The delivery team and Lola and Sean in Customer Care have been excellent in helping to get my replacement table ordered. It's a shame that the original was damaged but everyone has been very helpful in sorting it out to order a replacement. I hope it comes soon.

Very good customer service and good knowledge on mattress

The gentleman mr kira chim was very helpful throughout my time in the shop,
He described the product to me in fine detail etc.

Valentino the sales agent was very helpful and helped us buy Sofa. Overall a very positive experience.

It was a person called Mark who helped us in Furniture Village, Reading.

He was very helpful and knowledgeable, which made it so much easier to decide on which mattress we required.

Altogether a very pleasant shopping experience.

Furniture Village in Reading were great. Mark L. Was very professional and polite. No pressure while choosing sofa bed and very helpful! Delivery was quick, delivery drivers were very kind and carrying. Rizny, Don and Rausheed did very good job 👍 This is the second time we purchased furniture from Furniture Village and we had only good experience! Will return in the future!

The sales assistant Marky was extremely helpful regarding the choice of suite, he was polite and attentive throughout and the transaction was completed with the minimum of fuss

The store was quiet as it was midweek. Store assistant very helpful and professional without being pushy…..Arrived at a good deal for our purchase. Recommended!

Jimmy, the sales exec from the store in Reading was really helpful and clearly knew his stuff across the entire range of products. He wasn't pushy on the sales side but answered all our questions and gave us enough information to make our own choices regarding bed and mattress.

Terrible Experience

Purchased a £1,700 dining table and chairs from Furniture Village Reading Forbury Retail park, and realised within hours that the measurements would not fit my home. I contacted the store at opening time the very next morning to cancel (calls, voicemail, email, and in person).

Despite requesting cancellation within 24 hours and before any delivery or processing, I was told I must pay a 25% penalty (£425) to cancel. Exchange was allowed but only if it equals £1700. Tried to choose other items but did not like anything.
I was also told someone would definitely call on Monday to confirm the cancellation — no one contacted me as promised. Stressed out that £1700 is stuck for don't know how long.

No goods have been delivered. Charging £425 for cancelling the next day feels completely disproportionate and unreasonable.

the staff in the shop and on the phone were polite, kind and very helpful. we purchased a mattress which in the end did not suit us so we were able to swap it. there was no fuss or questioning our request just 'of course we will collect the original and deliver the replacement for free'
we have one that suits now and still can't quite believe how well we were treated. Our thanks to all especially Roisin the general manager.
we hope she adds a beautiful baby to the team.

Having bought two reclining sofas back in June it was disappointing that the reckoning mechanism on one of the seats has developed a fault. The measure of a quality company though is how they handle that and when speaking with Ankush today in after sales support they have immediately arranged for an engineer to come and take a look. Good work Furniture Village and thank you Ankush

I recently purchased furniture from Furniture Village, and I’m very happy with my experience. The product quality is excellent and exactly as described. The furniture looks beautiful and feels very sturdy.

The staff I met is Kira from reading outlet, were extremely friendly, helpful, and patient throughout the whole process. They answered all my questions and made sure I chose the right product for my home.

The prices are genuine and reasonable for the quality offered. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant shopping experience. I would definitely recommend Furniture Village to anyone looking for stylish and high-quality furniture.

Brilliant service. No pushy salesman and Jimmy only came to help when we were baffled by extension operation. Listened to what we wanted and showed us a few options but all the time not pressing for a sale. Lovely to deal with. Thank you.

When you enter the store you feel you are looking at a quality layout. Staff very helpful and professional, actually approach you, not run away.

Valentino was very helpful and attentive but also gave us the space to consider our options and discuss between us privately.
