Michael was exceptionally professional and attentive to our needs and preferences. He made sure that the experience was as comfortable as possible and will definitely be coming back again in the future to this branch! 5 stars would have been 6 if there was the option.

Edward was very helpful without being pushy. He knew the product well and was flexible with the price

Friendly delivery men, all rubbish taken away and everything assembled and in situ before leaving

2 weeks delivery date , out of nowhere just 3 days before agreed delivery date, became 8 weeks. They menace you with high cancellation fee.
A company to avoid.

The sales person explained the different kinds of models that were available .
The piece of furniture which we ordered is ideal for our specific needs in terms of comfort and a good range of upholstery fabric was available.

Salesman in shop was very good. Did not try to hustle me which happens in some shops.
Very easy to buy furniture. Booked my delivery date as stock showed ok.
The problem was with the delivery!!!
Were meant to deliver before. 0815 but was then changed to 10.30 which was Ok. Received message to say I was next & they would be here within the next 30 mins.
No-one came.Then received a message to say they could not deliver( no reason given). No notification to explain what the problem is.
I checked my order on tracker and apparently they HAVEN'T MADE IT YET!!!!!
Very unhappy customer.
NO COMMUNICATION TO SAY WHEN I WILL GET MY ORDER.

My daughter had purchased a 3 seater & a 2 seater settee from Furniture Village & as my wife & I wanted a couple of 2 seater settees & a footstall we decided to try them. We saw the item we wanted as soon as we walked into the store. We were served by Michael who was very friendly & remembered our daughter. Apart from the incorrect footstall being ordered everything went smoothly. I contacted the store re. the footstall & they refunded over £200.00 immediately. So far we are very pleased with the customer service.

I've waited 3 weeks for someone to come and repair faults on our 2 new chairs , only to be told the day before the prebooked and previously confirmed appointment that he can't now attend. I now have to wait yet another 2 weeks before they can attend just for an inspection/repair. Not happy!

We ordered our mattress before our house sale fell through and Chris has been amazing keeping in touch with us and helping us to push our delivery date back whilst we found a new house!
Exceptional customer service from Chris Jenkins…we cannot thank you enough!

Disgraceful behaviour from two members of staff this afternoon. They conducted a loud and inappropriate conversation about women with a third party on the telephone. I was clearly in view, browsing the shop floor whilst they made their openly derogatory and sexist comments. Upon telling them their comments were offensive, one offered his apology. Downstairs I asked to speak to a manager to be told that the gentlemen in question were managers. Shocking and unprofessional. I won't be returning.

In two words Michael Hackworthy he made shopping and buying my new sofa a real joy, he was more than helpful a great knowledge of his product he made the purchase very easy and would always recommend your Stevenage branch and especially Michael to my friends, I will certainly be going back in the future.

Phillip was helpful and attentive but not pushy. Store was laid out well and felt welcoming.

Very helpful salesmen (Chris) easy to find furniture

Ordered on Friday, old suite taken away Tuesday and new suite delivered Wednesday. No hassle no stress. Totally efficient. Very happy customer -suite looks great too!

The shop itself was very good . The salesman Edward was great. We bought a lot from them and the staff in the shop were great. The delivery was on time and put together with speed and ease. However the sideboard we ordered with our furniture was damaged. The driver who said would report this . Did not and took a cheeky picture with the door on before I opened it and it fell off. Several chase up phone calls and online chats . Still waiting for this door to be put back on. After sales poor

Customer satisfaction is high in their priority. From the moment we arrived we were informed about the extended parking as a customer, a beverage & cookie facilities and their guidance/service when we wanted it. No hard sale. We were allowed to take our time in sampling the sofas and offered advice when asked about any queries we had. An excellent experience.

I went in with my Husband to buy a bed on Saturday the 9th May. And was greeted by Crina who was very helpful and took time to listen to our requirements. I was initially overwhelmed as buying the right bed to suit our needs can be quite daunting. Crina shared her knowledge and was able to explain what would suit our needs and made measurements which helped us come to a decision. She was patient and was very friendly. I left the store feeling very satisfied that i chose the right bed and was happy with the customer service that i received at the Stevenage branch.

Michael and Ed were very helpful and welcoming. Great prices and an overall great service. Thank you 😊
