Great experience! John was a brilliant tutor!

Just finished the course lead by John Fitzmaurice, was an absolute pleasure to be taking through it by him. Above and beyond on information and genuinely seemed to care about our futures in supervision.

I would highly recommend Goldcross, easy to deal with from start to finish. Thank you!

I recently completed a Goldcross training course with John Fitzmaurice, and I couldn't have asked for a better trainer. John is extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly has a wealth of real-world experience. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, encouraged participation throughout, and was always happy to answer questions.

The course was well delivered, informative, and enjoyable thanks to John's approach. I came away feeling much more confident in the subject matter, and I'm very happy to say that I passed the course thanks to his excellent training and support.

I sincerely hope John is still delivering courses for Goldcross the next time I book training, as I would not hesitate to attend another course with him.

It was a great course ran by paul Norman ,
Very clear. And professional , easy to under stand. , kept it flowing. Highly recommended , to any one that wants to do the course and sit the exam.

Darren was a great trainer.
His knowledge is boundless and has clearly worked through the industry to get to that point.
The course was delivered well and a little hard going when it needed to be, but I feel this was relevant and the balance was right.
Would highly recommend for renewal or as a newcomer to the SMSTS qualification.

Goldcross training, i have used then a couple of times now, they have been nothing but helpful and well organised, Training courses are well presented well with a good amount of home study. My latest course the SMSTS was really good. Cant thank my teacher Darren Whitley enough, he was really patient with the group, taking time with the group ensuring that the group had fully understood thw topics before he moved on

I decided to take my smsts with Goldcross for the second time. Again the teacher was brilliant. The tutor was engaging and very knowledgeable. He was keen not to just show and read power point slides. I highly recommend this organisation.

I completed my sssts at goldcross training & thanks to John Fitzmaurice making the course feel easy with clear explanation & making you feel comfortable. Great teacher & so down to earth. Perfect for the job 👍

Thank you to Paul Norman for being a great tutor. His teaching style was really good and very informative. He made sure that everyone understands the course provided. Will definitely recommend to friends and other companies.

Great training provider. The SSSTS course was well structured and the trainer made sure everyone understood, even with English as a second language. Special thanks to the trainer Paul Norman for his patience with my English pronunciation — it made a real difference. Good facilities and helpful staff. Would recommend!

Great SSSTS course.Norman explained everything in a simple way and made it easy to understand. He was patient, answered all our questions, and made sure everyone was ready for the exam. I’d definitely recommend this course to anyone doing their SSSTS. Thanks again!

I recently completed my SMSTS Refresher with Paul Stott, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Paul Stott is incredibly enthusiastic, engaging, and clearly passionate about teaching. His delivery style keeps you focused, involved, and genuinely interested throughout the course.

The information was presented in an excellent manner—clear, structured, and easy to understand. Paul Stott made even the more complex topics feel straightforward, and his real‑world examples added real value to the learning.

Overall, a well‑delivered course by an excellent instructor. Well done, Paul Stott.

Paul Stott, great trainer, great banter, folicley challenged, shit football team. 100% Thanks mate

Paul Stott was an excellent trainer - he turned what is typically quiet a 'boring' subject into 2 days of enjoyable and entertaining work, to the point that it didn't feel like a training course. Perfect level of professionality mixed with informal discussions with the group. Definitely one of my more memorable training courses. I also appreciated Paul's commitment to story telling and using life examples to magnify the points he was portraying! 5/5 and then add some! - Joe Murphy

Paul Stott made the experience of taking this course informative and a pleasure to take and would totally recommend this instructor to anyone.

Paul Stott was a great trainer.

Shame he supports Man City. Up the gooners!
