it was my error. They are absolutely awful, and I am amazed the company continues to operate.
We were asked to call 30 minutes before arrival, but there was no answer. I tried six times and in the end, I left a message. When I finally got through, I was already at the airport. I explained that I had tried calling and had left a voicemail. The angry voice at the other end snapped that I shouldn’t do that! They were incredibly RUDE and showed zero customer service.
This appalling level of service continued when the driver turned up. He had no ID or paperwork to show, never once looked me in the eye, and never smiled or offered any kind of reassurance. Alarm bells were ringing by now. Fortunately, my son helped me keep calm, and we told the man to leave.
There was no way I was giving my keys to this angry man from a company so devoid of care or consideration for others. STAY AWAY. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE. I never want anyone else to go through this right before a holiday. You won’t enjoy your break if you are constantly worrying about where your car may end up.

Worst service ever. This is a joke company with the worst service ever. You wait for hours for your car on return. And then pay the airport car park fee. Ridiculous. Rude people on the phone too just referring to T&Cs saying it takes at least an hour from your call to them. Joke

The worst airport parking service I have ever used. We waited an hour and a half for our car to be returned. When it finally arrived it was filthy.

The tyre repair kit was unpacked and left on the back seat and had clearly been used. I called the company to find out if the car was safe but all they said was that as soon as they gave me the key they absolved themselves of all responsibility.

Rude, unpleasant staff on the phone and overall a terrible experience. I will never use meet and greet again. Long stay and a bus is a quicker and safer option than dealing with rogue traders like this outfit.

Got to the location advised on the email. Called to day id arrived at agreed location ... I was then spat at down the phone, 'I told you green car park!'. Then when we arrived at Green car park a 10 min walk away from 'meet and greet' as sold, my number was then blocked and number was disconnected.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
SCAM. FRAUD. THEFT.

This company FAILED to meet me!
After accepting one phone call they blocked my phone so I couldn't talk to them. I called them on another phone and then they blocked that as well
DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!
I was forced into booking with another firm on the day that of course cost me a LOT.
STAY CLEAR OF THEM!

Absolutely terrible company wish I’d read the reviews before. First of all when we arrived to drop the car they are men stood in trackies/ no uniform and no info to give us, they just took our keys in the middle of the car park and we just hoped the whole holiday it was all going to be fine. They say they track your flight but then our flight was delayed an hour and when we arrived there was still no car & no people from the company. We called them and said they would be 45 minutes until they bought the car to us bearing in mind it’s nearly 2 am in the morning and we have another two hour drive ahead of us to get home. Awful organisation, zero communication and then just to top things off they CHARGED US for having a delayed flight and wouldn’t give hs the keys without the payment. SPAM AVOID !!!!!!

Cheap - you get what you pay for.

2 hours wait for car to be delivered on return 9 we were with several families who had also waited for more than 2 hours)
No updates / contact and when trying to call the provider - the phone went to voicemail ( which was full)
Car returned filthy and damaged.
I am currently making a claim against them for the damage

Absolutely terrible - do not use. We are still sitting at Gatwick 1.5 hours after speaking to company. Still only getting ‘will be with you soon’ and ‘cannot give you a time’. No sign of our car. Just park in a proper car park and get the bus - it’s a lot quicker and cheaper!!!

Please report this company to trading standards. I have already reported them. If you want to get robbed than book with this company

Avoid using Fly Park Compare and book with the airport directly.

This company is a comparison website but they do not care which companies they use and offer to their customers. Many companies will be rogue parking companies that will leave your car damaged, with stolen items, or simply with a service that leaves you stranded for hours at the airport.

The platform does not allow you to actually see which company will be handling g your parking.

Again, this is a COMPARISON website but they do not care which companies they hook you up with. The actual airport parking is not that much more expensive and in some cases even cheaper.

Would not recommend this service. I feel hoodwinked as you don’t see the name of the service provider until you’ve paid when booked via the comparison service and I wouldn’t have booked if I had seen this reviews. We were allocated Sapphir parking. Firstly, it feels so dodgy being met in a car park by a random person holding a bit of paper. You then have to pay for the car park ticket in addition (£14 both times!) and on collection we spoke to a guy who told us to wait and then vanished, so I called again after 10 minutes and they told us where the car was and said they’d left our car key on top of the wheel!!! So unprofessional and never again.

AVOID. Hidden charges. They set me up with service provider iPark who were a dodgy cowboy outfit who get 300+ 1 star reviews, so I guess they just don’t care or check who they have on their portal. I doubt they are Gatwick approved. Communication was rude during the 4 calls I needed to make during my 2 hour wait for my car, each time the car was only “5 minutes away”. Car was returned faulty.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they are a price comparison site who allow bogus parking companies to sell their services to those seeking airport parking. Instead, book directly with the airport.

Terrible customer service from start to finish.

The collection instructions sent by email were poorly written and confusing, which led to problems when we went to collect our car. When I called for help, the man I spoke to was dismissive and patronising and basically rude. He actually laughed when I asked where my car was and spoke to me in a condescending manner because I hadn't interpreted the email the way they intended. If the instructions had been written clearly in the first place, none of this would have happened.

I could hear other people in the background laughing during the call, which made the whole experience feel incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. Thankfully I wasn't a female travelling on my own, as I think this would be quite threatening.

We also overcharged for the parking ticket.

I would not recommend this company based on my experience, unless you want to be spoken to like a gangster or road man. So disrespectful.

The worst experience! Left us waiting 1.5 hours at 3am for the pick up collection. Every time I called the company, they hung up on me or put me on hold. Wouldn’t give me an ETA. They originally said the shuttle came every 30 minutes. When I got back to my car, the mileage had gone up, petrol had lowered and there was dusty footprints all in the footwells on every seat!

We booked Heathrow meet & greet through flyparkcompare. Delivering vehicle was straight forward. On our way back, we were supposed to get our car at 6pm, we only got it at 7.45pm. Several times we were lied to (we have a tracker in our car); the vehicle was not in motion when the service provider told us it was.
On the companies T&C’s they claim that they are only a management company and not responsible for the service provided. Certainly, they should vet their service providers so that they can ensure a high service quality. The company Gregg Maurice Parking is not even in this review list.

Terrible service and no information about anything. Extra hidden costs.
