The cushion was well made to my requirements, I dropped a star as to delivery was rather vague and I had to check what was happening a couple of times. Thanks for replying and explanation makes sense

I placed an order but wasn't sure about whether I had ordered the best foam type for my requirements. I left a message via the website and someone phoned me the next day to advise. I'm happy with the product and with the help I had. Ordering was easy and the foam was delivered on time.

On a Friday afternoon I ordered two foam sheets of 40mm x 179cm x 75cm online and completed the order. Overnight I suddenly had the feeling my measurements were wrong and decided to check my order and to my horror discovered I had entered the measurements in mm’s and therefore the 179cm was actually 179mm’s.
Early Saturday morning I sent 3 emails to various addresses to Foam4U to try and cancel my order as no telephone lines were open until 10am on a Saturday. At 10am I decided to telephone which was answered by Mark, the MD.
I explained my mistake and basically Mark said ‘no problem’. He cancelled my order, reordered with new measurements and I paid the difference (obviously higher) over the phone.
I was kept up to date with the order process and yesterday (less than 2 weeks) the foam sheets arrived and fitted perfectly.
I’m happy with the product and procedure and the ‘Customer Service’ given by Mark. All I would say is to anyone ordering, carefully check you have entered the measurements correctly. The site will NOT take a mixture of measurements, i.e some mm’s, some cm’s or inches.
Thank you Foam4u for your understanding and sorting out my mistake.

Fantastic company. Kept me totally updated re my order and when delivered excellent quality very well made and totally as described 👍 now replacing cushion bought from a main high street retailer which went pancake flat within a couple of weeks, these definitely will not! So for me great service and products, can’t say more than that.

Good quality product

I needed new sofa seat covers. I found Foam4u online. I ordered some fabric swatches from a link on their website, emailed them details of what I needed and asked for a quote.
This resulted in a phone call from the sales manager, who was keen to seal a deal there and then, entreating me to place an order and pay in full to take advantage of a time limited special offer.
All I had wanted at this stage was a quote. I told him I hadn’t yet had the fabric swatches back, but he swiftly reassured me he had lots of fabrics and if they couldn’t find a match, they’d refund me. Fair enough. I agreed to proceed on that basis and paid £650.
Five weeks later… attempts by Foam4u to find a fabric match from their supplies had unfortunately resulted in nothing suitable. I said this fabric search had gone on long enough, so time to cancel the order and please refund me, as agreed.
I was told made to measure orders can’t be cancelled, despite the fact they hadn’t even started to make anything. I was accused of being the cause of the delay, because I hadn’t chosen any fabric. Then I was told to find my own fabric. This was not what I had agreed with them.
They said they would only refund the cost of the generic fabric, on condition that I supply my own, or else I’d be sent their costs for breach of contract. This response was quite unecessary and unreasonable.
So here we are. I hope Foam4u will read this, decide to honour the agreement and refund me my £650. In which case they’ll have done the decent thing and I am happy to update my review accordingly. If they refuse ….well, that tells you all you need to know. I’ll pursue my refund and will report back the outcome on Trustpilot.

UPDATE - my response to Foam4u's reply

By Foam4u’s logic:

1) If they don’t have a fabric match (bearing in mind they are in the business of supplying upholstery fabric), I have to find my own match.

2) If I can’t find my own match, I can’t send them any fabric to make covers.

3) If I can’t send them any fabric to make covers, they will keep all my money. This is despite knowing they will never need to buy any fabric or make any covers.

It’s such an unreasonable approach for a business to take towards its customers.
And as it is not what I agreed would happen, I will carry on pursuing my refund.

I received my cushions in the allotted time frame. They are perfect for what I want

Received my order of 2 sofa back support cushions today, absolute fabulous quality and more importantly they fitted my existing covers (which I was nervous about!) so their online guide reference measuring was spot on. Soon as I can afford it I will be ordering 2 more of the same for my second matching sofa. Top rate service from start to finish, really pleased, thank you!

Great service and a great produce

The cushion arrived but completely the wrong size: it was tiny. I'm not sure what went wrong as I rechecked my measurements thoroughly at the time of ordering. It may have been my fault, but sadly the cushion interior, although of excellent quality, was only a fraction of the size I wanted.

Fast delivery. Item as expected. Good price compared to other sites.

Replacement base cushion inserts and feather cushion inserts for the scatter cushions fitted perfectly and have given our 10 year old sofas another 10 years of life, it now feels as comfortable as it did when new. I would highly recommend Foam4u
