I'd just like to say a huge thank you to Saffron who was so helpful during my shop, when I visited the store on the 3rd of Sept. I would also like to thank Alana who I could not thank enough for all that she did for me. Alana not only went the extra mile, but exceeded that. Alana was so helpful in so many ways, I was blown away by her kindness. Both Saffron and Alana are a real credit to your store. Thank you both xxx

When shopping today the young lady called Nana served us. She was very pleasant, nothing was too much trouble and she actually saved us 10% discount by explaining we qualified as Caravan Club members. It was really to experience good customer service, the store should be proud of Nana

Today I was served by the lovely Megan, who always greats me with a lovely smile and a hello, you back again(oop's), all the staff here are very friendly and always on hand to help
Sadly the Plymouth store's fishing tackle is reduced so much now and not selling maggots anymore

I visited Go Outdoors looking for help with my Eurohike collapsable trolley and, despite not purchasing anything, I received outstanding customer service.

A special thank you to Paige, Jay E and Jay A, who went above and beyond to help me. They took the time to coach me through how to properly repack and organise my trolley. Nothing felt rushed, and they were patient, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable throughout.

It's rare to find staff who are so willing to help when there's no sale involved, and their professionalism and kindness really stood out. Thanks again to Paige, Jay E and Jay A for such excellent service. They are a real credit to the Go Outdoors team.

Went in to purchase cover for an outside event. Matt in the tent department guided us through the gazebo options with knowledge and attention. Bought all we needed at realistic price. First use yesterday - all worked exactly as described.

Sarah was super helpful on the shop floor, sharing her experience with the Achaea air tent - helped me see how to solve some issues I had with pitching my tent. And then Steph was friendly and helpful at the till. Made it a very satisfying visit. Thank you.

We had Megan serve us at the counter for our purchase and we highlighted a defect with a pair of trainers we were intending to buy. She was very helpful and polite and got a manager over straight away to try and arrange a discount on the product for us.

Very good service and a pleasant timely interaction.

Plymouth Store - Usually staff and store experience great - but in last visit we received a parking fine for a car tyre being 2 cm onto a white line and the parking company sent emails using an address that they know goes to your Sian folder so you incur extra charges- so a quick visit to buy footwear cost us £170 - so we won’t be shopping at the Go Outdoors again if that’s how they treat their customers

"I am absolutely disgusted by the treatment genuine customers receive at this retail park. I recently visited to shop, and despite parking safely and causing zero obstruction, I was slapped with a Parking Charge Notice by Premier Park Ltd.

I submitted a polite, factual appeal with photo evidence proving my car was safely positioned, which they rejected out of hand. Worse still, their email responses and rejections were filtered straight into my junk folder without my knowledge. Instead of showing any customer-focused discretion or sending a reasonable follow-up notice, they silently let the clock run out and handed the account over to a debt recovery firm—inflating a minor penalty to an extortionate £170.

Retailers need to realise that partnering with aggressive, automated parking enforcement firms actively punishes loyal shoppers and creates a deeply hostile environment. If you shop here, be warned: make a microscopic parking alignment error, miss an email hidden in your spam folder, and you’ll be thrown straight to aggressive debt collectors.

Is this really how Go Outdoors want their customers to be treated?

Safe to say, I will be taking my custom elsewhere in the future. Think twice before parking here!"

My goods had been with the shop for 7 days and at no stage did I receive an e-mail informing me that the order was ready for collection. It wasnt until I phoned to find out the status of the order that I was informed they were ready for collection. Disappointing.

Served by Camille. She was lovely and very helpful. She helped me with everything I needed to find the SIM I was looking for, then helped me find the shoes I wanted and gave me a handy tip on what socks to get to compliment my boots when I go hiking. Very happy.
