Having not purchased this type of collectible before I was new to where is best and safe to buy from. I came across this website, saw a great price and purchased. Then read reviews later which isn’t like me which showed some negative responses. I am pleased to say my experience was great! I needed to ask a question so emailed the website, had a prompt response to my question, then waited for my delivery. I received a tracking number which allowed me to track via Royal Mail and today I received my delivery. Packaging was great and the condition of the item was brilliant. Already ordered two more items. My only observation would be that I did not receive any email from the website to confirm once my order was shipped and had to work out that the royal mail tracking number was for that but that’s it. Thanks again geeky nerd toys for offering a good service and good product at a great price!

I was hesitant about ordering due to the negative reviews, but a quick call to the owner, Nick, and he confirmed the items I was interested in (Home Alone three figure set) were in stock and ready to ship.

So I placed my order on Monday (at about midday) and my order arrived on Wednesday morning. The items are in perfect condition having been well protected in a sturdy outer box and with foam pellets. It seems that the auto-emails at every order stage that we're used to from Amazon et al isn't a function at Geeky Nerd, so I had to jump on their online chat function to check the status of my shipment, but I'll take that when the prices are so much lower (the same order would have cost me double anywhere else, at over than £100 more).

It seems the keyboard warriors are out in force, and perhaps it's a different matter if it's a pre-order (which can always be a bit traumatic) but my order was perfect.

Ok, so I can only blame myself after reading the other reviews but thought I would still take the gamble. It didn’t pay off.
Ordered a Christmas present for my son (£70) on the 12th November which said it was in stock, received an email on the 14th November saying it was being processed.
Didn’t hear anything for a few weeks so I sent an email asking if it had been despatched, heard nothing.
Waited a little longer and sent another email this time stating I would open a Paypal dispute if I didn’t hear back – he replied within the hour. Now, don’t expect any customer service what so ever - the email didn’t open up with: Thank you for your order, or good afternoon, neither did it finish with thanks or best regards. Literally two lines that read – Order despatched but due to Royal Mail strikes no collections or deliveries today or tomorrow.
No tracking available either – although the Facebook page says 24 or 48hours tracking on orders.
Wait another few weeks and still nothing. Ended up having to claim a refund back through Paypal resolution centre.
My belief is that it was never despatched as it was never in stock.
If you do choose to ignore the negative reviews like I did then please pay via Paypal at least then you can claim your refund easily.
Ordered from another website in the end who delivered next day.
Goes without saying I won’t use this site again.

Item ordered on Oct 6th, then get an email on Oct 10th to say my item is processing. Great I think, that should be here soon then. I waited...and waited, and then on Oct 20th, decided to email and see where my item actually was. Got a quick reply saying "item was already posted" Well, thanks for all that info, tracking number, date posted etc. Judging by a lot of peoples dealings with Mr.Roach, I guess he was being quite pleasant here, compared to what others have had to deal with. Other emails go on to blame Royal Mail, saying the item was with them, and it's up to them to deal with etc. The strikes, ohhh the good old strikes line. Funny, multiple orders from other stores arrived just fine and in quick time.
Anyway. I eventually get a tracking number from him. And rather than take his word for it, I decide to phone Royal Mail themselves, who then inform me, that the item was set up to be picked up on Oct 22nd. Which is VERY strange, as Mr.Roach said it was already posted long before this date. But there is an actual paper trail to prove him wrong...
I did get the item, but I really can't be bothered to deal with this store again, lies and his attitude really sunk that one. Judging by other reviews on here, I'm sure he will be along with some charming response.
Really wish I had done my homework on this one, the many, many negative reviews on here, as well as more than one UK toy group on social media have nothing but the absolute worst stories to share about his antics and attitude.
Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Is it good to try and support smaller businesses, absolutely, but when they are ran by liars, arrogant and rude people, well....

1st time using geekynerdtoys I pre ordered the set of 6 gremlin mogwais had a message to let me know it had been processed and it arrived today, well packaged and no damage, thank you

I've always tried to support this business despite nearly every order I've made with them having some sort of issue attached to it. Whether it's being told days/weeks after I've made an order that some of the items are no longer in stock, receiving orders way past their due dates because they couldn't be bothered to post them out, long delays in refund requests being processed for items that are no longer in stock, or being sent incorrect items.

My most recent order was the final straw. I was supposed to receive an order last week and when I asked the seller for an update I was told the following.

"Definitely been sent. It may be due to the size of the box which was required to ship the items in."

The parcel is medium sized and weighs 2kg...

Lo and behold I received the parcel today and can see on the label that the order was only sent out yesterday when it should have been posted over a week ago.

This isn't a one off. That's the type of person the seller is, dishonest with no integrity.

Do some research before giving these cowboys your money.

