I have a really hideous experience with one of your products which I will attach all the needed so you can review and take the right decision, as the invoice states the shoe was purchased on the 24th of May but I started wearing the shoe around a week after then within a month I started witnessing the shoe is literally breaking off not as stated at all on all over your website or the places you advertise your product, it started to torn apart it is like am wearing a plastic bag! Not waterproof as well at all , my feet soaked in water literally, you can check the pictures that I even took after two weeks from the issue which is unbelievable! The last pictures which you can see the dates it became unwearable at all the bottom took off from the body of the shoes. Bear in mind I only used it for driving and in normal deliveries which was effortless to cause this kind!!! I am looking forward to your appropriate action about this experience.

My husband is on his 8th or 10th pair of these, they only seem to last about 6 to 8 weeks and then they start falling apart. Breaking away from the heel or the foot end despite having to use strong glue which doesn't hold it for long. The price is ridiculous for these, he only uses them for dog walking. Wouldn't buy them anymore.

I have been emailing Gelert for weeks to raise an issue with boots purporting to be waterproof that are not. The information I have provided on numerous occasions seems to be removed from Gelert’s system as soon as it is received as I have lost count of the number of times I have been asked to produce information I have already provided. I am at a loss. There is no telephone number so I am unable to progress with this frustrating issue.

Bought the mens Gelert Horizon walking boots in Sep 2022.
They've had moderate wear since on quite easy and even paths/roads, but after about a year they started to fall apart. And, to the contrarary, they've never been waterproof.
The only lasting item are the laces!

Awful, this is the second pair that the soles have just come away from the boot within weeks of purchasing and this is without a lot of wear in them. Will not be buying Gelert boots ever again.

Purchased a pair of Gelert Rocky Walking shoes from Sports Direct on 28/04/2024. On 10/06/2024 noticed that both heels on the sole had worn through exposing holes in the sole. Less than 6 weeks of normal use and in the bin. Do not recommend these cheap rubbish.

I wish I looked here before purchasing these boots from Sports Direct! These boots are completely useless, both boots have split on the tops and the soles have become detached after about a month of use. Somehow I could not read or write a review on Sports Direct's website.

Had my Gelert horizon mid boots for 2 days.

I would recommend anyone to steer well clear from this brand. I’ve had sponges that are more water resistant.

Walking boots bought less than a year ago. Stitching coming undone and leaking, very little wear. Gelerts were not interested in helping and told me to return them to sports direct who have said they can do nothing as outside their return policy... very poor company who do not care... AVOID.

Bought Gelert waterproof boots from Sports Direct. After three months of infrequent use they were no longer waterproof, so I returned them to the store, and they replaced them. After three months using the replacement pair, the sole came away from the upper on the right boot this morning whilst I was walking a large dog for the local RSPCA Centre.
We got back to base safely, thankfully.
Quality is very poor.

don't buy air mattresses from this company. They're total crap. I bought two, and they both broke after just three nights. What a waste of money.

One of the Gelert boots started to split on the sole allowing water in. They were barely broke in. I tried to return them but Sports Direct were not interested.

I'm so upset, the poor quality of the Gelert Tryfan boot ruined my weekend. Boots were worn in with a couple of shorter hikes, good socks etc. We were warned that the only way of the trail was by helicopter, yes it was a challenge. The side of my left boot ripped and I have grazes and blisters. The soles are rubbish on rocky terrain. My trip of a lifetime ruined by these rubbish boots

I bought a pair of gelert horizon mid length boots from sports direct in mid October 2023. They have been worn on average twice a week. They haven't been waterproof from the first time I wore them in rain. The waterproof membrane covering the boots is split and peeling off. Today the sole has come loose when walking. On inspection both soles have come away from the boot. These are the most appalling quality. Hugely disappointed having bought Gelert camping gear on many occasions and never had it fail like this.

The worst walking shoes ever made.Got them for walking the dogs,they lasted 2 weeks.The sole is made of paper i think.Youre better off going barefoot.Just the worst.

Do not use this firm ! I rarely give bad reviews . I purchased a waterproof jacket for £49.99. When it arrived it had a very clear 70% off £19.99 price tag . The tag is from Sports Direct not Galert . I have contacted them twice and they have refused to do anything at all about it . This smacks of a total lack of honesty and transparency and total disregard for their customers . I will never trust them or their brand again .

To add to this , they have refused to provide a returns label even in view of sending me a sale item instead of the one I ordered. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced !

I broke my wrist last week whilst walking the clip on left boot hooked onto right lace and got stuck fell flat on my face these boots with clips should come with a warning as since it happened lots people said theirs did the same but fortunately for them no broken bones

Customer service agent was rude.
Product is cheap crap probably made in China by children.

I buy always Galert mountain boots for all family and never been disappointed. Very good quality

So I purchased a pair of Salomons that didn’t arrive for our trip this weekend to Ben Nevis -8to-12. They did not arrive so I fell back on my gelerts!
These boots I purchased about 3-4 years ago. They have done me for 4 mount Snowdons (Watkin path x2, crib gochx2) Scafell pike, Ben Nevis x2 one very bad rain the other -8 to -12. Loads of dog walking. Do they leak yes in rain but I think is only due to rain getting on from the top poss where the sock gets wet. Iv gone through many puddles/shallow streams and not a drop as got through. This weekend with the -temps the gelerts performed perfectly for the mere cost of £40. My feet where nice and warm slipped a couple of time but this was due to bad footing. My foot broke through the ice onto cold water not leakage what so ever. After seeing my friend AL with his £150 Salomons fall a number of times I will be returning my Salomons and purchasing some new gelerts!
