Upon reviewing our records, we have identified that multiple reviews appear to have been submitted regarding the same order (Order No. 301030), including reviews submitted from different accounts. As both reviews relate to the same transaction and customer experience, we respectfully request that this be taken into consideration in accordance with Trustpilot's review guidelines regarding duplicate reviews and multiple reviews relating to the same buying experience.
We remain committed to resolving any outstanding concerns and encourage the customer to continue communicating with us directly so that we can work towards a satisfactory resolution.

After carefully reviewing your order and our correspondence, we would like to clarify a few points regarding this matter.

We acknowledge that there were initially some missing screws and a locking nut. As advised to you, the required parts needed to be specially ordered from the supplier. In our email dated 28 May 2026, we informed you that we expected to receive the parts from the supplier within approximately 2–3 weeks and that they would be dispatched to you immediately upon receipt. You agreed to this proposed resolution at the time.

We would also like to clarify that we offered you the option of returning the item for a full refund. This was clearly communicated in our emails dated 26 May 2026 at 10:22:32 and 28 May 2026 at 15:13:14. As we did not receive any further communication rejecting this option, we understood that you were satisfied with the agreed resolution and preferred to wait for the replacement parts.

While we understand your frustration regarding the delay, we respectfully believe that we provided clear and reasonable solutions, including both replacement parts and a return-for-refund option. If a customer chooses to wait for replacement components rather than return the item for a refund, the resulting supplier lead time is unfortunately outside of our direct control.

We would also like to clarify that all of our products are supplied in flat-pack form and require self-assembly. Customers may choose to assemble the item themselves or hire a third-party assembly service at their own discretion. In this case, we note that you hired an assembly service and subsequently provided us with an cost for £40. As stated in our Terms and Conditions, which were accepted at the time of purchase, we do not cover third-party assembly costs.

Finally, we would like to reassure readers that we have been trading since 2007 and have successfully served thousands of customers. The vast majority of our customers are satisfied with both our products and our after-sales support, and we always strive to provide fair and reasonable resolutions whenever issues arise.

We are sorry that you remain dissatisfied and would still be happy to assist further if required. We would also like to provide an update regarding the replacement parts. As advised in our email dated 28 June 2026, we are currently awaiting delivery from our supplier, which is expected to arrive within approximately the next week. Once the parts are received, they will be dispatched to you without any further delay. We have kept you informed throughout this process and continue to work towards resolving the matter as quickly as possible.

The issue reported was related to missing and/or duplicate parts. Upon receiving your notification, our support team promptly confirmed that we would resolve the issue by providing the required parts. Initially, we advised that the incorrect parts could be collected and exchanged; however, following our discussions and to avoid any further inconvenience, we agreed to dispatch the required parts directly to you without requiring the return of the extra parts.
Throughout our correspondence, we clearly advised that the required parts were being dispatched and that we would provide courier and tracking details as soon as the shipment left our warehouse. Unfortunately, replacement parts cannot always be dispatched immediately, as they must first be processed by the relevant department and prepared for shipment.

We would also like to clarify that all of our products are supplied with assembly instructions and are intended for self-assembly. While customers are welcome to hire third-party assembly services if they wish, any costs associated with such services are the responsibility of the customer. We are unable to accept liability for assembly charges incurred without our prior authorization.

Regarding communication, we respectfully disagree with the suggestion that your concerns were ignored. Our records show that every email received from you was responded to, and our replies consistently explained the status of your replacement parts and the next steps in the process. While we understand your frustration, we believe our communications were clear and provided the information available at the time.
We would also like to note that during a telephone conversation, concerns were raised regarding leaving negative feedback before we had been given a reasonable opportunity to complete the resolution process. Despite this, our team continued to work towards resolving the issue and arranging the dispatch of the required parts.

After carefully reviewing the matter, we would like to clarify that our agreement with the delivery company is for delivery to the hallway/ground-floor entrance of the property. Any request for the goods to be moved further into the property, such as to a living room or another room of choice, is at the discretion of the delivery crew and is not a service included within our standard delivery contract.

We would also like to highlight that it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the ordered items will fit through all access points, including doorways, hallways, staircases, and any other relevant areas of the property before placing an order. To assist with this, we provide detailed product dimensions on our website. Many customers review these measurements in advance, and where additional information is required, they contact us before purchasing so we can provide further guidance.

In relation to the delivery company, we have worked with JBS2MAN Delivery for a considerable period and they successfully complete a large number of deliveries on our behalf every day. The vast majority of our customers are satisfied with their service, and we generally receive positive feedback regarding their professionalism and reliability.

That said, we appreciate that your experience did not meet your expectations. We value all customer feedback and will ensure that your comments are passed on to the delivery company for their review.

We would like to clearly clarify that the courier service we use provides a damage protection guarantee. We have used this courier service on many occasions and, to date, we have not received similar complaints regarding damage.

While we acknowledge that damage can occasionally occur with pallet deliveries depending on handling during transit, we have generally received positive feedback from our customers regarding the reliability of this service.

Overall, our customers are satisfied with the courier service we use, and we continue to receive positive responses regarding deliveries.

After carefully evaluating the case, we can confirm that it is clearly stated in our Terms and Conditions under the Delivery section that we do not cover Isle of Wight postcodes PO30–PO41 as part of our standard delivery service.

However, as a gesture of goodwill and in response to your enquiry, we agreed to obtain a special delivery quotation for your location. The courier charge for this service is £195 including VAT, and we have therefore provided you with the exact amount quoted to us. We do not add any additional charges to this cost.

The Isle of Wight is considered a remote location for many of our delivery partners, and most of our standard couriers do not deliver to this area. As a result, we are required to arrange a special consignment through an alternative carrier, which incurs significantly higher transportation costs.
While we appreciate that other retailers may have offered lower delivery charges in the past, each company operates with different courier agreements and delivery networks. Unfortunately, we cannot comment on the pricing structures of other businesses.

As all delivery restrictions and applicable information are clearly outlined within our Terms and Conditions, we do not believe it is reasonable to hold us responsible if a customer chooses not to proceed due to the additional delivery charges required for a remote location.

We appreciate your understanding and thank you for considering our products. However, you may arrange your own courier and collect the product from our Bolton Showroom. Our sales team will be happy to assist you with the boxes details.

Unfortunately, it appears that the item was not suitable for your available space due to the dimensions required for your home. As a result, you decided to exchange the item for an alternative product.

Our dedicated customer support team clearly explained the exchange process, including the fact that a third-party courier is required to collect the item from your address and return it to our warehouse. These services incur costs that are charged to us by the courier company.

As outlined in our Terms and Conditions, returns or exchanges for items that are not faulty and are simply no longer wanted or unsuitable are subject to a collection charge. This policy was available prior to purchase and forms part of the terms accepted when placing the order.

While we understand that additional costs can be frustrating, we do not believe it is reasonable to hold us responsible when an incorrect size is ordered and the applicable collection charges have been clearly communicated and agreed to. We have, however, done our best to assist throughout the process and facilitate the exchange requested.
