Just a shambles of a company. It’s been a week since we applied and every time we call we get a different reason why we haven’t received the money yet. One person says they have everything then the next day something still wrong. They don’t even call you. We have to keep calling them. Avoid at all costs and use a different company. They tell us it’s going through until today and tell us they can’t process as my partners employment doesn’t have a landline and only a mobile number as he’s a plumber.

I am still waiting on a decision I applied 4cdays ago no ohine call I've emailed no reply and I've tried to phone always busy I thought it was a sane day payout

I have been furloughed and GB offered a covid break. It was a big relief. My monthly payment is 212.60 what is a lot when you receiving only 80% of salary. Break is over and in a week they took 3 payments: 216.20 on Monday 27th of July, £216.20 on Friday 31st of July and £432.40!! on Saturday 1st of August. Been told there will be no arrears, loan time will be extended by 3 months and payments will be collected as always after break. No emails, no contact, no explanations why they did that. Nothing. Tried to call customer service, busy. Send emails, no reply. Now it is 2nd of August and they calling my guarantor that I did not pay, and keep saying I am £432.40 in arrears. Do not use, avoid, doesn't matter how big your financial problems are do not go for a guarantor loan with GB.

Had an agreed loan with them and a week later still had no payout

As a guarantor for my son who has been give a payment holiday due to covid-19 and has spoken to them himself my son and I are both getting letters a phone calls from the collection department.in my eyes this is surly classed as harassment. My son has discussed this holiday period and got an e-mail conformation when he restarts the payments and still the letters an phone calls keep coming harassment!!

Ok so I've been with George banco for a while now, all I have to say is "don't do it" they have tried to take money from my account which is not the agree amount on a fair few occasions, I pay more to get it paid off quicker as its the worst decision of my life getting a loan with this company.

Now here's a company that can help you out! Easy to deal with and has clear steps to follow. Plenty of small print to peruse during your short wait for funds to arrive. Of course it's not the cheapest option but for a flat-footed credit footprint, who cares. Recommended.

Complete waste of time. Im 23, I have always been in full time work and have never been unemployed. I applied for a loan, they accepted, i called them to go over details and they said they would look it over and get back to me, never got back to me so I had to call them, bare in mind they take about half an hour to answer the phone. They said everything was fine and they would send terms and conditions via email, about 2 days later they do, i sign everything and give them my bank details and nothing in the bank 2 days later. I call them up again and they tell me they can't give me the loan as I'm in a risky industry, being in hospitality. My work title and place of work were put on the initial application, ive not rang them about 5 times since applying for the loan about a month ago, each time having to be on hold for about half an hour before anyone answered only to be told I cant have the loan. They had a whole lot of chances to tell me that they can't give loans to people in hospitality right now but they took all my details and wated hours of my time. 1 month I cant get back. Livid is an understatement. Dont waste your time.

Terrible customer service i was given 3 months as i was off for the virus, credited with the wrong amount in my account therefore ended up owing £1.20 which my guarantor was pestered for but i was never informed of until my guarantor told me what was going on. I have never missed a payment and have been a customer for many years to then be pestered over £1.20 that was their own fault! Also have had very little contact ever since this even though i have sent numerous emails. The full amount to be paid back is extortionate and i do not recommend GeorgeBanco to anyone. Loyalty out the window

I love the service and the man the holding everything with me who's name id Jake.All I wanted was a small loan to fix my bathroom and came out with more. I got to pay off my first loans .and do the repairs.
I thank God for his head also in this . I will as again when needed.
