The order online was very good. Polite professional sales when i bought a prado bed and mattress. I was confirmed the bed would be taken to my upstairs room on delivery.
However the delivery man was unfriendly and refused to put the boxes and mattress in top second room . Considering i am old retired person I was disappointed and it was extremely unhelpful and inconsiderate of delivery man

The extra service on the day should you require room service is between you and the driver. However, the driver can refuse as the driver is not obliged to do so. Furthermore, it is a one man delivery service hence the door service only.
If the driver was unpleasant/rude then we will investigate this further. We do not expect any of our drivers to speak to any of our customers in such a manner.

Delivery Chaos
Delivery and customer service absolutely awful. I received a single text message with a 4-hour delivery window for my sofa. I took time out to work from home and ensured I was in the house during this time. I had to reshuffle a host of other things to ensure this was so. I was also annoyed that a random charge of £20 cash was to be demanded of me should I ask for any help taking the item inside as this was not made clear during the purchase flow online. The fact that the text was not from an official courier also concerned me. It did not mention where it was being delivered to or who the courier company was.
I had a single missed call from the same number that sent the text message at 3:24pm that day - I missed the call because I have my phone on silent to avoid being interrupted every 5 minutes at work by calls. When I tried to call this number back a number of times at 4:09 to find out what was going on there was no answer (they were probably driving). I then called the company itself as I was frustrated that I had had a missed call but nobody had knocked on my door. I would have heard them as my two dogs would have barked loudly. I voiced my frustrations, admittedly in an increasingly heated manner due to how I was being spoken to like a moron for having missed a phone call. Due to the random £20 charge mentioned in the text message to take the item inside the likelihood that the courier had just drop called and given up without even getting out of their car seemed plausible. This consequently greatly vexed me as a phone call is no substitute for knocking on the door as constituting sufficient effort to deliver the item. Especially considering I had rearranged my entire day for the delivery.
This is how the situation currently looked to me, however, it turns out that they had tried to deliver to my billing address (my parent's house in Wales). There was no sense of understanding from the customer service representative about why I was so upset about this prior to learning that they had attempted to deliver to a different address - I wasn't actually initially upset but their patronizing tone and absurd expectations that I shouldn't have missed that one call from the courier (I often have my phone on silent in order to mitigate the intrusive effect of phone calls on my working day) escalated the situation beyond what I felt comfortable. Continually threatening to hang up and calling out my frustration as being unwarranted only served to escalate the situation. The customer service representative gleefully accused me of not using a delivery address that was different to my billing address and very smugly said "don't worry we all make mistakes." I went through again to check the exact purchasing flow and where the mistake could have been made. Turns out that there is no option to add a different delivery address to the billing address.
I was then belittled and spoken down to for the remainder of the conversation in some sort of bizarre power struggle to get a product that I had paid for delivered because the customer service representative had perceived my frustration at the situation as apparently unwarranted. He continued to escalate the conversation beyond what was professional in a way that was patronizing and therefore increasingly infuriating. I left the phone call just wanting a refund. I later sent a bunch of screen shots outlining how the purchasing flow did not allow for an alternative delivery address to be specified. To their credit they have tried to rearrange the delivery but I have no idea whether it will be timely or they will charge me for it.

I can confirm since this incident occurred we have successfully delivered your item to the delivery address.
The website, however does give you the option to select the billing address and then the shipping address. Therefore, we are unsure why this would have happened. Furthermore, whilst placing the order if there was no option for you to add a shipping address, then you could have easily contacted us and made us aware and we would have updated the delivery details for you without hesitation.
IN regards to the £20 fee mentioned, this would have only popped up in conversation if you had assisted delivery into your property. Delivery Tcs&Cs are free kurb side delivery to the door only or to the communal entrance of a building if the property is an apartment or flat.
The delivery service is a one man service hence the delivery to the door only. The driver is not obliged to enter your property. However, if you had insisted the driver deliver inside the property then a fee would have been discussed/arranged with you prior to the order coming out.

All deliveries are a free kurb side delivery to the door only if a house or communal entrance if an apartment/flat. (Please refer to the Ts&Cs on our website) Therefore, the driver isn't obliged to take goods into the property. Furthermore, the service provided is a one man delivery service only hence the reason.
Also, If there was damage occurred whilst doing so. Therefore, it protects the driver and yourself if that was to happen.
We would have asked the driver on this occasion to assist take it in as a goodwill gesture, with no charge. Any extra service is between the customer and the driver and if you require extra services then the driver would charge a small fee. Which in this case he did not.

Worst customer service
Disappointing that I had to give 1 star at all.
Delivery arranged twice, each time they promised to call 30 mins before, never received a call. I emailed them 3 times and didnât get a response until I complained to the contractor.
I then received some off hand responses that it was my fault that I wasnât in when I clearly was and that they were keeping my money.

In order to arrange delivery we need to be able to get in touch with you via phone or email.
We called you on numerous occasions to arrange the delivery, we also left text messages. Furthermore, emailed you that we are trying to arrange delivery. And for you to provide a valid contact number.
This was provided after the first failed attempt of delivery which we attempted to delivery even though you did not confirm the time slot provided. You then emailed to ask where your delivery was as you have been waiting indoors since 8am. Furthermore, we provided you with images of the driver outside your property at 8:27am. However, no one was at the address and as the number provided at the time was incorrect the driver could not get in touch with you.
The second attempt was made a few days later which you did confirm via email and provided a valid contact number. However, for the second time no one was present at the property and no answer when the driver attempted to call you.
We followed all our necessary guidelines to remain in contact with you at all times both via email and call. It's unfortunate this has resulted with your order not reaching you and bearing in mind yes, we do offer free delivery. However, each attempt has been at a cost to us.
I believe an agent is in contact with you, your request will be resolved in a timely manner.