I place a few pre-orders from Geeky Nerd toys website back in Oct 2020 for Star Wars Vintage Collection figures. They were due in a 6 months but never did arrived. Fast forward to May 2022, I still haven't received my orders. I have sent polite emails asking for updates or refunds. Initially he would replied after a few days stating the stock will arrive soon. A few months later, still no stock and another email sent. Then a few months later I asked for updates or refunds but didn't received any refunds. Then I tried getting paypal to request refund but was denied as it was more than 6 months transaction, in fact it was more than a year. GN got angry that I have gone to paypal to request refund. So after 18 months of placing my orders amounting to about £300 paid, I have been ignored and ghosted by GN now. I have seen GN at the NEC fair twice now this year and he seemed to have a healthy stock and good takings. I didn't approach him as I didn't want to make a scene. On hindsight, I should have asked him face to face. What I don't understand is that his online shop service isn't trustworthy and why is he scamming and taking advantage of good customers like us who only wanted to support small businesses like GN? If I knew 18 months of waiting and can't get a refund or replacements, I would have gone to Zavvi or HMV instead. Nick, if you are reading this review, please reply to work something out. £300 is a lot of money and I think I have been extra patience on believing that you actually are awaiting the stock from Hasbro but really 2 years of pre-orders?

I will never use this company again. Still waiting for items I purchased over a year ago, which I have been told will be shipped on more than three occasions but have never been sent. They ignore your messages and rarely provide any updates even after chasing multiple times. One of the worst on-line businesses I have ever dealt with.

Excellent service 5 star. Figures well packed. In this crazy world with delays Geeky get figures in good time.

This mob strike me as a sketchy operation, a Website appears to only function properly on certain browsers. Thought it was me at first but family and friends got the same result.

Item purchased on pre order, never bought from before, so figured I'd limit the risk and spread it via the advertised payment instalments.

Item comes into stock, then comes an email asking for the full balance to be paid before item can be shipped?

Okay? Bit dodgy but I'll roll with it. Full balance paid, then nothing from them. No notification of shipping, absolutely nothing. It took me to have to send two emails and FB messenger to finally get them to ship it.

Came away from it all, with a sense of relief, rather than one of satisfaction. Not a experience I'd care to repeat and one I would not recommend.

1 Doesn't work on Google and Google Chrome via some devices such as a Kindle.

2 I know of and have purchased many items via installment plans that ship without the full balance being required. That's kind of the point of them, no?

3 Check and compare your own records between balance payments and when items shipped. Not going to do your job for you.

So the validity of the review has now been questioned and required verification requested by Geekynerdtoys. Okay not a problem all correspondence has been sent to trustpilot. Best of luck

Yeah... cause that's not sketchy at all. Make your own judgement folks. The facts have been made very clear above.

Like I said, more relief than satisfaction. Not one I'd care to repeat or recommend to anyone.

I got my order but almost 3months late and they had stock I had ordered but not received on their stall at convention’s but told me they had not had stock yet!? Customer service was not great either and came across that it was your fault the items had not arrived and some times could take days to reply and were coming up with excuses rather than being honest. Like I said they did eventually deliver but was far from an easy transaction.

I've ordered from here twice now, 1st time was a pre order item and I used the payment plan option. I had to message every time I wanted to make a payment towards my purchase and I would usually have a response with in a couple of days.
2nd time I ordered in their recent sale, delivery very fast.
Purchases are well packaged - I will shop here again.

Had my Marvel Legends Wolverine figure delivered today, excellent figure! This was a great price compared to Amazon and hard to get!
Arrived in mint condition as boxed and packed well so very happy 😀👍 !

I orderd an in-stock £99.98 figure from their website on February 1st. After one week item hadn't arrived. I emailed them on February 7th and they replied that my order would be shipped on today. Another weeks went by and nothing. During this period I also sent them many emails for chasing upates but they were all ignored. I finally received my refund on the 22th Feb(21 days after paying) with no notice.
I also got belittled by them when I asked them on their facebook.

Don't usually write reviews but have made an exception for this place.

Poor communication on the status of my order. Had to chase to find out when it would be shipped and was given evasive answers. Had to cancel in the end and was charged a 10% handling fee! Much better service elsewhere for similar prices. Made the error of not checking the reviews before buying. Wasn't surprised to see everyone saying the same thing! Avoid.

EDIT 2: After several emails back and forth we eventually got there. Was advised of the despatch and when it was due. Awaiting the postage refund, but I am sure it will arrive. All in it was a painful experience at times but got the result. I think the main let down was the lack of communication.

EDIT: Had an email from one of the guys there stating issue would be sorted and that I would get an email from tracking details etc. seller has gone quiet again. Heard nothing at all. Currently I am out of pocket with no figure, paid return charges and now way of getting hold of the seller. I emailed a couple of times for an update…… nothing. I was initially quoted that the figure would be sent mon 14/tue 15 feb. Its now 24th.

I ordered 3 figures from here. Initial despatch was slow, but no major issue as the figures were not urgent. Figures arrived well packaged. Issue came when i opened one of the figures, one of the elbows joints broke. Again, no major issue, contacted them and they replied quite quickly. Said to post it back, and they would ship another out. Said they would also repay the postage charge. Posted it back. Sent it via recorded and signed for delivery so knew it had arrived. This is where it has gone wrong. After having it arrive at the address, I left it a few days and have subsequently chased it up. I have had no response. As it stands, I have no figure and am also out of pocket for the return postage. It is a shame as up until that point I really liked the place and was going to be placing more orders. Hoping its an oversight but as it stands its not great.
