Issues multiple times
I've had a number of issues a number of times with GoOutdoors.
A couple of years ago I bought 2 jackets. I returned 1 and they said they were having issues and couldn't give me a receipt. After much arguing they wouldn't give me one. Long story short I was never refunded.
A few weeks ago I bought a tent at a good price. It was still in stock for a few days It then sold out. Before being shipped they canceled my order and refunded me, meaning I couldn't then reorder it.
I have placed orders inbetween fine.
I then ordered 2 jackets into store for collection. They took 2 weeks to arrive. This was 2 days ago. I was planning on collecting tomorrow. This morning I got and email to cancel and refund both items. What the hell is going on here?

We are saddened to hear about the issues you have experienced, particularly as this is not the level of service we aim to provide.
We appreciate how frustrating it must be to have experienced problems with refunds and cancelled orders on more than one occasion. In particular, having your recent click-and-collect order cancelled after waiting two weeks for the items to arrive in store is understandably disappointing and inconvenient, especially when you were expecting to collect them the following day.
After looking into your order this looks to have been a system issue with our communication emails to which we are sorry this has effected your order. As the the parcel had been with the store and hadnt been collected within the expected collection timeframe the order was cancelled and refunded.
We do hope we’ll have the opportunity to restore your confidence in GO Outdoors and provide a much better experience in the future.

Ordered 9 bags of groundbait
Ordered 9 bags of groundbait , on collection one bag had to be returned due to being stuck together with sellotape, the other 8 bags would have also been sent back but couldn’t guarantee for the order to be shipped in time , the other 8 bags were covered in a sticky substance ( more than likely a bait additive) which had removed the printing on the bags , staff after holding the bags had to use sanitising gel to get it off their hands , worse part is there was no fluids ordered ! So this was picked & packed by a lazy irresponsible member of staff who had his name on the packing log . Thankfully I made a call to go-outdoors head office, sent photos & they refunded the full amount & said salvage what I could .
A word to your warehouse staff , learn to do your job as this is unacceptable, to pack knowing the state it was in is just sheer ignorance 😡

What great staff and so helpful
What great staff and so helpful, dident realise how much money could be saved on the Go outdoors discount card, it cost me five pounds and I saved more than a hundred pounds on several pairs of shoes .I'll definitely be back.

i was at this store today Kate the concessions manager had us in shock was very very rude and aggressive waving her hands , shouting in front of other customers , said there’s “no one above me “ also laughed when i asked a simple question about exchanging 2 items , also i told her i spoke to head office witch i have a call log to prove it , her response was we didn’t call anyone apart from the store , when we asked if there was someone above to call she said no ,, i don’t think she owns the store ?? ,, tried saying if we take the items we paid for we are stealing , if it wasn’t for the lovely lady at the click and collect i wouldn’t have got anywhere think she deserves a raise having her as a manager , i’ve put a complaint through head office i don’t think this is fair !

Went here the other day to upgrade and add to my camping equipment, everything was fairly straightforward to find and when I came to the tills, Sarah helped me out massively. She got me signed up to the membership and saved me a lot of money doing so. Will definitely be going back.

Sarah the cashier lady..
Sarah the cashier lady was amazing loved our 3 golden retrievers, really helpful really polite and was able to answer questions, unlike the guy I asked about thermacel could barely know his own name he was useless, then Sarah saved the day, give her recognition please.

Very poor item and customer service
Very poor item purchased via click and collect. Returned item back to store and staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. I am still waiting for an email stating I returned to store Even though returned item 5 days ago!!!! Husband phoned customer service (and after on phone for over 30 mins) was told the lady he was spoken to on the phone had activated the return and would get an email regarding return. That was 3 days ago and still no email so heaven knows when I will be refunded!!! My husband asked for a manager to contact him and were told we would hear from them within 72 hours. Over this now and still no contact!!!! I have reported all of this via email on app and still not heard anything from anyone. Very, very poor service. I wouldn’t bother ordering something online or click and collect as service is appalling!

We apologise for the delays and lack of communication following your return, as well as the difficulty you experienced when contacting our Customer Care team. We understand how frustrating it must be to have returned your item several days ago and still be waiting for confirmation and updates regarding your refund.
Please be assured that once a return has been processed, a confirmation email is issued and the refund is then returned to the original payment method. After processing, refunds can take 3-5 working days to appear on your bank or card statement, depending on your provider.
We're also sorry that you did not receive the callback you were expecting after requesting a manager contact you. We appreciate that this has added to your frustration and left you feeling unsupported.
