Chloe was incredibly helpful and friendly helping us source walking boots and she was very knowledgeable on alterbative options.

Great service from Freddie today who was very knowledgeable and patient helping us to choose a backpack.

The fishing department is very bare, maybe awaiting a delivery but the last 3-4 times we have been in it's the same. The stuff they did have on the pegs had no prices at all so no idea how much anything was. It doesn't seem to be manned by anyone with any knowledge of fishing now so it's not even an easy experience getting a price check or any advice on the products available.
The Swindon Go Outdoors is 100 times better than the Gloucester which is a shame as it's a bit of a trek to get there from where we live but at least they have stock.
On the plus side the lady who served us (Kia) was lovely and really tried to engage our son into a conversation about Spiderman.

Great customer service. Kia in Gloucester branch was extremely helpful. Now fully informed on how to get our DofE discount card & the benefits of applying for it. Thank you Kia :) Also lovely staff support in shoe department for walking shoes/boots.

We have recently bought a tent from this store and the team have been very helpful, the assistant manager helped us understand an inflatable tent as this is our first, and Chad helped us further at the till. Extremely knowledgeable, professional and patient. Thank you

Myself and my daughter use this store very often and regularly use the Evri postal facility within the store. The gentleman that serves us is Matt B and we have to say, he goes far and beyond to assist us, making our visit very efficient and quick. He even runs around the store looking for items we wish to purchase if we are unable to find them. It is a pleasure to use this store and he is a credit to the company. Many thanks.

Great selection of camping chairs. I took mine to coubter where Chad told me he was sure these were on offer and checked for me resulting in me buying a second chair half price today. Excellent service. Thankyou Chad.

The staff member Chad was very friendly and helpful in helping find a day sack to fit me comfortably. They also showed me where the other items I needed were.

I only popped in for a browse with my husband as he had some fishing bits to buy but thought I’d look at some waterproof boots for the winter. I selected a few different styles and told the assistant my size. He soon appeared with my boots to try on. Gave me honest advice about each boot, comparisons between each style and asked specific questions about what I wanted them for ie: walking the dog, hiking, climbing etc. The assistant was George. A lovely, polite well informed young man. At no time did I feel I was bothering him and at no time did I feel pressured into buying anything. I did buy a pair of Scarpa boots in the end and can’t wait to test them out.
What a great asset George is to your company and he couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you George.

My partner & I had a fantastic (and funny) experience at the Gloucester store today. Went in looking for last minute camping gear & George helpfully advised us on the best products for our trip. During the process our 16 week old pup decided it was toilet time by the tents outside! To our surprise, George came to the rescue with bags for us to clean up. Outstanding service, great advice - wouldn’t go anywhere else for our outdoor gear.
