Major service - not all advertised checks were completed.
Major service booked on a recently purchased car so that anything not visibly wrong could be rectified before using it daily. Absolute proof that not all checks were carried on the 70+ checks included in this level of service. How much of the 'service' was carried out is unbeknown. I am aware of the £700 additional works that were found were completed though

The staff and service for me was great, HOWEVER....
The staff and service for me was great, HOWEVER... there is no facility for customers to park outside the unit.
Anybody waiting outside has to double park outside other companies parking spaces or risk using one of the empty parking spaces near the unit that are rigorously controlled with camera's, fines / wheelclamps

Quite simply, these guys never disappoint. My car needed a new cabin fan...from the get-go there were no worries on my part; I was kept in the loop regarding what needed doing and the associated costs. In addition, being a member of Halfords' Motoring Club = great discounts/money in my pocket. A big thank-you, as always, to the Tunstall branch.

Swift tyre replacements
I ordered, paid and booked the appointment for tyre replacements on-line. They phoned me when earlier slots became available. I accepted their second offer, arrived on time and he started to work immediately. A quick trip to Tesco's later, after a wee wait, the car was ready. I was handed the key and drove off without having to manoeuvre through tight spaces to get out.

Excellent service
On two occasions I’ve had Rotherham, Parkgate site change all four tyres on my car and on both occasions the service was excellent and the price extremely competitive so well worth a try.

Professional and friendly staff
Needed battery replacement and staff were helpful, professional and efficient, fitting it in quick time and disposing of the old one all for a reasonable price. Also arranged appointment immediately when other garages weren't able to fit for 6 days.

Reception area wasn’t clean no…
Reception area wasn’t clean no refreshments water or coffee machine.. staff were ok I was only getting tyres so it was a quick job 30min max booking service was good I got appointment next day

'a fail looks better on your service history anyway...'
Absolutely shocking attitude from the bloke who did my MOT and Service. When i went in to drop my car to them i specifically told staff that i needed the service doing before the MOT as i needed my Bulb and other things changed. The Man at the reception told me they would do that and then proceeded to do the opposite. They put my car through its MOT first which is subsequently failed due to them not servicing first. When i called up to ask about the fail, the man on the phone was rude, arrogant and passive agressive, trying to mansplain how 'a fail looks better on your service history anyway'....
Will NOT be going there again.

Resolving knocking sound
I used Halfords Huddersfield because I experienced a knock sound when driving they had my car in the garage and informed me I needed to new shock absorbers and front stabiliser links during the repair they found off side strut support mount was damaged they found the cheapest replacement available and fitted this part free of labour I can highly recommend Halfords
