Goldcross Training レビュー

Both Tony & John were really good tutors, very approachable with any queries & it was a pleasure to sit the SMSTS refresher course.

Instructions were easy to follow and understandable throughout the course by the instructor

Martyn Hodges, Paul Stott. Good week, good course - Paul delivered at a pace to suit all.

Paul did a great job on this sssts course he engaged everybody and got us all involved the content was made easier to take in by his methods of delivery.

Great job Paul thank you

Alistair

Great help and support. Information was easy to understand. Thanks a lot to Paul Norman. I have passed and got SSSTS!!! Thanks again!

Paul was firm but fair. Very knowledgeable.
Highly recommended

Excellent course I had Paul Norman. Passed first time worth the effort.

Paul is a exerlant trainer, great guy and pleasure to be on his course.

Paul Stott as my trainer was absolutely 5*, knows his stuff, delivers it in a way that makes it fun, and genuinely wants you to do as well in this course as you can
did my SSSTS with Paul previously, and specifically requested him again for my SMSTS.

thanks for everything Paul!

This has been a very informative and high level executed course by Paul Stott, with clearly a very high degree and experience in H&S . Interestingly, I didnt realise Paul had such a passion for cooking and culinary flare for use of poppy seeds in vegan dishes. Well done you Paul.

I was honestly dreading the thought of sitting at my desk for 5 days to complete my SMSTS course, but Paul Stott turned what I expected to be a drag into a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Unlike typical, dry training courses where the instructor just reads off a PowerPoint presentation, Paul was lively, upbeat, and kept the entire class genuinely engaged from start to finish. He is a brilliant character whose deep industry experience and incredible insights really back up his teaching. Rather than just helping us pass a test, he actively built up my real-world knowledge and confidence, he shows absolute professionalism.

By the end of the week, I was actually sorry to see it end. Many more people from my company will need this training in the future, and I’ll be insisting they take it with Paul and Goldcross.

My only criticism is he refers to lunch as dinner...

Paul norman was very knowledgable in all the topic could tell he had some real experience. He led the class well and made everyone interact we felt like a proper team

The SMSTS course, well I was expecting 5 days of death by PowerPoint.
Instead, our trainer somehow managed to make health and safety entertaining and alighting.

His knowledge was so impressive that I'm convinced he personally wrote half of the legislation and was present when the Health & Safety at Work Act was drafted.
Every question was answered with confidence, expertise, and usually a story involving someone doing something spectacularly.

The trainer had the rare ability to keep a room full of construction professionals awake after lunch, which is arguably a greater achievement than passing the SMSTS exam itself.
The course was packed with real-world examples, plenty of laughs, and just enough reminders about prison, fines, and HSE inspectors to keep us all behaving ourselves.

I came away with a qualification, a better understanding of site safety, and a new fear of unguarded excavations.

Would highly recommend to anyone taking SMSTS. If all trainers were this good, voluntary attendance at health and safety courses might actually become a thing lol....

An Excellent course with our extremely engaging tutor, Paul Stott.
The course was very informative, and Paul drew upon his real life experiences, and humour, along the way, to make it a thoroughly enjoyable weeks training.

I have just completed the SMSTS course with Paul Stott. I found the course both extremely informative and enjoyable. Unfortunately Paul comes form the wrong side of the Pennines 👍

Paul Norman is the best online teacher I've had, his mannerisms and how he connects with the group work really well together.
Thank you!

After four years struggling to get any support from Bridgwater colledge, I was transfered to Goldcross training, under the care of Adam Shaw.
He was brilliant and guided me through in twelve months to complete my qualification.
Without Adam's help I would have given up and abandoned my course, so all praise and thanks to him.

Hi, it’s Steven, big thanks to Paul Norman for the online SSSTS course. Very engaging and did a good job at teaching everything, not just sitting there showing you a slideshow with no explanation. Changed my mind about online classes.

I wasn't sure about completing an online course but apart from minor issues it worked well. I found Paul Norman delivered a very informative and positive course, able to keep everyone engaged.

A really well-structured SSSTS course, giving all the information needed and more. Set in a relaxed, not-too-formal environment. Thanks John
